You might have heard about a
book called Wuthering Heights
by Emily Bronte who is Charlotte Bronte's (writer of Jane
Eyre) sister. They are three sisters. She is the second child of
Bronte family. She wrote this book
in 1847.
Wuthering Heights became very
popular that year. The book has
got deep poetic meanings. You will read cruel acts,
revenge, deep and strong love. The narrative tells
the tale of all encompassing and passionate, yet
thwarted, love between Heathcliff and Catherine
Earnshaw and how this unresolved passion eventually destroys them and many around them. You
need to read this book. Kate Bush wrote a song for
the book named Wuthering Heights. You should
listen to the song as well. She is also dancing really
well in the clip.
Well this is your choice of course! Maybe you don't
want to read a book. Maybe you just want to eat
your ice- cream and have fun with hot sun!
THE 2016 EUROPEAN
FOOTBALL CHAMPIONSHIP
The 2016 UEFA European Football
Championship, commonly referred to as
Euro 2016, will be the 15th European
Championship for national football teams
sanctioned by UEFA. It will be held in the
summer of 2016. The host country will be
chosen in May 2010.
The 2016 tournament will be expanded from
16 to 24 teams after the plan was unanimously agreed by senior officials of all 53
UEFA member nations. Four bids came
before the deadline
at 9th March 2009,
these were France,
Italy, Turkey as single bids and Norway
and Sweden as a
joint bid.

Our annual Student Assembly

and Izmir. All the schools had a
very wonderful conference in
two days of the Assembly.
To make another annual activity, our school held the first
Caricature Festival (right) with
the participation of different
schools from Izmir.

Das Rhytmus des Lebens
wird durch Musik erweckt!
Enrique Maestre, der Künstler
von Latain Percussion hat am 19. November 2009 uns
besucht. Wir haben durch Enrique Maestre verschiedene Rhytmen wie Samba Batucada und Samba
Bahio kennengelernt. Wir haben mit seiner Hilfe folgende Instrumente wie Surdo, Caixa, Agogo, Choalca
und Tamborin gelernt zu benutzen. Nach einer kleiner
Einspielung hatten wir das Vergnügen mit Enrique
Maestre auf der Bühne die Rhytmen in vollen Zügen zu
spielen.
