THE STORY
Pinetum was created in 1989 by Managing Director Dean Robbins, together with his brother Richard, and began by designing and
manufacturing hand-built pine bookcases from a very small unit in Sutton Veny, just a stone’s throw from the present manufacturing
site in Warminster. From a very small distribution base, Pinetum can boast that it is now truly a “nationwide” manufacturer supplying
retailers throughout the UK and Ireland.
Since those modest beginnings, Pinetum has grown rapidly to become one of the largest manufacturers of solid wood furniture
in the UK with a very impressive facility, which includes 3 large industrial units on a 4 acre site in Warminster, Wiltshire, covering
over 50,000 square feet of manufacturing, distribution and office space.
Caring for your Furniture
It is important to remember that all Pinetum’s solid Oak furniture has been carefully produced using natural organic
materials, the timber has been prepared specifically for use in the manufacture of interior furniture and has been
slowly kiln dried to bring the moisture content down to between 8 and 9%.
Average household humidity levels are between 30 - 50% depending on climatic conditions. It is therefore imperative
that the furniture be kept in as warm and dry an environment as is practically possible. Storing the furniture in conditions
outside of these levels will invariably cause a degree of movement and create potential problems, particularly with
doors and drawers.
Pinetum’s furniture collections range from our traditional pine furniture Tuscan and Roman ranges to very contemporary designs
such as those found in the Quercus and Como ranges. Our philosophy of being led by design innovation and quality means that
Pinetum’s range caters for every home be it a modern city centre studio or a grand country house. With over 2000 products
available in the Pinetum collection, each with its own individual character and style we are sure that there is a piece to suit every
taste and setting.
Minor damage in the form of small scratches, dents and general wear and tear can easily be remedied using a Pinetum
Furniture Care Kit available from Pinetum stockists. Major damage and breakages are best taken care of by employing
the services of a local cabinet maker or joiner, alternatively you might enquire with the store from
which you purchased your furniture about the possibility of a “return and repair”.
There are many other features which set Pinetum furniture apart from the crowd including dovetail joints and mortise and tenon
joints which all come as standard. All of our furniture is made-to-order and is made using only the finest raw materials.
NB: Never use chemical, abrasive materials or cleaners on your Pinetum Furniture.

Dining Tables
Stunning centrepiece design is the key to the quercus collection and our table range ensures that
this is true in any style of home. All tables are made from solid oak and provide a wide selection of
styles to fit into any traditional or modern location. Built with longevity and quality in mind, features
such as breadboard ends come as standard on some pieces and all tables are beautifully finished
with chamfered tops to complete these fine pieces of furniture.
Many table styles are also available in extending versions, seating one to as many as fourteen people,
and dependent on style some have the ability to store the leaf inside the table.
Dining Chairs and Benches
A wide variety of solid oak beautifully styled chairs are available from the quercus collection each
selected to perfectly complement your choice of quercus table. All chairs are made from solid oak
under contract by carefully selected suppliers then finished in the UK by Pinetum. Seat pads are
available in a broad selection of fabrics and colours to suit you own personal taste and room décor.
See page 48 for the full range of fabrics available.
Three sizes of dining bench are also available in both straight and taper leg designs as an alternative
to our chair range.

Sideboard Bases and Tops
These modern quercus sideboards are all made from solid oak and are beautifully proportioned to provide
a stunning centrepiece to any room.
Four styles are available; tall door, centre drawer and the beautiful new sliding door sideboards in door only
or drawer and door combinations. Each has its own character and is designed to be both elegant and practical
as far as storage is concerned.
Options for sideboards include oak or metal knobs and handles. Shelves are fully adjustable in both sideboard
bases and sideboard tops.
Glazed sideboard tops are also available with the quercus deluxe pack which includes lights and glass shelves
to really enhance these beautiful pieces of furniture.

Dresser Bases and Tops
Solid oak quercus dressers are not only beautifully designed but great care has been taken to add all the
practicality you require in terms of storage and display.
A huge selection of styles are available in two, three and four bay versions with matching half-glazed or fully
glazed tops.
Options for dressers include; cornice or flat tops and oak or metal knobs and handles. Shelves are fully
adjustable in both dresser bases and dresser tops.
Glazed dressers tops are also available with the quercus deluxe pack which includes lights and glass shelves
to really enhance these beautiful pieces of furniture.
All dressers are also available as separate base units only for use as low level sideboards.

