Beinkonstruktion aus gebogenem, dem
Formverlauf der Tischplatte folgenden
Stahl- oder Edelstahlblech.
The characteristic element of the joval
coffee and side tables is the innovative
leg construction made of bent steel or
stainless steel that follows the curves of
the table top.
Die Grundform der Tischplatte ist dabei
entweder dreieckig (PLEKTRON), rund
(CHRONOS) oder quadratisch (VEXUS).
The form of the table top is available in
the three basic geometric forms triangle
(PLEKTRON), circle (CHRONOS), or square
(VEXUS).
Die Tischplatte von PLEKTRON und
CHRONOS ist zusätzlich visuell in drei Elemente geteilt, an deren Schnittpunkte die
Beine ansetzen. Die Linienführung wirkt
dadurch dynamisch und lässt sich unendlich
fortführen.
Die Couchtische sind trotz der filigranen
Beinkonstruktion aus lasergeschnittenem
Stahlblech schwingungsfrei und stabil.
Tischplatte und Beine sind in einer
Vielzahl von Materialien (Lack / Furnier &
pulverbeschichteter Stahl / handpolierter
Edelstahl) und Farben erhältlich.

The table top of PLEKTRON and CHRONOS
is visually separated in three elements,
using either a decorative groove or three
veneer panels, at which intersection the
legs start.
The innovative leg construction, made from
laser-cut steel, gives the tables both a
light appearance and a high, vibration-free
stability.
The tables are available in various veneered
and lacquered versions with powder-coated
or hand-polished stainless steel legs.

Jonas Schroeder ist ein Quereinsteiger
in der Welt des Designs. Als Autodidakt
gründete er die Möbelmarke joval nach
vielfältigen Erfahrungen in Montreal, New
York City, Madrid und Chicago.
Die Gründung von joval resultiert aus seiner Leidenschaft für die Kreation ästhetischer und funktionaler Möbel und basiert
auf einer offenen, unvoreingenommenen
Geisteshaltung.
Bei seinen Entwürfen verbindet Jonas
Schroeder analytische, mathematische Ansätze mit Intuition und viel Liebe zum Detail.

of design. The autodidact founded joval
after diverse experiences in Montreal, New
York City, Madrid, and Chicago.
The foundation of joval is based on
his passion for creating aesthetic and
functional furniture and rests upon an
open-minded and unbiased mind-set.
In his designs Jonas Schroeder combines
an analytical, mathematical approach with
intuition and great attention for details.
One year after the foundation of joval
and several publications in interior design
magazines the shelving system REBAR
was selected for the renowned „Interior
Innovation Award 2014 - Best of Best“ of
