Internationale
Wohngemeinschaft ist
gelungen!
Was war
eigentlich der
bewegenste
Moment in diesen zehn Tagen, die wir als Internationale
Wohngemeinschaft zusammen gelebt haben? War es, als wir
uns in einer Abendandacht, nachdem wir schon ein paar Tage
zusammen gewesen waren, gegenseitig davon erzählten
wofür wir Gott dankbar sind? Und viele von uns sagten: Für
genau diese Gemeinschaft, die wir gerade erleben durften.
Für mich jedenfalls war das zweifellos der intensivste
Moment während dieser internationalen Woche. Ein
Moment, in dem der ganze Vorbereitungsstress im Vorfeld
bedeutungslos wurde angesichts des Geschenks, diese
weltweite ökumenische Gemeinschaft mitgestalten zu
dürfen.

Aber vielleicht mal von vorne.
Was ist das eigentlich, die Internationale
Wohngemeinschaft?
Es ist ein Kooperationsprojekt, das in der
Hannoverschen Landeskirche vom ELM
Hermannsburg, dem Landesjugendpfarramt und
einigen Kreisjugenddiensten gemeinsam initiiert
und nun schon zum zweiten Mal erfolgreich
durchgeführt werden konnte.
Deutsche und ausländische junge Leute aus den
ökumenischen Partnerschaften und aus den
internationalen Begegnungen wurden
eingeladen, knapp eineinhalb Wochen
miteinander zu leben, zu arbeiten und zu feiern.
In diesem Jahr kamen die Gäste aus Brasilien,
Honduras, Lettland, Südafrika und Deutschland.
Partnerschaftsgruppen und Kreisjugenddiensten aus
verschiedenen Teilen unserer Landeskirche war es wieder
gelungen, junge Erwachsene aus ihren Partnerländern
einzuladen, so dass sie an der Internationalen
Wohngemeinschaft teilnehmen konnten. Die deutschen
Jugendlichen kamen zusammen mit ihren ausländischen
Gästen, darüber hinaus waren auch andere interessierte
junge Leute dabei.
Mit unseren Gästen aus Lettland war zum ersten Mal auch
Osteuropa vertreten, aus allen vier Himmelsrichtungen waren
wir nun zusammen gekommen. So war es gedacht und so
wollen wir es auch in Zukunft weiter versuchen. Das
jedenfalls hat das Team, das die Internationale WG
verantwortet, sich vorgenommen.
Wie schon vor zwei Jahren, verbrachten wir die Woche
gemeinsam im Anti-Kriegshaus in Sievershausen und auch
diesmal lag der Termin im Vorfeld des Landesjugendcamps
der Ev. Jugend im Sachsenhain in Verden.
Das hatte den großen Vorteil, dass die Teilnehmenden das,
was sie erarbeitet hatten, mit einbringen konnten
in das so genannte „Global Village“. Zum dritten
Mal schon war dieses Global Village ein Teil des
Landesjugendcamps. In ihm geht es darum, die
globalen Aspekte des jeweiligen Campthemas ins
Spiel zu bringen.
In diesem Jahr lautete das Motto des
Landesjugendcamps „Die Zeit (b)rennt!“ Und so
war die „Zeit“ auch das Thema in der
Internationalen Wohngemeinschaft. Sehr schnell
wurde deutlich, dass das Thema Zeitnot und
Stress nicht nur ein westliches Phänomen ist,
sondern weltweit als Problem erlebt wird. So
passte es sehr gut in unsere internationale
Gruppe.
Aus der Beschäftigung mit dem Thema „Zeit“
entstanden Programmpunkte, die wir gut in das
Global Village einbringen konnten.
Global ecumenical community:
two successful International Youth
Communities!
What was the most moving moment in
these ten days, which we spent together
as an international community? Was it,
after an evening devotion, when we were
already a few days together that we
shared what we are thankful for to God?
Many of us said, they were thankful for
exactly this community that they were
privileged to experience. For it was
without doubt the most intense moment
during this international community. It
was a moment where all the preparation
stress lost significance, in the face of this
gift, to be part of the preparations of the
world-wide ecumenical community.
But let us start from the beginning?
What is this thing, the ecumenical
international community?
It is cooperative project of the Church of
Hanover, the ELM Hermannsburg, the
'Landesjugendpfarramt' and some Circuit
Youth Workers. It was initiated by them
and was already carried out successfully
for the second time.
Young German and foreign people from
the ecumenical partnerships and from
international youth movement were
invited, to live together, work together
and celebrate together for just over a
week.
In this year the visitors came from Brazil,
Honduras, Latvia, South Africa and
Germany. Diverse partnership groups and
youth workers from our church once
again successfully invited young adults
from their partner countries, so that they

