Maier Sports setzt seine „Mission Clean Funktion“
in der Outdoor-Kollektion Herbst/Winter 2014/15
konsequent fort. In diesem Zusammenhang baut
das Unternehmen sein Angebot an Jacken und
Hosen mit der PFC-freien DWR-Ausrüstung Purtex®
weiter aus. Das erklärte Ziel von Maier Sports ist
es, bis 2020 komplett PFC-frei zu produzieren.
Das Outdoor-Programm gliedert sich in zwei große
Linien: Casual und Trek. Bei TREK dominieren
klassische Looks, mit komfortablen und technisch
anspruchsvollen Outfits für sportive Ausflüge. Zu
sehen ist ein facettenreicher Material-Mix von
mTEXWetterschutz- Membranen über SoftshellGewebe bis hin zu Hybrids. Die Farben sind
sportlich, fast durchweg als Unis eingesetzt. In
der Trek Linie bietet Maier Sports weitere PFCfreie Jacken mit der DWR-Ausrüstung Purtex®
an, die während des gesamten Lebenszyklus’ des
Produkts nicht nachimprägniert werden muss. In
der TREK-Linie finden sich als eine Besonderheit
auch Jacken im Business-Fit. Konzipiert für alle,
die über ihrem Sakko eine funktionelle Jacke
tragen wollen, die vor Wind und Wetter schützt
und Platz für Smartphone, Timer, Visitenkarten
etc. bietet.
Bei der zweiten Linie Casual geht es lässigfunktionell zu. Diese Outdoor-Outfits präsentieren
sich als eine Sportswear-Linie mit LifestyleAppeal und locker-entspanntem Chalet-Look
mit Wohlfühl-Faktor. Das unterstreichen StrickDetails und der Einsatz von Loden. Dabei
kommen auch hier bei den Jacken durchgängig
mTEX Wetterschutz-Membranen zum Einsatz. Im
Angebot sind neben klassischen Formen sowie
Blousons auch länger geschnittene Jacken, bei
den Damen bis zum Stepp-Mantel. Old-SchoolInspirationen zeigen sich bei zwei-farbigen mLOFT
Jacken. Die Farben sind erdig und urban.

Maier Sports consequently
continues with its “Mission Clean
Function” in the outdoor collection
2014/15. In this context, the
producer further expands his
range of jackets and trousers
made with the PFC-free DWR
coating Purtex®. Maier Sports
has the goal to produce entirely
without PFC from 2020. The
outdoor line is divided in two
large lines: Casual and Trek.
In the TREK segment, classic
looks are dominant. It comprises
comfortable, high-tech outfits
for sporty excursions and offers
a multifaceted material mix
from mTex weather protection
materials to softshells and
hybrids. The TREK clothes come in
plain, casual colours.
In the next winter season, the
TREK line features considerably
more PFC-free pieces with the
DWR-coating Purex® which
does not need to be renewed
throughout its entire life cycle.
A speciality of the TREK line are
jackets in business fit made for
all those who want to wear a
functional jacket, that protects
from wind and weather and offers
enough room for smartphone,
organizer , business cards, etc.,
over a suit jacket.
The CASUAL segment is, as the
name says, more casual and
also functional. This line offers
sportswear with a hint of lifestyle,
a relaxed “chalet look” with feelgood factor. Knitted details and
the use of loden underline the
style. The jackets of the Casual
line are all equipped with mTex
weather protection membrane.
The range includes classic pieces
such as blousons, but also jackets
in long cut and, for women,
quilted coats. The bi-coloured
mLOFT jackets have a touch of
old-school. The colours of the line
are earthy and urban.
