All seasons are good for travelling in ITALY
MILANO – City Tour including the Last Supper
SPRING (March - May):
Spring comes early in Italy and it’s the ideal time for holidays in locations
such as Florence, the Gulf of Naples, the Sorrento peninsula, the Aeolian
Island, Sicily and Rome.
SUMMER (June - August):
There are numerous beach resorts all along the Ligurian and Adriatic
Rivieras, and magnificent beaches on the Tyrrhenian, Adriatic and Ionian
shores and in Sardinia. At this time of year vacations in the mountains are
particularly attractive at Alpine resort such as Ortisei, Cervinia, Cortina
d’Ampezzo and in the Apennines at Abetone (Tuscany), Roccaraso
(Abruzzo), Sila (Calabria) or on Mt. Etna in Sicily.
AUTUMN (September - November):
Autumn is particularly enjoyable at Merano and Bressanone
in the Dolomites, on the lakes of Lombardy, in Rome, Apulia, on Italy’s
beautiful islands and for visiting Italy’s many spas.
WINTER (December – February):
Winter is, of course, the winter sports season. Sports centres can
be found not only in the Alps but also in many other parts of Italy such
as the central Apennines, on the Aspromonte in Calabria, and in Sicily.
Winters are delightfully mild on the Ligurian and Neapolitan coasts and
in Sicily. This is also the best time to visit the art cities and avoid the crowds.
Depart from Foro Bonaparte at 9.30 or 14.30
Visit of the courtyard of Castello Sforzesco and continue by bus to the
Basilica of Santa Maria delle Grazie.
Visit The Last Supper of Leonardo Di Vinci. After that enjoy a panoramic
tour of the city by bus.

Montepulciano Language School
The Italian language school is located in Montepulciano, a beautiful,
renaissance town that stands on a hill surrounded by vineyards and olive
groves in southern Tuscany. The school was founded in 1983 by people
who are still running it today, and it is recognized by the Ministry
of Education, Research and Universities.
The school is in an historic building in the heart of the town. It has 8 large,
airy classrooms and a hall that`s used for conferences, exhibitions and
events. There`s a terrace with a lovely panoramic view - a favourite place
for students to take their class breaks during the summer months - as
well as free Internet access and the opportunity to study or watch a film
at the school at any time throughout the day. In addition, the school offers
its students the chance to pass their afternoons together through a wide
variety of excursions and activities - guided tours, wine, olive oil and cheese
tastings, cooking lessons, walks in the country... For fitness enthusiasts the gym in Montepulciano offers our students discounts and special courses.
The language courses generally run for two weeks, however, it is possible
to attend for one week only or for periods longer than two weeks. Students
who already speak some Italian may enter a class mid-session, whereas
newcomers to the language must start at the scheduled beginning
of the courses in order to avoid difficulties.
To give you an idea about cost, 1 week ordinary course start from EUR 225.00
There are also various accommodation options available to you. These
include furnished apartments, homestay (be part of an Italian daily life
and live with a family); or a hotel or residence. All the above can be
arranged by the school on your behalf & accordingly prepayment will
be required and made directly to them.

Venice Tours
Regular Excursion to Murano, Burano and Torcello Islands
Spicy Venice
Once a recognized Mediterranean power, in the 18th century the ancient
Republic of Venice was withdrawing into itself. In this age of political
and economic decline, not the same could be argued about its citizens
social life... this was the golden age of libertine writers, scandalous
ladies and lascivious Carnivals. But Venice was also a romantic place
for hidden relationships, a time for lovers and courtesans, and the time
of Casanova. In this walk back in time through the centuries, you will
enjoy a collection of spicy stories narrated while walking in the Rialto
area of the city, filled with places with long stories and rich histories
behind, tales told often in murmurs...

It is surrounded by a century old park immersed
in the nature of the most uncontaminated
area of Umbria: the Valnerina. The building,
which has been a private house since 1880,
has maintained its original fascination and

Tivoli, Villa Adriana and Villa D’este
Become Gladiator For 1 Day
Following the ancient Via Tiburtina for 30 Kms. east of Rome, this tour
allows you to visit and compare two very splendid villas from two different
ages. The Villa Adriana dating back to Roman Times and the Villa D’Este
from the Renaissance period. At the foot of the Tiburtini hills, source of
the springs that supply the spa town of Bagni di Tivoli and which are
dominated by vast quarries of travertine marble, you will stop first to visit
the ruins of Villa Adriana which can only hint at the grandeur and beauty
of this Villa built by Emperor Hadrian to remind him of the monuments and
sites he had admired during his travels in the East. We then continue to
the Villa D’Este, one of the most beautiful residences of the Renaissance.
The Villa’s countless fountains, set in the heart of magnificent Italian style
gardens, create a delightfully graceful symphony of carved stone, shade,
sunlight and water. Return to the vicinity of your hotel. Duration: 4 hours.
The Scuola Gladiatori Roma teaches you how to train and fight
with authentic weapons used by gladiators of ancient Rome. Sessions
are organized and led by members of the Historic group of Rome
who specialize in the re-enactment of Roman Life e Gladiator combat.
Each session (approx. two hours) includes an introduction to Roman
History and a description of life as a Gladiator. You will visit the historic
museum and inside of it you will learn the basic techniques
of gladiatorial sword fighting.

NAPLES, POMPEII - 1 Day
ASSISI, ORVIETO - 1 Day
After leaving Rome and driving along the “Sun Route” motorway,
we will cross the regions of Lazio and Campania. From the road you
will enjoy the view of the famous Abbey of Montecassino. Once in
Naples, there will be a short panoramic tour of the city: the pier of
Santa Lucia with its impressive Castel dell’Ovo, the historical centre,
Piazza del Plebiscito, the Royal Palace, the Basilica of San Francesco
di Paola, the San Carlo Opera House, the Gallery of Umberto I and
the imposing Maschio Angioino. Time for a light lunch in a typical cafe
in Naples. We will then continue towards Pompeii where, after a short
visit to a coral and cameo factory, we will visit the excavations
of this world-famous Roman town, destroyed by the eruption of the
Mt. Vesuvius in 79 A.D. Return to Rome.
After a short panoramic tour of its northern part, we will leave Rome, by the
“Sun Route” motorway. Our first stop will be in Orvieto, gorgeous medieval
small town, famous for its Cathedral. We will spend the day visiting Umbria,
rich in vineyards, olive groves and nice villages on top of the hills. The
itinerary is full of charming medieval cities: Spoleto (world-famous for the
“Festival dei Due Mondi”), Trevi, Foligno, Spello, and the most celebrated:
Assisi, the mystic city of St.Francis. The city, still surrounded by ancient walls,
lies on top of the green slopes of Mount Subasio. Its rose-stone buildings,
the winding narrow streets, the noble palaces, the balconies full of flowers:
everything in Assisi will hold you spellbound. Visit of the church of St.Mary of
the Angels and of the Basilica of St. Francis, with the masterpieces of Giotto
and Cimabue. It will be a pleasure to wander about, looking into the small
artisan shops of the old city.