could partake in the International Youth
Community. The German youth came
together with their foreign visitors and
this time we also had other interested
youth participating.
With our visitors from Latvia, we had for
the first time representatives from East
Europe . We had representatives from all
four cardinal points. This was the plan
and this is the way we would want to
keep it for the future. This is the task that
the preparation team, which accounts for
the IYC, has set out.
As two year ago, we spent the week
together in the Anti-War House in
Sievershausen and again the week was
before the big 'Landesjugendcamp', the
Youth Camp of the Church of Hanover in
Sachsenhein at Verden.
The big advantage is that the participants
can display/portray what they have done
during the week at the so called “Global
Village”. For the third time now the Global
Village has been part of the Youth Camp.
The villages seeks to portray global
perspectives of the current camp theme.
For this year the theme was “Die Zeit
(b)rennt!” (Time is Burma/running) As
such time was also a theme for the IYC. It
very quickly became apparent that time
and time stress not only was is western
phenomena. It is experienced globally. As
such it fitted very well to our
international group.

¿Cuál fue el momento mas
conmovedor en estos diez días que
hemos vivido como una comunidad
internacional juntos? Fue cuando nos
encontramos en un devocional en la
tarde hablando acerca de lo que le
estamos agradecidos a Dios, después
de haber estado juntos durante
algunos días? Esa tarde muchos le
dimos gracias a Dios por la
comunidad que habiamos tenido en
la semana internacional. Para mí, este
fue sin duda el momento más intenso
durante esta semana internacional.
Un momento en el que la tensión de
toda la preparación no pesaba en
comparación al regalo de poder
trabajar comunion ecuménica
mundial que tuvimos durante el
campamento.
Empezemos desde el principio:
¿Qué es eso, de la semana
internacional?
Se trata de un proyecto de
cooperación que fue iniciado en la
Iglesia de Hannover del ELM
Hermannsburg, parroquia juvenil del
país, los jóvenes y algunos servicios
para la juventud de la región. Esta fue
la segunda vez que pudimos llevar a
cabo con mucho éxito el campamento
internacional.
Jóvenes alemanes y extranjeros de las
colaboraciónes ecuménicas
internacionales de las iglesias fueron
invitados a vivir unos con otros poco
menos de una semana y media para
vivir, trabajar y celebrar juntos.
Este año los invitados vinieron de
Brasil, Honduras, Letonia, Sudáfrica y
Alemania. A los grupos de
colaboración y los servicios locales de
jóvenes de diferentes partes de
nuestra iglesia lograron una vez más
que jóvenes adultos de los países en
colaboración vinieran para que
pudieran participar en la semana
internacional ecuménica. Los jóvenes
alemanes se reunieron con sus
invitados extranjeros pero también
nos visitaron otros jóvenes
interesados.
Con nuestros invitados de Letonia por
primera vez Europa oriental estuvo
representada. De todos los rincones
del mundo nos habíamos reunido.
Eso es lo que queriamos hacer y así es
como lo queremos seguir haciendo
en el futuro. Esto es lo que el equipo
que se encarga de la semana
internacional ecuménica es lo que se
propuso.
Ökumenische Gemeinschaft weltweit:
Die drei Pagoden, die dort als
unser Global
Village auf dem
Landesjugendcampgelände
standen, waren
nicht nur schön
anzusehen,
sondern oft schön anzuhören, weil unsere südafrikanischen
Gäste ihre Trommeln dabei hatten und Jugendliche einluden, das Trommeln einmal selber auszuprobieren, wovon
reichlich Gebrauch gemacht wurde. Aber nicht nur Trommeln wurde im Global Village angeboten.
Drei weitere Angebote liefen die ganze Zeit über:
1. Eine Ausstellung von kreativ gestalteten Stühlen zum
Thema: Zwischen den Stühlen – zwischen den Kulturen.
Junge Leute, die einen Freiwilligendienst in Afrika, Indien
oder Südamerika gemacht hatten, hatten ihre spannenden,
aber auch irritierenden Erfahrungen in der Gestaltung von
Stühlen ausgedrückt.
2. Ein riesiges Würfelbrettspiel, genannt „Geschwindigkeit
verhext die Welt“ lud ein, auszuprobieren welche Auswirkungen es hat, wenn wir Dinge langsam oder schnell tun. Es
sollte deutlich machen, dass Hochgeschwindigkeit ökologisch unverträglich ist.
3. An einer Weltkarte konnten Jugendliche Fäden spannen
zu den Orten auf der Welt, wo sie Menschen kannten. Im
Laufe des Camps entstand so ein erstaunlich dichtes Netz
von Fäden.

