D Von Anfang an stand bei der Planung von ARGO
im Vordergrund, mit größtmöglicher Innovation auf die
spezifischen Anforderungen des Einzelhandels einzugehen.
Das Ergebnis ist ein einzigartiger Strahler, inspiriert von den
Scheinwerfern klassischer Motorräder. Sein fortschrittlicher
Deckeneinbauring und der schwenkbare Bügel verdecken
störende Kabel und heben ARGO gleichzeitig deutlich
von vergleichbaren Modellen ab, denn sie interpretieren
klassische Designelemente auf außergewöhnliche Art
und Weise neu. Die dadurch entstandene zurückhaltende
Formensprache setzt Architekten und Lichtplanern keine
Grenzen in der Verwendung. ARGOs elegantes Design
integriert sich fließend in jede Umgebung und rückt dabei
das beleuchtete Objekt in den Vordergrund. Die allseitige
Dreh- und Justierbarkeit des Strahlers unterstreicht
ebenfalls seine Flexibilität und ermöglicht die Schaffung

E Right from the beginning, the planning of ARGO
focused on meeting the specific needs of retail sales,
while incorporating the highest level of innovation. The end
product is a unique spotlight, inspired by the headlamps on
classic motorcycles. Its modern ceiling installation ring and
swivel bracket hide the cables and set ARGO apart from
comparable models, as ARGO interprets traditional design
elements in a whole new light. This results in a very modest
look, offering architects and lighting planners great leeway
in how the luminaires are used. ARGO’s elegant design
blends in smoothly with any environment, putting the
emphasis on the illuminated objects. The spot’s versatile
turning and tilting range enhances its flexibility, allowing for
the creation of attractive lighting accents.

D BEWEGUNGSTALENT
Die Strahler der ARGO-Serie sind Bewegungstalente: Bei ARGO RECESSED
handelt es sich um einen Einbaustrahler, der mit einer Drehbarkeit von 365° und
einer Schwenkbarkeit von 90° äußerst beweglich ist. Der aus zwei AluminiumDruckgussteilen bestehende Bügel mit integrierter elektrischer Zuleitung des
ARGO TRACK gewährleistet eine Drehbarkeit um 355° und eine Schwenkbarkeit von über 180°. Über den Multiadapter mit DALI-Option kann der Strahler in
allen standardisierten 3-Phasen-Stromschienen montiert werden und lässt sich
mit den Systemen MINYON 100 und CANYON 100 kombinieren.
FLEXIBILITÄT
Die LED-Module der ARGO-Serie sind mit CRI 90 oder auch in Sonderlichtfarben erhältlich. Der Reflektor ist in den Ausstrahlungswinkeln spot, medium
und flood verfügbar. Zusätzlich kann der Strahler mit verschiedenen Zubehörteilen wie Wabenraster, Glasfilter oder Strukturlinsen ausgerüstet werden. Dadurch können Architekten, Planer und Installateure flexibel auf unterschiedliche
lichttechnische Anforderungen eingehen.
KEEP COOL
Um in jeder Situation wirklich cool zu bleiben, besitzt ARGO ein ausgefeiltes
Thermomanagement bestehend aus drei Hauptkomponenten: Das AluminiumDruckgussgehäuse der Leuchte ist an der Innenseite mit Kühlrippen ausgestattet,
wodurch eine optimierte Wärmeabfuhr erzielt wird. Darüber hinaus ist das COBModul über eine Thermofolie mit dem Leuchtengehäuse verbunden, welches
einen optimalen Wärmeübergang gewährleistet. Für eine Durchlüftung des
Strahlers sorgen die Öffnungen im Bajonettring.

E TALENTED MOVES
The ARGO spotlights are talented movers: ARGO RECESSED is a highly flexible
spot, with a turning range of 365° and a tilt range of 90°. ARGO TRACK has a
mounting bracket consisting of two die-cast aluminium parts with an integrated
electrical cable, which offers a turning range of 355° and a tilt range of more than
180°. Using the multi-adapter with the DALI option, the spot can be mounted on
all standard 3-phase track systems and also combined with the MINYON 100
and CANYON 100 systems.
FLEXIBILITY
The LED modules for the ARGO series are available with CRI 90 or with special
light colours. Reflectors are available with spot, medium or flood beam angles.
The spot can also be fitted with various accessories such as honeycomb grid,
glass filter or structural lenses. This allows architects, planners and installers to
respond flexibly to a wide range of lighting requirements.
KEEP COOL
To keep its cool in every situation, ARGO has a clever thermal management
system consisting of three main components. The spot’s die-cast aluminium
housing has cooling fins on the inside to ensure optimal heat dissipation. The
COB module is connected to the housing with a thermal film, which guarantees
optimum heat transfer. The openings in the bayonet ring ensure good ventilation
for the spot.

