5. Le collier est chargé partiellement avant
expédition. Il est nécessaire, à réception, de
recharger votre collier pendant 10 heures avant
la première utilisation.
Conseil : Ne pas ranger votre collier dans un
endroit sale. Ne pas exposer le chargeur à l
humidité.

1. Mettre votre collier sous tension en tournant le
sélecteur d intensité dans le sens des aiguilles d
une montre jusqu au niveau sept.

2. Adapter l outil de test sur le capteur.
3. Tester en grattant la partie striée du testeur (voir
dessin ci contre) à l aide dune pièce. Quand la
lumière s allume, attendre quelques secondes et
répéter la même opération.
1. Le cadran sur le côté du collier permet de mettre
celui-ci sous tension, de l arrêter et de choisir le
niveau d intensité désiré.
2. Pour arrêter le collier, positionner le cadran
comme ci-dessus.

3. Le niveau 1 est le plus faible et le niveau 7 le
plus élevé.
4. En tournant le sélecteur d intensité dans le sens
des aiguilles d une montre, l intensité augmente,
dans le sens contraire, elle réduit.

1. Quand vous utilisez le Collier anti-aboiement
pour la première fois il est recommandé de le
mettre au niveau le plus bas.
1. Accrocher le collier autour du cou de votre chien
en prenant soin que les électrodes soient en
contact avec la peau.
2. Si le chien continue à aboyer, augmenter
l intensité de manière progressive.
2. Si le collier est mal attaché, le chien ne sentira pas
la stimulation quand il aboiera.

3. Vérifier chaque jour le cou de votre chien, une
possible irritation peut être causée par le
frottement des électrodes contre la peau.
Pour bien fonctionner les électrodes doivent être
bien au contact de la peau.
4. Ne pas laisser le collier sur le cou de votre chien
pendant plus de huit heures par jour.
Important : Pour visser les électrodes, serrer à la
main uniquement.

votre Collier anti-aboiement. Un collier en métal ou
une boucle en métal qui heurte le Collier antiaboiement peut activer le collier par inadvertance.

1. Laver périodiquement votre Collier antiaboiement avec de l alcool ou du détergent.
Avant de le laver, assurez vous que le bouchon
de la prise jack est bien fermé.
Votre YS500 est une aide précieuse quand il est
utilisé correctement. Bien lire les informations
d utilisation avant dutiliser le collier sur votre
chien.
2. Bien sécher après lavage.
Pour éviter toute irritation, le collier ne doit pas
être utilisé plus de huit heures d affiler.
Il est recommandé de souvent changer l endroit
de contact entre la peau et les électrodes. En
procédant à cette manœuvre, veillez à ce que le
collier soit sous tension.
Si le cou est irrité, désinfecter la surface. Utiliser
ensuite un antibiotique. Utiliser ensuite le collier
de manière sporadique, en attendant que la peau
aille mieux.
Utiliser la bonne taille d électrodes. La paire
d électrodes standard conviendra à la plupart des
races de chiens. La paire d électrodes longues
conviendra parfaitement pour les chiens dont le
poil est très long.
Attacher bien le collier autour du cou de votre
chien. Un collier mal attaché aura tendance à
créer des irritations.

résistants à l eau, non étanches, des modèles 175NCP, 180NCP,
200NCP, 400NCP, 410NCP et de la série iQ Pet, et des récepteurs
résistants à l eau, non étanches, du RRS, RRD, et RR Deluxe, n est pas
couvert par la garantie. Le remplacement d un émetteur ou récepteur
perdu est à la charge du propriétaire.
La garantie ne s applique pas si l unité a été modifiée ou si une personne
non autorisée est intervenue à l intérieur de l unité.

Pour les travaux de réparation qui ne sont plus couverts par la garantie,
après contrôle du technicien, un devis sera communiqué au client. Ce

transport. Joindre un courrier expliquant le problème rencontré et préciser
vos nom, prénom, adresse, numéro de téléphone et adresse e-mail.

inconvenance causée par le retour d un appareil pour réparation. DogtraEurope ne prête pas d appareils et n offre aucune compensation pendant
que l appareil est en réparation.

1. Connect AC Adapter to the battery charging
receptacle on the unit.
2. Plug AC Adapter into an electrical power outlet
of ordinary household voltage (220V) and
recharge the battery unit for 10 hours.
3. Recharge the battery unit for 10 hours once every
15 days at room temperature during heavy usage.

4. If the AC adapter is left plugged into the
battery unit over 4 days (96 hours), this may
cause serious damage to the battery cell. For
long term storage, it is necessary to charge the
battery for at least 10 hours once each month
and to store it at room temperature.
5. The battery unit has been partially charged
prior to shipment. It is necessary, however, to
recharge the battery 10 hours before initial use.
CAUTION : Do not recharge the battery in a
hazardous place. Do not expose the AC adapter
to water.

1. Turn on the “Anti-bark collar” by turning the
intensity dial clockwise and set it on level
seven.

2. Fit the test tool on the sensor of the collar.
3. Test by scratching the rough surface of the test
tool on the collar (as shown in the diagram)
using a coin. When the light comes on, wait for
4 seconds, then repeat the same process once
more.
1. The dial on the collar is used to turn the “Antibark collar” on and off and for selecting the
intensity level.
2. To turn off the “Anti-bark collar”, position as
shown above.