Am Samstagvormittag boten wir eine Bibelarbeit an zum
Thema „Sonntags ohne shoppen. Öde, oder?“ Mit Gesang
und Theaterelementen zogen wir im Lauf der Bibelarbeit
immer mehr Publikum an. Offenbar konnten wir uns verständlich machen, denn ein Konfirmand sagte nach der
Bibelarbeit, das sei „echt cool“ gewesen.
Nachmittags gab es neben den durchlaufenden Angeboten
noch einen Stand zum Thema „Auswege aus dem Hunger?“
Dort wurde am Beispiel Nicaraguas gezeigt, wie schwierig
und kompliziert Lösungen für dieses Problem zu finden sind,
aber auch, was wir selber zu solchen Lösungen beitragen
können.
Der zweite Stand wurde von Brot für die Welt angeboten.
Bei ihm ging es um die Frage, was uns zukunftsfähig macht.
An den Abenden versammelten wir uns mit in unserem
Global Village zu Tagesschlussandachten, zu denen eine
ganze Reihe von jungen Leuten kamen, die uns den Tag über
kennen gelernt hatten.
Als Mitglieder der Internationalen Wohngemeinschaft
hatten wir so eine Verbindung geschaffen zum Landesjugendcamp. Wir ließen die Jugendlichen teilhaben an den
Erkenntnissen, die wir während der Woche in Sievershausen
gewonnen hatten. Dadurch verschafften wir der Idee der
Internationalen WG gleichzeitig auf vorteilhafte Weise
Öffentlichkeit und machten die Jugendlichen neugierig auf
die Welt.
Intensive Diskussionen auf hohem Niveau zu verschiedenen
Bereichen des Glaubens, der Politik, aber auch der persönlichen Belange; viel gemeinsames Singen, Trommeln, Gitarre
spielen, schöne gemeinsame Andachten, das Spiel mit
unseren verschiedenen Sprachen, herrlichstes Geblödel und
viel Lachen und Spaß: Aus diesen Elementen setze sich
unsere gemeinsame Zeit zusammen. Ökumenisches Lernen
in Reinform ereignete sich dabei für alle Beteiligten und wir
gingen klüger nach Hause, als wir gekommen waren.
Das wollen wir unbedingt noch oft erleben in weiteren
Internationalen Wohngemeinschaften.
Wir versprechen uns davon neue Impulse für die Partnerschaftsarbeit und wachsendes ökumenisches Bewusstsein
unter jungen Leuten.

