MEMOBA
The MEMOBA-Mattress
Optimal Sleep Comfort
MEMOBA-foam has good air circulation properties and enables moisture
evacuation. Patients therefore benefit
from a comfortable and dry sleep environment.
Hygiene
The easy care Obatex DA protective
cover protects the mattress from moisture and patient incontinence. It is
flame retardant and washable up
to 95 °C and can be tumble dried. Its
surface structure is impermeable to
liquids while ensuring air circulation.
Safety
The reinforced lateral borders add
to the stability of the mattress. The
MEMOBA-mattress consists of a 8 cm
thick base layer of HR foam for stability supporting a 7 cm thick viscoelastic upper foam layer with ventilation channels and a special shoulder
comfort area.
How MEMOBA works
쮿 MEMOBA is a special viscoelastic type of foam which offers
superior pressure relief for both
light and heavy weight patients.

weight and body temperature
means the foam automatically
distributes the indenting pressure homogenously, thus avoiding excessive localised pressure

MEMOBA-Medium Mattress
Structure
The 7 cm thick upper foam layer of the MEMOBAMedium, combined with an 8 cm thick foam base layer,
offers optimal patient support. Reinforced lateral borders
result in increased stability and safety.

Pressure Relief
The MEMOBA-Medium foam structure allows for optimal
relief of localised pressure points and pressure ulcer
prevention. In many cases a dramatic reduction in pain
(e.g. lumbago) is achieved.
HR foam 8 cm
Suitability
The MEMOBA-Medium mattress is commonly used as
both a normal hospital mattress or as a care mattress for
the prevention of pressure ulcers. Moreover it can be
used on both sides.

Structure
The 7 cm thick upper foam layer of the MEMOBA-Soft,
combined with an 8 cm thick foam base layer, offers
optimal patient support. Reinforced lateral borders result
in increased stability and safety.

Highly Sensitive

light-weight patients. It is particularly supple and for
this reason results in specially effective pressure relief.

and care environment in particular for patients sensitive
to pain.
MEMOBA
MEMOBA-Duo Mattress

The MEMOBA-Duo is designed to suit a variety of needs
as it offers the benefit of both the MEMOBA-Medium

side the patient is positioned.

Multiple Uses
The MEMOBA-Medium part of the mattress is used
as a normal hospital or care environment mattress.
With its remarkable structure which relieves pressure it
is perfect for preventing pressure ulcers. The MEMOBASoft layer was designed for very light patients. It is
particularly supple and thus results in an unprecedented
relief of pressure. MEMOBA-Soft is also recommended
for patients sensitive to pain.

Versatile and User-Friendly
The easy-to-handle MEMOBAmattress overlays can be positioned
on top of any existing mattress.
Hygiene
Upon request the MEMOBA-Mattress
Overlay can be fitted with an Obatex
light protective cover which can be
washed at up to 95 °C and tumble
dried. It is flame retardant, impermeable to liquids and incontinence
while permeable to air.
The MEMOBA-foam can be easily
hand-washed in a gentle caustic
washing powder and dried at room
temperature.

The properties of the MEMOBA-foam
offers a remarkable relief of localised
pressure resulting in clinically proven
efficiency in the prevention of pressure ulcers. In many cases a dramatic
relief of dorsal and cervical pain was
also achieved.

The medium overlay offers optimal
support and comfort and allows for

The soft overlay is designed for the
light-weight patient. Besides its

patients’ pain in many cases.
The Duro overlay is designed for
heavier patients who prefer to lie
on a firmer support yet benefitting
from efficient prevention of pressure
ulcers.