4. By turning the ON/OFF dial clockwise with your
thumbnail, stimulation intensity increases and by
turning counter-clockwise, it decreases.

NOTICE :
FITTING THE COLLAR
1. When first using the “Anti-bark collar”, it is
recommended that you start with the lowest level.
1. Tighten the collar around the dog’s neck so that
the points are in contact with the dog’s skin.
2. If the dog continues to bark, gradually increase
the intensity level.
2. If the collar is too loose, the dog will not receive
correction when it barks.
CONTACT POINTS
3. Check the dog’s neck daily for possible
irritation caused by the contact points rubbing
the skin.
The contact points must make good contact with
the skin for the unit to function properly.
IMPORTANT : When screwing in the contact
points, tighten by hand only.

hours a day.
IMPORTANT : Remove any other collars from
your dog when it is wearing the Anti-bark collar.
A metal collar or metal buckle that rubs against
the Anti-bark collar sensor may inadvertently
activate the unit.

SAFETY PRECAUTIONS
1. Periodically wash the “Anti-bark collar” with
alcohol or detergent. Before washing, make sure
that the battery cap is tightened.
Your YS500 is a valuable training aid when used
correctly. Please read the information on
operating the Anti-bark collar before putting it on
your dog.
2. Dry thoroughly after washing.
To prevent skin irritation, the collar should not
be worn more than eight hours at a time.
Also, it is best to move the location of the contact
points every few hours. To do this, take the collar
off and then put it back on so that the contact
points are in a different location on the neck.
If skin irritation is found, wash the area and rinse
with hydrogen peroxide. Apply an antibiotic
ointment. Temporarily discontinue using the
collar until the skin has healed.
Use the right length of contact points. The collar
comes installed with contact points that are best
for the majority of dogs.
Proper collar strap tightness is extremely
important. If the collar is too loose, it will not
function properly and it may rub as the dog
moves, causing irritation.

working :

Dogtra-Europe provides the original purchaser with a 1-YEAR LIMITED
WARRANTY for No Bark Collars, the iQ Pet Series and the StB-Hawk
Series, and with a 2-YEAR LIMITED WARRANTY for the other models,
as specified in the table here below.
The warranty begins from the date of the original purchase.

If a repair is not covered by warranty, the cost of Parts, Accessories, Labor
fees, and Shipping fees incurred are the customer’s responsibility. Labor fees
will be variable depending on the extent of the work required.
To Qualify for the Dogtra Warranty
A proof of purchase is required to initiate repair work under warranty. We
strongly recommend keeping the original receipt.
Not Covered Under Warranty
Dogtra-Europe DOES NOT cover the cost of repairs and replacements due
to misuse by the owner or dog, improper maintenance, and/or lost units. Any
water damage on the Water Resistant Transmitters of the 175NCP, 180NCP,
200NCP, 400NCP, 410NCP Series, and iQ Pet Series, and the Water
Resistant Receivers of the RRS, RRD, and RR Deluxe, will not be covered.
All replacement costs for either the transmitter or receiver will be the
owner’s responsibility.

WARRANTY AND REPAIR
DECLARATION OF CE CONFORMITY
The warranty does not cover failure resulting from damage, abuse or loss of
parts. The warranty is void if the unit has been altered or an unauthorized
person has damaged the unit while attempting repair work.
DECLARATION OF CE CONFORMITY
Battery replacement by the customer during the warranty period is not
recommended. If the customer chooses to replace the batteries, any damage
to the unit during the change-out by the owner will void the warranty.

The removal of serial numbers from any Dogtra products will void the
warranty.
Dogtra reserves the right to retain and discard any parts or accessories that
have been found damaged upon replacement and repair.
Out of Warranty Repair Work
For repair work that is no longer covered by warranty, the cost of repair will
include parts, labor and shipping. The owner will be informed about the
repair costs before the product is repaired. Write a note briefly explaining
the problem. Include your name, address, city/zip code, phone number and
email address.
Procedure for Repair Work
If the unit is malfunctioning, please refer to the “Troubleshooting Guide” in
the Owner’s Manual and call customer service at +33 (0)1 30 62 65 65, for
technical support, before sending it to Dogtra Europe for Service.
The cost of shipping products under warranty back to Dogtra-Europe is the
customer’s responsibility. Dogtra Europe is not responsible for units
damaged or lost in transition to Dogtra. Dogtra-Europe is not responsible
for loss of training time or inconvenience while the unit is in for repair
work. Dogtra-Europe does not provide loaner units or any form of
compensation during the repair period.

2. Setzen Sie das Prüfwerkzeug auf den Sensor am
Halsband.
3. Testen Sie das Gerät, indem Sie mit einer
Münze an der rauhen Oberfläche des
Prüfwerkzeugs kratzen (sh. Skizze). Wenn das
Licht aufleuchtet, warten Sie 4 Sekunden und
wiederholen Sie den Vorgang noch einmal.
1. Der Regler am Halsband dient zum ein- und
ausschalten des “Anti Bell Halsband” und zur
Einstellung der Impulsstärke.
2. Um das “Anti Bell Halsband” auszuschalten,
stellen Sie ihn wie oben gezeigt ein.