Global ecumenical community:
The three tents, which stood as our Global
Village on the terrain of the Youth Camp,
were not only beautiful to watch, but also
beautiful to listen to, becaue our South
African visitors had their drums with and
invited young people to try drumming. This
offer was made us of extensively. But we not
only had to offer drumming as the Global
Village:
1. A display of creativelyydesignedddd chairs
could be watched, under the theme:
“Zwischen den Stühlen – zwischen den
Kulturen.” Between the chairs – between the
cultures. Young people who had their
voluntary year in Africa, India or South
America, expressed their fascinating and
irritating experiences through this form.
2. A huge dice game, called “Speed
bewitches the World!” invited participants to
check out what consequences emanate,
when things are done slowly or fast. It should
indicate that high speed is ecologically not
sustainable.
3. On a world atlas, young people could bind
threads and indicate where in the world they
knew people. During the camp a tight
network of strings came to being.
On Saturday morning we presented a Bible
Study to the theme “Sunday without
shopping – boring or?” With songs and
theatre elements, more and more people got
attracted to attend the Bible Study.
Apparently we were able to express
ourselves, as a confirmant said after the
Bible Study “this was really cool”.
In the afternoon besides the
running/continuous activities, there was a
stand “Auswege aus dem Hunger?”
“Possibilities away from Hunger?” Through
an example from Nicaragua, it was shown
how difficult and complicated the solutions
to this problem were, but also what the
participants themselves could contribute
towards finding solutions.
Comunidad ecuménico en todo el Mundo:
The second stand was offered by 'Brot für die
Welt' and KED. Here the theme was what
makes us prepared for the future.
In the evenings we gathered as the Global
Village for evening devotions with many
young people who came to know us during
the day.
As members of the IYC we had developed a
connection to the camp. The young people
could indulge in our experiences and insights
we had gained at Sievershausen. Through
this we at the same time promoted the
notion of the Global Village and made the
young people eager to know about the
world.
Intense discussions on a high level to
different topics of faith, politics and own
personal issues; a lot of singing together,
drumming, guitar, nice evening devotions
and playing with our different languages, the
most beautiful fooling around and a lot of
laughing and fun – all these elements made
up our time together. Ecumenical learning in
its pure form was made possible for all the
participants and all of us went home more
enlightened than we came.
This we want to surely experience more in
other forthcoming IYC. We hope to get new
ideas for partnership work and growing
ecumenical consciousness amongst young
people.

campamento juvenil. No solamente se veían bien,
sino tambien a menudo se escuchaba música
hermosa, porque nuestros participantes de
Suráfrica habían traído sus tambores e
invitaban a jóvenes a intentar a hacer música
junto con ellos.
Pero los tambores no fue la única actividad
que teníamos en la Aldea Global.
Durante todo el campamento ofrecimos estas
actividades:
1. una exposición de sillas con diseños
creativos sobre el tema: “entre las culturas”.
Los jóvenes que habían hecho un servicio
voluntario en África, India o América del Sur,
habían expresado sus experiencias emocionantes, pero también preocupantes en el
diseño de estas sillas.
2. Un gran juego de dados llamado "La
velocidad embruja al planeta” invitaba a
probar, la influencia que tiene el decidir hacer
cosas de forma rápida o lenta.
El juego demostraba que vivir de forma rápida
es un problema para la ecología.
3. En un mapa mundial los jóvenes clavaron
clavos en el lugar donde viven y tambien en
los lugares en los cuales tienen amigos
uniendolos con hilos. A lo largo de todo el
campamento se creo así una red muy densa
de hilos cubriendo gran parte del globo.
En la mañana del sábado se ofreció un estudio
de la Biblia con el tema "Domingo sin
compras, ¿Daría pereza o no? ". Con los
elementos vocales y teatrales, se acercó cada
vez mas audiencia al estudio. Obviamente
pudimos hacernos entender, porque un
candidato a la confirmación, dijo después del
estudio de la Biblia, que estuvo SUPER.
Por la tarde, se hizo una exposición con el
tema "Formas de erradicar el hambre". Alli se
mostró el ejemplo de Nicaragua y cuan difícil
y complicado es llegar a soluciones de este
problema. Pero también se habló de lo que
nosotros mismos podemos contribuir a esas
soluciones.
La segunda exposición fue de “Pan para el
mundo”. Esta consistió en responder la
cusetión de lo que nos hace sostenibles.
Por la noche nos reunimos en la Aldea Global
para un devocional de fin de día, a la que un
número de jóvenes vinieron que habiamos
conocido durante el dia.
Como miembros del campamento de la
semana internacional de esta forma
entablamos una conexión con el campamento juvenil regional. Pudimos compartir
conalgunos de los jóvenes lo que habíamos
aprendido durante la semana en Sievershausen. De esta forma, incentivamos la idea de
la semana internacional y al mismo tiempo
motivamos a jóvenes a interesarse mas por
otros países.
Intensivas discusiones de alto nivel sobre
diversas áreas de la fe, política, pero también
sobre cuestiones personales, cantando
mucho con el grupo.Los tambores, la
guitarra, los devocionales, los juegos en
nuestras diferentes lenguas, el relajo,un
montón de risas y diversión: estos elementos
llenaron nuestro tiempo. Aprendizaje
ecuménico en su forma pura y nos fuimos a
casa más sabios de lo que habíamos venido.
Esto es lo que queremos repetir en forma de
las siguientes semanas internacionales.
Esperamos que este nuevo impulso lleve a
mas trabajo en colaboración y a una
creciente conciencia ecuménica entre los
jóvenes.

