1. Tag: Ankunft
You will be met at the International Airport of Kilimanjaro by your Driver/Guide and our representative.
We will take you to the Courtyard Protea or Holiday Inn
2. Tag: Mikumi National Park
Your guide will come and pick you up at your hotel at 07.30 and take you to Mikumi National Park
being nestled between the Uruguru Mountains to the East and the Rift Valley Escarpments to the
Southwest. As it is close to the Selous ecosystem and therefore part of it, it benefits from the highest
game density of the entire conservation area. The Mikumi National Park obtains a good impression of
the African animal world and is suitable very well for a short visit. After arrival and lunch at your luxury
tented camp you go on game drives around the park.
Overnight at Vuma Hill Camp or Stanleys Kopies inside the park Lunch and dinner included

3. Tag: Mikumi National Park
Full day of game drives around Mikumi. There is a rich variety bird species as well as large numbers
of giraffes, buffaloes and elephants and close to the water holes also lions, leopards and hippos. Furthermore you can see zebras, lions, wild dogs, pythons, hartebeest, wildebeest, elephants, impala,
warthog, eland and other antelopes. Several observation towers enable you to overview the park in its
entirety. Mikumi National Park is mostly miombo woodland with gently rolling hills.

4. Tag: Mikumi –Dar es Salaam
Early morning game drive at Mikumi to see also nocturnal animals not to be seen during the day. After
breakfast you return to Dar Es Salaam with arrival in time for your connection flight to Zanzibar or Mafia (not included)
Driving time without game viewing approx 4-5 hours to DAR outskirts, allow another 2 hours to reach
the Airport. Breakfast and lunchbox included
Alternatively, you have the option to fly from Mikumi to Dar Es Salaam
Then you spend a leisurely morning on game drive at the park and a last lunch in the bush. After lunch
your guide takes you to Mikumi Airstrip nearby for your short flight back to Dar Es Salaam and onwards to Mafia or other destination.