2. Indem Sie den Regler im Uhrzeigersinn mit
Ihrem Fingernagel drehen, erhöhen Sie die
Impulsstärke, wenn sie gegen den Uhrzeigersinn
drehen, verringern Sie die Impulsstärke.

Mal benutzen, empfiehlt es sich, mit der
niedrigsten Impulsstärke zu beginnen.
2. Wenn der Hund weiterbellt, erhöhen Sie
langsam die Impulsstärke.

haben, um richtig zu funktionieren.

1. Befestigen Sie das Halsband so am Hals Ihres
Hundes, daß die Kontakte auf der Haut liegen.
2. Ist das Halsband zu locker, wird der Hund nicht
korrigiert, wenn er bellt.
3. Untersuchen Sie täglich die Haut des Hundes
auf mögliche Reizungen, die entstehen können,
wenn sich die Kontakte an der Haut reiben.
4. Lassen Sie das Halsband nie länger als 8
Stunden am Hund.
ACHTUNG : Entfernen Sie alle anderen
Haslbänder, während Ihr Hund das Anti Bell
Halsband trägt. Eine Metallschnalle oder ein
Metallhalsband können unter Umständen das
Gerät aktivieren.

1. Reinigen Sie das “Anti Bell Halsband”
regelmäßig mit Alkohol oder einem milden
Reinigungsmittel. Vergewissern Sie sich vor dem
Reinigen, daß der Batteriedeckel fest verschlossen
ist.
2. Nach dem Waschen trocknen Sie das Gerät
sorgfältig ab.

Ihr YS500 ist eine wertvolle Trainingshilfe, wenn
er richtig eingesetzt wird. Bitte lesen Sie die
Bedienungsanleitung sorgfältig, bevor Sie Ihrem
Hund das Halsband anlegen.
Um Hautreizungen zu vermeiden, sollte das
Halsband nie länger als 8 Stunden getragen
werden.
Es ist von Vorteil, wenn Sie die Kontakte nach ein
paar Stunden an einen anderen Platz bringen. Dazu
nehmen Sie das Halsband ab und legen es erneut
so an, daß die Kontakte an einer anderen Stelle des
Halses aufliegen.
Sollte es zu Hautreizungen kommen, waschen und
desinfizieren Sie die Stelle. Danach tragen Sie eine
Salbe mit antibiotischer Wirkung auf. Benutzen
Sie das Halsband erst wieder, wenn die Haut
vollkommen geheilt ist.
Benutzen Sie die für Ihren Hund richtigen
Kontakte. Das Halsband wird mit Kontakten
geliefert, die für die meisten Hunde passen. In
Ihrer Packung finden Sie einen Satz Kontakte für
Hunde mit besonders langem oder dichtem Fell.
Es ist sehr wichtig, daß das Halsband richtig sitzt.
Ist es zu locker, funktioniert es nicht richtig und
kann durch ein ständiges Reiben Hautreizungen
verursachen.

Von der Garantie ausgeschlossen
Dogtra-Europe gewährt keine Garantie für Schäden, die durch
unsachgemäße Behandlung/Verwendung, unsachgemäße Wartung und/oder
der Verlust von Teilen entstanden sind. Schäden, die durch das Eindringen von
Feuchtigkeit ins Innere der wasserabweisenden, nicht wasserdichten, Sender
der Modelle 175NCP, 180NCP, 200NCP, 400NCP, 410NCP und iQ Pet oder
der wasserabweisenden, nicht wasserdichten Empfänger des RRS, RRD, und
RR Deluxe entstehen, sind von der Garantie ausgeschlossen. Der Ersatz eines
verlorenen Senders oder Empfängers geht zu Lasten des Kunden.
Die Garantie erlischt, falls das Gerät verändert wurde, oder wenn eine nicht
autorisierte Person versucht hat, daran zu arbeiten.

Der Ersatz der Akkus durch den Käufer ist während der Garantiezeit nicht
empfohlen. Falls der Käufer beschließt, die Akkus zu wechseln, sind

sowie Porto berechnet. Bitte fügen Sie eine kurze schriftliche Beschreibung
des Problems sowie Ihren Namen und Ihre Adresse bei.
Vorgehensweise für die Reparatur
Falls Ihr Gerät nicht korrekt funktioniert, konsultieren Sie bitte die Rubrik
“Problemlösungen” der Bedienungsanleitung, und kontaktieren Sie unseren

[email protected], bevor Sie das Gerät für eine Reparatur an Dogtra
Europe übersenden.
Die Kosten für die Rücksendung von Produkten unter Garantie an DogtraEurope gehen zu Lasten des Kunden. Dogtra Europe übernimmt keine
Verantwortung für Schäden oder Verluste, die wührend der Rücksendung
von Geräten entstehen. Dogtra-Europe übernimmt keine Verantwortung für
Zeitverlust oder andere Unannehmlichkeiten, die dem Käufer durch die
