Durch das bewährte Blasverfahren und der Verwendung hochmolekularem Polyethylens ist Eskimo von je her berüchtigt für seine Stabilität
und Steifigkeit der Schale.
Mit einer Weiterentwicklung dieser Produktionsmethode, dem patentierten Bi-X-Verfahren
ist es ESKIMO als weltweit einziger Bootsmarke möglich, Kajaks zweifarbig im Blasverfahren
zu fertigen.
Und über das innovative und bahnbrechende
IMP-Verfahren (Integrating Moulding Process)
entsteht ein extrem robustes und homogenes
Grundgerüst. Süllrand, Basisschenkelstütze,
Griffe und Lenzschraube werden schon bei der
Produktion der Kajakschale voll integriert. Es
kann auf die meisten Bohrungen, Schrauben
und Nieten verzichtet werden.
IMP steht für dauerhaften und verschleißfreien
Paddelspaß, aber auch für mehr Sicherheit. Die
integrierte Sicherheitsluke steift das gesamte
Cockpit aus, zusätzliche Aussteifungskeile sind
unnötig. Bei allen Modellen wird eine Luke gleicher Größe verwendet, mit jeder Menge Rückenfreiheit für einfaches und schnelles Eskimotieren.

made Eskimo famous for rigid and tough kayaks.
We didn’t select the blow molding process of making kayaks from an economic stand point. We chose it because it makes the best kayaks.

A further enhancement to our blow molding manufacturing is the patented Bi-X-System that makes
Eskimo the only manufacturer worldwide able to
produce blow molded kayaks in two colors.
Our innovative, state-of-the-art IMP (Integrated
Molding Process) technology produces an extremely rigid shell with the cockpit rim, basic thigh
braces and, hand grips (with bung) all integrated
into a single unit via the blow molding process. This
drastically reduces the number of holes that need to
be drilled into the shell and significantly reduces the
risk of hull leakage.
Eskimo kayaks are built for safety too. Its rigid
blow molded hulls are so strong that the need for
pillar foam blocks in the center is completely eliminated. All our Eskimo kayaks have the same
cockpit size with loads of room at the rear for
Eskimo rolling.

El desarrollo de este sistema de fabricación es el
Bi-extrusado, únicamente utilizado por Eskimo
en el mundo entero, con éste método podemos
fabricar kayaks en dos colores.
El innovador proceso final IMP (integrated moulding process) nos permite fabricar bañera y casco
en una misma pieza ofreciendo una rigidez añadida al kayak, integrar musleras básicas y asas en
el mismo casco, reduciendo el numero de orificios
en el casco y el peso de tornillos tuercas... De esta
forma conseguimos kayaks mas ligeros, más rígidos y más seguros porque no necesitamos colocar
tabiques de foam para dar rigidez que en alguna
ocasión puedan dificultar la evacuación del kayak.
Todos los kayaks Eskimo tienen la bañera del
mismo tamaño y esta rebajada por la parte trasera para facilitar los chiclés y el esquimotaje.