Nachmittag die
Internationale
Woche in
Sievershausen mit
der Anreise der
Teilnehmenden,
die von den
Mitarbeitenden schon ungeduldig erwartet wurden.
„Als wir ankamen, waren viele der anderen Teilnehmenden
schon da. Ich erinnere mich an eine sehr herzliche
Begrüßung. Es wurden Witze gemacht und viel gelacht. Das
waren wirklich sehr schöne erste Eindrücke. Die größte
Überraschung für mich war, dass wir mit einem der
Teilnehmenden – Simon aus Deutschland – schon im selben
Flugzeug nach Deutschland geflogen sind. Simon hat mich
an meinem T-Shirt wieder erkannt. Gott gestaltet unser
Leben wirklich spannend und voller Überraschungen.
Unser Camp begann dann mit einem leckeren Essen (vielen
Dank an das Küchenteam!), bei dem schon ein erstes
Kennenlernen stattfand. Anschließend hatten wir unseren
ersten offiziellen Programmpunkt: einen Kennenlernabend
mit Henning, bei dem alle sich selbst und ihre jeweiligen
Länder vorstellten. Die meisten Teilnehmenden kamen aus

Deutschland und Südafrika, aber auch Honduras und
Brasilien waren vertreten. Für mich sind das sehr exotische
Länder, deren Bewohner ich bis dahin nur im Fernsehen
gesehen hatte – es war also sehr interessant, sie nun „live“
zu erleben. Eine andere spannende Sache war das
Aussprechen der Namen! Aber wer weiß, vielleicht
bekommen wir es ja bis zum Ende des Camps hin, alle
Namen richtig auszusprechen. Wir werden sehen! Ein
weiterer Teil des Abends bestand darin, in Zweiergruppen
zusammen zu arbeiten und sich gegenseitig das jeweils
eigene Land vorzustellen. Die Herausforderung bestand dann
darin, später im Plenum nicht das eigene Land, sondern das
des Partners/ der Partnerin vorzustellen. Ich habe mit Ingrid
aus Deutschland zusammen gearbeitet. Mir hat diese
Aufgabe Spass gemacht, denn dadurch konnte ich Ingrid
besser kennen lernen und ich freue mich auch schon darauf,
andere Teilnehmende besser kennen zu lernen. Wir haben
den Abend mit
einer Andacht in der Kirche
beendet.
Anschließend gab´s noch
ein nettes
Beisammensein, bei dem
viel
gesungen wurde. Ich
danke Gott für die
Gelegenheit, hier zu sein
und so tolle Menschen
kennen zu lernen.“ –

