Die Hockeyverbände schreiben sie vor, die
FIFA fordert sie im Interesse von Spiel, Spielern und Platz: Beregnungssysteme sind ein
wichtiger Bestandteil von Kunstrasenplätzen. Im Wesentlichen waren es zwei Anforderungen an das Beregnungssystem, die
abweichend vom Naturrasen, bisher technisch nicht überzeugend gelöst waren:
1. Die vollständige Überdeckung des
Platzes von außen ohne Regner innerhalb des Spielfeldes
2. Die Ausbringung beträchtlicher Wasser
mengen innerhalb einer sehr kurzen Zeit
spanne, zum Beispiel während der Spielpause.
Mit dem seit 2005 produzierten VP2M des
Beregnungsspezialisten “PERROT” gibt es
einen technisch ausgereiften Versenkregner, der beide Kriterien uneingeschränkt
erfüllt. Der einzigartige Wasserkolbenantrieb ist ausgelegt für Betriebsdrücke von
bis zu 10 bar. In Verbindung mit einer speziellen Düsengeometrie leistet dieser Regner Wurfweiten von über 50 m Radius.
Das Nachfolgemodell VP3 mit integriertem
Ventil ist seit 2014 auf dem Markt und verbessert die Leistungsdaten deutlich.
Im deutschsprachigen Raum setzen die
Städte Berlin und Basel den VP2M auf städtischen Anlagen ein und sind damit in bester
Gesellschaft mit der FIFA und dem neuen
Kunstrasenplatz “The Home of FIFA”.
Mehr als zwei Dutzend Hockeystadien und
Hockeyplätze in Holland nutzen dieses
System. Auch bei den Hockey-Weltmeisterschaften in 2006/2010/2014 und den Olympischen Spielen 2008/2012/2016 sorgte der
VP-Regner für optimale Gleiteigenschaften
und ein neutrales Ballrollverhalten.
Irrigation systems are an important element
of synthetic turf pitches. In the interest of the
game, the players and the field, hockey associations and the FIFA are placing high demands on the irrigation of these pitches.
There are especially two criteria that have
not been implemented convincingly so far:
1.
The full coverage of the field from
the outside without the need for an irrigation
system installed within the playing area.
2.
The output of particularly large quantities of water within a short period of time, e.g.
during half-time.
In early 2005, PERROT has developed a
simple yet technically sophisticated popup sprinkler that fully complies with both
requirements. The unique piston drive is
designed for operating pressures of up to
10 bar and in conjunction with its special nozzle geometry, the VP2M can achieve casting ranges of more than 50 meters.
The successor model VP3 with integrated
valve and significantly improved performance
data was introduced in 2014.
In the German-speaking region, the VP2M
is used for the irrigation of municipal artificial facilities in cities such as Berlin and Basel. We are also pleased to announce that
FIFA’s new artificial turf pitch “The Home of
FIFA” in Zurich will host the VP2 system.
More than two dozen hockey stadia and hockey fields throughout Holland are equipped
with this system. The VP-sprinkler helped
provide a uniform ball roll behavior as well as
ideal sliding properties also during the Hockey
World Championships in 2006/2010/2014
and the Olympics 2008/2012/2016.