Bookcases
An enormous variety of solid oak bookcases are available in the quercus range. All of them come with fully adjustable shelves
as standard. The 78, 72 and 66 tall bookcases all have a fixed shelf one third of the way up to provide additional strength and
stability. Two different shelf depth options are available to ensure safe storage of your books and files.
Cabinets
The solid oak quercus range of cabinets (all with mortise and tenon door assembly) offers a vast array of units to choose from
in a variety of different configurations and glazed options to make the most of displaying your prized items.
Half door cabinets provide storage solutions below an open shelved bookcase, half glazed units offer the security of having
everything behind glazed and panelled doors, whilst fully panelled cabinets provide for completely hidden storage. A deluxe
option which includes fully adjustable glass shelving and internal low voltage lighting is also available.
Hall Tables
quercus solid oak hall tables have been designed to make the most of situations where space is at a premium. quercus hall tables
are perfect as telephone and side tables. The small hall table comes as standard with one drawer, with the 1.2 and 1.5 hall tables
coming with two.
Glazed Cabinets and Tallboys
A selected range of occasional units has been created to complement the rest of the quercus living room collection.

Office Desks
Create a stylish, versatile and practical home office with a solid oak quercus office desk. Available in single
pedestal and double pedestal, straight and corner versions, to match all your requirements.
The single pedestal unit is supplied as standard with a three drawer pedestal which can be positioned to
the right or left of the desk.
Double pedestal straight and corner desks are supplied as standard with one three drawer pedestal and one
drawer/cupboard pedestal.
The filing drawers in all desks take standard A4 hanging files.
Filing Chests And Printer Cabinets
Individual filing and printer cabinets are also available in the range. Filing chests have door and cupboard
variations with each filing drawer having hanging file runners to accommodate standard foolscap hanging
files. Printer cabinets are available with bookracks for additional storage if required.

Breakfast Bars
quercus solid oak breakfast bars are a stylish and practical way to add both extra storage,
eating space and working space to the kitchen. Available in 2 and 3 bay options with internal
adjustable shelves and tops that can be placed in any configuration, they are exceptionally
versatile allowing the unit to be placed up against a wall or free standing within the room.
Tall Tables
Tall tables are available in two sizes and are the ideal addition to the kitchen for extra eating
space and are supplied with fitted drawers as standard.

Beds
The oak quercus bed collection is comprehensive and designed to suit every size of bedroom. Most
beds come in the full complement of sizes – single, 4ft, double, king size and super king size. High and
low foot end options are also available on selected styles. All quercus beds are sprung slatted giving you
additional comfort and come disassembled for easy access into your home.
Wardrobes
All quercus wardrobes are designed to bring excellent storage options to your bedroom. There are four
styles available; all hanging, combination, ladies and the fabulous new sliding door wardrobe. All have
different hanging rail and shelf options to fit individual requirements. Options for the standard wardrobes
include door locks which can be added free of charge. Deluxe versions of these wardrobes are also
available with internal mirrors, tie rails, locks and different shelf options.
1.8m and 2.4m sliding door wardrobes come standard as all hanging but can be fitted with a half-unit
shelving option. Other options include soft close built-in drawer pack, internal basket sets and illuminated
hanging rails.
All larger bedroom items such as beds and wardrobes can be fully dismantled for easy delivery and moving
when required.

Every solid oak quercus chest of drawers is made with quality features throughout, for example, all drawers
are made with dovetail joints and the proportions of each chest have been designed to bring style and
practicality to any bedroom. For even greater storage capacity Wellington chests are also available.
Bedsides
A range of stylish bedsides is available designed to complement both beds and other parts of the bedroom
suite alike. Bedside cabinets are available in small or large sizes with door or drawer options as well as a
large bedside table, which are all a perfect addition to our bedroom furniture range.
Blanket Boxes
For additional storage capacity a range of blanket boxes is also available to complete the suite with the
different sizes having been designed to match each size of bed available from the quercus collection.

Dressing Tables and Stools
The quercus solid oak dressing tables will bring great style to any bedroom. Available in single and double pedestal versions they
can be complemented perfectly by a choice of quercus bedroom stools, which are available in a number of fabric options.
Benches
Our new upholstered benches are available in two sizes and, with sliding seat pads, offer a completely flexible and new approach
to seating options in the bedroom. Sliding seat pads are available in a full range of fabric choices.
Mirrors
There are three styles of mirror in the quercus range. These include free-standing dressing table mirrors, full-length dressing mirrors
and wall mounted mirrors. All Mirrors are available in varying shapes and sizes and each one is made from solid oak to match the
rest of your bedroom suite. Each mirror comes with all the necessary fittings for easy fixing.
Underbed drawer
Short of storage space in the bedroom? Our large underbed drawers, fitted with castors to make them easy to move around, may
be the ideal solution to using that final bit of unused space in the bedroom.