On 28th May 2010 in the afternoon
the International Week started in
Sievershausen, with the arrival of the
participants who were expected
eagerly by the team
When we arrived, many of the
participants were already there. I
recall a very hearty greeting. Jokes
were made and lots of laughter. This
were really nice first impressions. A
surprise for me was that we were
with one of the participants on one
plane – Simon from Germany. Simon
recognised the t-shirt I was wearing.
God constructs our lives in a
fascinating way, full of surprises.
Our camp started with a nice meal
(thanks a lot to the kitchen team!),
where already the first getting to
know each other was done.
Thereafter we has our first official
program: a getting to each
other evening with
Henning. Everyone
introduced themselves and
their countries. Most of the
participants came from
Germany and South Africa.
But there were also
participants from
Honduras and Brazil. For
me these are very exotic
countries, whose people I
had only seen on TV. It was
very interesting to see
them now 'live'. Another
interesting things was the

pronunciation of the names! But who
knows, maybe by the end of the camp
we will manage to pronounce the
names correctly. We shall see!
Another part of the evening was the
work in groups of two so that we
could each introduce to the other his
or her own country. The challenge
was that later in the plenum, we
introduce the others country and not
our own. I worked together with
Ingrid from Germany. This exercise
was a lot of fun for me, because I was
able to learn more about Ingrid and I
look forward to learn more about
other participants. We closed the
evening with an devotion at the
church. Thereafter we had a nice
come together, where there was lots
of singing. I thank God for the
opportunity to be here and to meet so

Este dia en la tarde comenzó la
semana internacional en
Sievershausen con la llegada de los
participantes. Los cuales los
organizadores estaban impacientes
por conocer.
"Cuando llegamos, muchos de los
participantes ya estaban allí. Me
acuerdo que fue cálida bienvenida. Se
hacían bromas y se reía mucho. Las
primeras impresiones realmente
fueron muy hermosas. La mayor
sorpresa para mí fue que uno de los
participantes había volado en el
mismo avión que yo rumbo a
Alemania – Simón (de Alemania).
Simón me reconoció porque llevaba
puesta la misma camiseta. Dios hizo
la vida muy emocionante y llena de
sorpresas.
Nuestro campamento comenzó con
una deliciosa comida (gracias a los
cocineros!), allí los participantes nos
empezamos a conocer. Luego
tuvimos nuestro primer punto
del programa oficial: una
tarde introductoria con
Henning, en la que todos se
presentaron a si mismos y a
sus respectivos países. La
mayoría de los participantes
procedían de Alemania y
Sudáfrica, pero también
Honduras y Brasil estuvieron
representados. Para mí, estos
últimos países son muy
exótics, cuyas personas solo
habia visto en la televisión hasta
ahora – asi que fue muy interesante,
verlos en vivo. Otra cosa interesante
fue la pronunciación de los nombres!
Pero quién sabe, tal vez hasta el fin
del campamento aprendamos a
pronunciar todos los nombres
correctamente. Vamos a ver! Otra
parte de la noche fue un trabajo en
parejas para presentar su propio país
a los demás. Lo difícil era entonces
presentar el país de la otra persona
en vez de presentar el propio. Estuve
con Ingrid de Alemania en un grupo.
Fue muy divertido, porque que yo
pude conocer mejor a Ingrid y estoy
con muchas ganas de conocer a los
otros participantes mejor.
Terminamos la noche con una
reflexión en la iglesia. Después
estuvimos juntos y cantamos mucho.

„Heute war ein spannender Tag! Das komplette
Tagesprogramm drehte sich um „Zeit“. Wir haben uns
darüber ausgetauscht, was „Zeit“ für uns Einzelne, aber auch
für uns in unseren jeweiligen Ländern bedeutet und wie Zeit
dort genutzt wird. Ich habe im Laufe dieser Diskussion
gelernt, dass Zeit wirklich mehr ist als nur die Zeitmessung
selbst; nämlich eine ganze Welt von Möglichkeiten!
Am Nachmittag haben wir auch an einem Theater- und
Trommel Workshop teilgenommen, zu dem auch
Namensspiele gehörten, bei denen wir uns auf eine
persönliche Weise begegnen konnten. In den Workshops
haben wir richtig gute Ideen zum Thema „Zeit“ entwickelt.
Abends haben wir Lieder aus unseren verschiedenen Ländern
gesungen und das Programm mit einer ansprechenden und
anregenden Andacht beendet.

