In addition to the educational component, the Conference Dinner provides the chance for delegates and sponsors to network, relax and socialise with their peers & colleagues. The topics covered at this conference are: • Transgender and gender identity issues • Sexuality, young women, pleasure and safety • Preserving fertility • The heart (disease) of the matter: Midlife woman • Older LGBTIQ women The 2016 conference will focus on interesting and challenging clinical presentations throughout the different life stages of a woman. Day 1 will cover sexuality, pleasure and safety and why sex may hurt in younger women. It will be followed by a session on women’s reproductive age exploring gender identity issues from a GP perspective, preserving fertility and practising a pelvic floor workout. Day 2 will focus on midlife and the older woman and cover cardiovascular disease (CVD) and LGBTIQ in your practice. Each session will be interactive with case-based discussions and opportunities for Q&As. An optional CPR course will be offered for attendees who wish to meet their CPR requirements for the 2014–2016 triennium.
