„Sir“ Oliver Mally ist mit seiner Blues Distillery seit 15 Jahren eine Institution
in der europäischen Blues-Szene. Aus Anlass dieses Bandjubiläums
veröffentlichte die Band nun eine Live-DVD.
Das Konzert wurde in einem Stück Live im April 2004 in der Spinnerei Traun
aufgezeichnet.
Die 15 Live-Tracks, beweisen die ungeheure Spielfreude der
4 Bluesmusiker, die an diesem Abend von Special Guest Daniela Wirtenberger
unterstützt wurden.
Als Bonusfeature gibt es auf der DVD ein Tour Special, vom 6. Austrian Blues
Masters in Leibnitz.
Neben Interviews mit den Bandmitgliedern Mally/Hackl/Wressnig/Kreinz
erzählt der Bluesharp-Revolutionär und Grammygewinner „Sugar Blue“ über
den Blues.
Zusätzliche Hintergrundinfos gibt’s auf der DVD in Form einer musikalisch
unterlegten Diskographie sowie mit Biographien der Musiker.

This band was formed in 1991 in Austria and they have since worked steadily
throughout Europe averaging 180 shows a year while recorping 6 CDs along the
way.
These boys from Austria have clearly done their homework in American music,
while also giving the music their own unique sound that really makes you want to
see them live.
Walter Kreinz is a solid bass player, Willy Hackl is truly a world class drummer,
and vocalist. Raphael Wressing will stun you with his Hammond B-3 playing, as
well as his piano skills, and last but not least, Oliver Mally himself on blistering
guitar leads and vocals.
