GENERAL WARNING
These instructions contain many WARNINGS. Read and
understand all of the WARNINGS. Failure to assemble and
use this accessory correctly may lead to serious personal
injury or death to your passenger.
• This Car Seat Adapter is designed to fit a Chariot
Chinook child carrier.
• For the Car Seat Adapter to be properly secured all
four quick release clips must be fully closed and the
seat strap must be buckled over the car seat. Failure
to fully close the clips and buckle the seat strap
could result in the Car Seat or the Car Seat Adapter
separating from the carrier.

1.0Converting the Car Seat Adapter
For Use On A Double Carrier

A. With a #3 Phillips screw driver remove the screws from
the front support clips. (See Image 1)
B.Place the front support clips on the spacers and place
the spacers on the car seat adapter. (See Image 2)
C. Attach the spacers and front support clips to the Car
Seat Adapter with two screws using #3 Phillips screw
driver. (See Image 3)
D. Repeat this for both front support clips.

A.Engage the parking brake on the child carrier.
B. Open all of the clips on the Car Seat Adapter.
(See Image 1)
C.Hook both of the accessory clips onto the Accessory
Cross Bar and swing the Car Seat Adapter down and
forward until the front support clips come to rest on
the upper frame. (See Image 2)
D. Close all of the clips on the Car Seat Adapter.
(See Image 3)
E.Verify that the Car Seat Adapter is securely attached to
the carrier by giving it a sharp pull away from the carrier.

F. Unfold the Car Seat Adapter. (See Image 3)
G. To remove the Car Seat Adapter, open all four clips
and lift the adapter off of the carrier.
H. To fold the carrier with the Car Seat Adapter on it,
fold the Car Seat Adapter, buckle the seat strap and
then fold the carrier. (See Image 4)
WARNING
Always verify that the Car Seat Adapter is
securely attached to the carrier, especially
after transporting the carrier in a vehicle
and folding it.

A.Engage the parking brake on the carrier. Insert the
car seat (See Image 1) with the occupant facing
toward the handlebar. The car seat should be angled
according to the car seat manufacturer’s instructions.
B. Buckle the seat strap over the car seat and pull the
strap tight. (See Image 2)
C.Verify that the car seat is securely attached to the
carrier by gently lifting up on the car seat handle.
D. To remove the car seat from the carrier, apply the
parking brake, unbuckle the seat strap, and lift the
car seat up out of the car seat adapter.
WARNING
If the car seat cannot sit at the right angle, the
car seat does not fit the adapter and cannot
be used with the Car Seat Adapter.
WARNING
Your child should always be facing you when
using the Car Seat Adapter. Never place a
car seat in the Car Seat Adapter with the child
facing forwards on the carrier.
Never leave the carrier unattended when a
child is in a car seat attached to the carrier
When using the Car Seat Adapter always
secure the child in the car seat with the car
seats manufacturer’s seatbelt.

A. Retirez les vis des attaches de soutien avant
à l'aide d'un tournevis Phillips n° 3. (Voir image 1)
B. Placez les attaches de soutien avant sur
les entretoises et placez les entretoises sur
l'adaptateur pour siège auto. (Voir image 2)
C. Attachez les entretoises et les attaches de soutien
avant à l'adaptateur pour siège auto avec deux vis
à l'aide du tournevis Phillips n° 3. (Voir image 3)
D. Répétez ce processus pour les deux attaches
de soutien avant.

Actionnez le frein de parking sur la remorque pour
enfant.
B. Ouvrez toutes les attaches sur l'adaptateur pour
siège auto. (Voir image 1)
C. Accrochez les deux attaches pour accessoire
sur la barre transversale pour accessoire et faites
pivoter l'adaptateur pour siège auto vers le bas et
l'avant jusqu'à ce que les attaches de soutien avant
s'immobilisent sur la partie supérieure du cadre.

D. Fermez toutes les attaches sur l'adaptateur pour
siège auto. (Voir image 3)
E.
Vérifiez que l'adaptateur pour siège auto est solidement
fixé à la remorque pour enfant en donnant un coup sec
dessus pour essayer de le séparer de celle-ci.
F. Dépliez l'adaptateur pour siège auto. (Voir image 3)
G. Pour retirer l'adaptateur pour siège auto, ouvrez les
quatre attaches et soulevez l'adaptateur en dehors
de la remorque.
H. Pour plier la remorque avec l'adaptateur pour siège
auto sur celle-ci, pliez l'adaptateur pour siège auto,
bouclez la sangle du siège et pliez la remorque.

MISE EN GARDE
Vérifiez toujours que l'adaptateur pour siège
auto est solidement fixé à la remorque pour
enfant, en particulier après avoir transporté
la remorque dans un véhicule et l'avoir pliée.