Die bekannten und etablierten Lichtfarben Classic Warm White und Classic
Neutral White zeichnen sich durch sparsamen Energieverbrauch und höchste

Warengruppen. Falls eine verbesserte Wiedergabe von Rot- und Hauttönen
gewünscht ist, wie zum Beispiel für bunte, verpackte und hochwertige

auch in einer CRI 90 Variante an.
Für weitere Spezialisierungen stehen für sechs Warengruppen exakt
zugeschnittene Lichtfarben zur Verfügung, deren Spektren die beleuchteten
Produkte in ausgezeichnetes Licht setzen. Bei hochwertigen Textilien haben
Sie die Auswahl zwischen BRILLIANT WHITE mit CRI 90 und klarer WeißWiedergabe, und VOGUE mit CRI 90 und verbesserter Farb-Brillanz bei guter
Weiß-Wiedergabe. GALLERY ist auf knallige Farben zugeschnitten.
Die drei FOOD Lichtfarben zeichnen sich durch eine Verschiebung von der BBL
(Black Body Line) aus, und sind somit ausschließlich für diese Warengruppen
geeignet: PASTRY lässt Backwaren knusprig, Käse kräftig und Goldschmuck
begehrenswert erscheinen. Die zwei Fleisch-Lichtfarben GOURMET für Feinkost
und FRESH MEAT & FISH für rotes Frischfleisch betonen die Frische der
Lebensmittel.
Durch die veränderbaren Abstrahlwinkel lässt sich außerdem die gesamte

ARGO provides precisely defined lighting for a wide variety of situations. With
ten different special LED colours, it can meet any needs perfectly, making it the
ideal solution for precision use in the retail environment. The clear, reserved design
of the spot itself helps to train attention on the objects being illuminated, which is
a great advantage in the presentation of textiles, technical equipment and art in
particular.
The well-known, established lighting colours Classic Warm White and Classic
Neutral White stand out for their low energy consumption and maximum light yield
and are well suited for fast moving product groups, thanks to their flexibility. If the
goal is to improve the rendering of reds and skin tones, for example for colourful,
high-quality packaged goods, or in medical clinics and museums, we also offer
these light colours in a CRI 90 version.
For other special applications, we offer light colours tailored especially for six
product groups, the spectra of which cast the perfect light on the products being
presented. For high-end textiles, you can chose between BRILLIANT WHITE
with CRI 90 and clear white rendering and VOGUE with CRI 90 and more brilliant
colours with good white rendering. GALLERY is designed for bright colours. The
three FOOD light colours feature a shift from the BBL (Black Body Line) and are
consequently only suited for these product groups: PASTRY makes baked goods
looks crispy, cheeses look hearty and gold jewellery look appealing. The two meat
lighting colours GOURMET for deli goods and FRESH MEAT & FISH for red meats
highlight the freshness of the food.
Thanks to the wide range of possible beam angles, the overall lighting scheme
can be adjusted, allowing for interesting accents.

D Der Farbort jeder Lichtquelle lässt sich im CIE 1931 Farbdiagramm

der Bezug, um Lichtquellen zu beurteilen. Farborte, die nur eine Abweichung
von bis zu 2 Step SDCM (Standard Deviation of Colour Matching) quer zur
BBL aufweisen, gelten als reinweiße Lichtquellen. Ist der Abstand zur BBL
größer, kommt es zu einer offensichtlichen Farbbeimischung; unterhalb der
BBL pink-rötlich, oberhalb bläulich-grünlich-gelblich – immer abhängig von
der Farbtemperatur. Im warmweißen Bereich werden etwas unter der BBL
liegende Farborte als angenehm empfunden, im kaltweißen Bereich werden
oft leicht über der BBL liegende Farborte bevorzugt. Die Standard-Lichtfarben
3000 K und 4000 K liegen leicht unter der BBL. Hingegen weichen die sechs
Speziallichtfarben teils beträchtlich von der BBL ab.
E The colour point of any light source can be clearly presented in the CIE
1931 colour space using the x and y coordinates. This helps in selecting the
correct light quality for a product group. The BBL (Black Body Line) is the
reference for evaluating light sources. Colour points which exhibit a deviation
of up to 2-Step SDCM (Standard Deviation of Colour Matching) away from
the BBL are deemed to be pure white light sources. If the distance to the BBL
is greater, there is a perceivable mixing of the colour; below the BBL pinkreddish, above the BBL bluish-greenish-yellowish, always depending on the
colour temperature. In the warm white region, colour points situated slightly
below the BBL are perceived as pleasant, while in the cold white region colour
points slightly above the BBL are often preferred. The standard light colours
3000 K and 4000 K are located slightly below the BBL. By contrast, some of
the six special lighting colours deviate significantly from the BBL.

E The LED module VOGUE for ARGO guarantees superior presentation.
The high CRI results in a brilliant illumination of the desired objects, without
any damage as the spot has no UV emissions. Furthermore, its award-winning thermal management system ensures a pleasant indoor climate: the
cooling fins on the inside of the spot housing and the special thermal film in
the lamp housing result in optimum heat dissipation and transfer, and the
bayonet ring also has ventilation openings. Together with the low thermal
output of the LEDs, this helps to lower air conditioning needs in sales areas.
