The Guest House
Located at the waterfront of the Kieler Förde, House Welt-Club offers participants of
education programs at the Kiel Institute for the World Economy and guests from all
over the world accommodation facilities for 30 persons in 26 single rooms (12 to 21
qm) and 4 double appartements (20 qm). The single rooms are equipped with washbowl, furniture and have internet connection. On each floor there are communal toilettes, showers and a ktchen room that is equipped with furniture, refrigerator and
cooker. Every two weeks you receive new bed clothes, towels and dishclothes.
The service and equipment are not comparable with a hotel or pension, but we think
you will have a pleasant stay at our house in a nice athmosphere. On each floor there
is a lounge, outside there is a terrace where you can make BBQ and a table tennis
table to keep you in shape. In the cellar there is a computer and television room for the
guests. There exists a lockable room for bicycles and a laundry with washing machines
and tumble dryer.

How do I get to Haus Welt-Club?
Haus Welt-Club is located in front of the Kiel Fjord. You can reach the entrance via the waterside (Hindenburgufer) or via Düsternbrooker Weg.

From airport Hamburg-Fuhlsbüttel there is a regular bus shuttle service by the airport
bus "Kielius" (Autokraft) to the Kiel Central Bus Station (ZOB)
Ferry from pier "Seegartenbrücken" near ZOB to "Reventloubrücke"
Bus 41,42 to station "Institut für Weltwirtschaft"
At the end of the highway A215 keep straight ahead on the Schützenwall; turn right to
Ziegelteich, at the waterfront turn left to Kaistraße, continue straight ahead to Düsternbrooker Weg and then to Hindenburgufer (6 houses northwards after the hotel Kieler
Yachtclub). The parking area is behind the house (entrance in Düsternbrooker Weg)