A.
Engager le frein de stationnement sur le
​​ Chinook.
Insérez le siège auto (voir image 1) en plaçant

B. Bouclez la sangle du siège sur le siège auto et serrez

siège auto.
D. Pour retirer le siège auto de la remorque pour enfant,
appliquer le frein de stationnement, détachez la sangle

MISE EN GARDE
Si le siège auto ne peut pas être incliné de
manière adéquate, le siège auto ne convient
pas à l'adaptateur et ne peut pas être utilisé
avec l'adaptateur pour siège auto.
MISE EN GARDE
Votre enfant doit toujours vous faire face
lors de l'utilisation de l'adaptateur pour siège
auto. Ne placez jamais un siège auto dans
l'adaptateur pour siège auto avec votre enfant
installé vers l'avant.
Ne laissez jamais la remorque sans
surveillance lorsqu'un enfant se trouve dans
un siège auto attaché à la remorque.
Lors de l'utilisation de l'adaptateur pour siège
auto, attachez toujours votre enfant au siège à
l'aide de la ceinture du fabricant des sièges auto.

fehlerhafter Montage oder Verwendung dieses Zubehörs
besteht die Gefahr schwerer oder tödlicher Verletzungen.
• Dieser Auto-Kindersitz-Adapter ist für den
Kindertransporter Chariot Chinook konzipiert.
• Der Auto-Kindersitz-Adapter ist erst dann
ordnungsgemäß befestigt, wenn alle vier
Schnellspannklammern vollständig geschlossen sind
und der Spanngurt über dem Auto-Kindersitz angelegt
ist. Wenn die Klammern nicht vollständig geschlossen
werden oder der Spanngurt nicht angelegt wird, kann
sich der Auto-Kindersitz oder der Auto-KindersitzAdapter vom Kindertransporter lösen.

A. Entfernen Sie die Schrauben der vorderen
Schnellspannklammern mit einem geeigneten
Kreuzschlitzschraubendreher (Phillips Nr. 3)
(siehe Abbildung 1).
B. Legen Sie die vorderen Schnellspannklammern auf
die Distanzstücke und bringen Sie die Distanzstücke
am Auto-Kindersitz-Adapter in Einbaulage (siehe
Abbildung 2).
C. Befestigen Sie die Distanzstücke und die vorderen
Schnellspannklammern mit zwei Schrauben am
Auto-Kindersitzsitz-Adapter (siehe Abbildung 3).
Verwenden Sie dazu einen geeigneten
Kreuzschlitzschraubendreher (Phillips Nr. 3).
D. Wiederholen Sie den Vorgang bei beiden vorderen
Schnellspannklammern.

Betätigen Sie die Feststellbremse des
Kindertransporters.
B. Öffnen Sie alle Klammern des Auto-KindersitzAdapters (siehe Abbildung 1).
C. Haken Sie beide Schnellspannklammern in den
Crossbar für Zubehör ein und schwenken Sie den
Auto-Kindersitz-Adapter nach unten und vorn,
bis die vorderen Schnellspannklammern auf dem
oberen Rahmen aufliegen (siehe Abbildung 2).
D. Schließen Sie alle Klammern des Auto-KindersitzAdapters (siehe Abbildung 3).
E. Vergewissern Sie sich, dass der Auto-KindersitzAdapter ordnungsgemäß am Kindertransporter
befestigt ist, indem Sie ihn kräftig vom Transporter
wegziehen.

F.
Klappen Sie den Auto-Kindersitz-Adapter aus (siehe
Abbildung 3).
G. Um den Auto-Kindersitz-Adapter auszubauen, öffnen
Sie alle vier Klammern und heben den Adapter vom
Kindertransporter ab.
H. Um den Kindertransporter bei montiertem AutoKindersitz-Adapter zusammenzuklappen, klappen
Sie zunächst den Auto-Kindersitz-Adapter ein, legen
den Sitzgurt an und falten dann den Transporter
(siehe Abbildung 4).
WARNUNG
Vergewissern Sie sich stets, dass der AutoKindersitz-Adapter ordnungsgemäß am
Kindertransporter befestigt ist. Dies gilt vor
allem für den Fall, dass der Kindertransporter
in einem Fahrzeug mitgeführt wurde und
eingeklappt war.

A. Die Feststellbremse auf der Chinook. Setzen Sie
den Auto-Kindersitz (siehe Abbildung 1) so ein,
dass das Kind in Richtung Schiebebügel schaut.
Der Neigungswinkel des Auto-Kindersitzes muss
den Vorgaben des Auto-Kindersitzherstellers
entsprechen.
B. Legen Sie den Sitzgurt über dem Auto-Kindersitz an
und ziehen Sie den Gurt stramm (siehe Abbildung 2).
C. Vergewissern Sie sich, dass der Auto-Kindersitz
ordnungsgemäß am Kindertransporter befestigt ist,
indem Sie den Auto-Kindersitz am Griff behutsam
nach oben ziehen.
D. Um den Auto-Kindersitz vom Transporter zu trennen,
anwenden die Feststellbremse, lösen Sie den
Sitzgurt und heben den Auto-Kindersitz aus dem
Auto-Kindersitz-Adapter heraus.

WARNUNG
Wenn der Auto-Kindersitz nicht im
vorgeschriebenen Neigungswinkel montiert
werden kann, passt er nicht auf den Adapter
und ist somit nicht dafür geeignet.
WARNUNG
Bei Verwendung des Auto-KindersitzAdapters muss das Kind immer in Ihre
Richtung schauen. Befestigen Sie den
Auto-Kindersitz auf keinen Fall so am
Auto-Kindersitz-Adapter, dass das Kind im
Kindertransporter nach vorn schaut.
Lassen Sie den Kindertransporter niemals
unbeaufsichtigt, wenn ein Kind in dem am
Transporter befestigten Auto-Kindersitz sitzt.
Schnallen Sie das Kind im Auto-Kindersitz
stets mit dem Sicherheitsgurt des AutoKindersitzherstellers an, wenn Sie den
Auto‑Kindersitz-Adapter verwenden.
