TDRC Forum is a consortium of five small grass root organisations that are working towards a holistic improvement in
the community for multiple disadvantaged children and youth
living with disabilities. The main aim is to provide access to
adequate services that promote their development, protection and participation in community life.
Tasks:
In the context of the INTERTEAM country programme Tanzania one or two development workers will support the individual organisations by their needs but will also strengthen
the network through the TDRC Forum in the community
based rehabilitation approach. As a Physio-, Speech- and/or
Occupational therapist with experience in working with disabled people you will provide expertise and train the staff in
this regard.
General requirements:









Completed education/training
Min. 2 years of working experience
Minimum age of 26 years
Domicile in Switzerland
Good physical and mental health
High level of social and self-competence
Intercultural sensibility
Interest in development policy and social conditions
Willingness to an adapted life style
Additional requirements:



Physio-, Speech- and/or Occubational Therapist
Very good knowledge of written and oral English
Willingness to learn the local language Kiswahili
