History:
This rare Bentley S III DHC is sold in May 1963 in the USA to Mr. J.J Calvillo. Later sold to
the well known Bentley enthusiast Dr. Ivor Harris. He sold the car to Mr. Jack Dudley and
Mr. Dudley sold it to at that time largest Bentley and Rolls Royce dealer in the US,
Hermann Albers, Zionsville. This dealer sold the car in 1988 to the billionaire and well
known Rolls Royce and Bentley Collector Roger Morrison. In 1990 the car was sold for
175.000 US$ to the company car & driver in Hamburg/Germany. The current owner
bought the car 1997 from the owner of that company through the Bentley and Rolls Royce
Dealer Auto-Becker in Düsseldorf/Germany. The car was first registered in Germany and
has now an Austrian Title. In 1999 the car was undergone a comprehensive partial
restoration.
The car is always in perfect shape with normal signs of usage. Every repair which was
necessary was executed and the car was maintained only by official Bentley specialists in
Germany and Austria. Today this great Benley built by Park Ward is so fare as we know the
only lefthandrive SIII DHC offered in the world.
