Weaver wurde bei Lungarung geboren, einem jila (Wasserloch) in der Great Sandy Desert. Dieser Ort befindet sich in der Nähe des Winpa Gebietes auf der Canning Stock Route.
Weaver wuchs in diesem Land auf und reiste mit ihren beiden Müttern und ihrem Vater umher, bis sie mit
dem Mann, dem sie versprochen war, verheiratet wurde.
Nachdem man im Pilbara mit dem Bergbau begonnen hatte, wurde ein Großteil des wertvollen unterirdischen Wassersystems zerstört, was zu einer verheerenden Dürre im Yulparija Gebiet führte. Viele Menschen starben, andere zogen weg. Auf der Suche nach Wasser zog Weaver, die inzwischen mit ihrem Mann
Kinder hatte, immer weiter von ihrer Heimat weg. In den späten 60er Jahren kamen sie schließlich bei Weavers Schwester in Bidyadanga an.
Ihr Leben führte Weaver zum Großteil im traditionellen Lebensstil. Sie gilt als seniore Gesetzeshüterin.