„Today was an interesting day! The
whole programme dealt with 'time'.
We had exchanges about it what
'time' meant for each of us and in our
different countries and how times is
used there. I have learnt during this
discussion that time is really more
than measuring the time unit. Time is
a whole world of possibilities.
In the afternoon we participated in a
theatre and drum workshops, which
were combined name games, where
we could interact in a very special
way. In these workshops we
developed really some great ideas
about the 'time' theme. In the

Das Vormittagsprogramm
begann mit einer
Bibelarbeit zum
Thema „Zeit“

Kiefer. Am
Nachmittag
wurde in den Workshops weiter geprobt, weil die Kirchengemeinde Sievershauen zu einem geselligen Abend erwartet
wurde!
„Wir haben als Chor einige Lieder präsentiert und ein
Theaterstück sowie eine Trommelpräsentation vorgeführt.
Als einen Teil des Theaterworkshops haben wir Spiele
gespielt. Die haben mir wirklich Spass gemacht. Diese Spiele
verlangten eine hohe Konzentration und die Bereitschaft, als
Team zusammen zu arbeiten.
Dafür hatten wir hervorragende Lehrer (Linda Michael und
Patience), die wirklich hart gearbeitet haben, um uns alles
beizubringen, was wir können müssen. Das Wichtigste, dass
ich für mich bei all dem gelernt habe ist, dass es sehr, sehr
wichtig ist, als Team zusammen zu arbeiten. Uns wurde
beigebracht, aufeinander zu hören (das ist eine besondere
Herausforderung, wenn man unterschiedliche Sprachen
spricht). Für mich war es manchmal schwierig, mich zu
entspannen und nicht darüber nachzudenken, dass ich beim
Trommeln Fehler machen könnte.“ – Kristaps (Lettland)
Es lohnt sich bei der Internationalen WG
mitzumachen, weil es viel Spaß macht,
sich mit anderen Menschen, Kulturen,
Ländern auseinanderzusetzen. Es ist
erstaunlich, wie gut man sich mit
Händen, Füßen und ein bisschen
Englisch unterhalten kann und im Notfall
helfen einem die Dolmetscher.
It‘s worth attending the international Week, because it‘s
fun to meet people from different countries and
cultures. It‘s amazing to see how good you can talk with
hands, foots and a bit english. In the case of need the
interpreter will help you.
Vale la pena ser parte de la semana internacional porque
es muy divertido pasar tiempo con personas de otras
culturea y países.
Es impresionante cuan bien uno se puede comunicar con
las manos los pies y un poco de ingles. En casos de
emergancia siempre tuvimos a un intérprete.

The morning program began with a
bible study to the theme 'time'

more practice was done as the
congregation of Sievershausen was
expected for a nice evening.

songs, a theatre piece as well as a
drumming item. As part of the
theatre workshop, we played
some games. I really had fun
with those. These games

to work together as a team.

El programa de la mañana comenzó
con un estudio de la Biblia sobre el
tema "Tiempo" por el Superior
Regional de Iglesias Rainer Kiefer. Por
la tarde, en los talleres continuamos
ensayando, porque la iglesia de
Sievershasusen esperaba nuestras
participaciones!
"Presentamos un par de canciones
como coro y realizamos una obra de
teatro como tambien una
presentación de tambor. Como parte
del taller de teatro, jugamos algunos
juegos. Realmente fueron divertidos.
Estos juegos requirieron una alta
concentración y la voluntad de
trabajar juntos como un equipo.
Para ello, tuvimos excelentes
maestros (Linda Michael y Pacience),
que trabajaron muy duro para
enseñarnos todo lo que teníamos que
saber. Lo más importante que aprendí
para mí mismo en todo esto, es: que

„Heute
Vormittag haben
wir über unsere
persönliche Uhr
bzw. über unsere
persönliche
Zeitvorstellung
gesprochen. Wir
sollten „die
perfekte Uhr“ für uns auf einem Stuhl in einer Ausstellung
präsentieren und dabei erzählen, was wir mit Zeit verbinden,
welche Zeiten uns wichtig sind und wie die perfekte Uhr für
uns aussehen müsste. Dafür hatten wir 40 Minuten Zeit.
Nach dem Mittagessen gings mit den Autos zum Bahnhof
und von da weiter per Zug nach Braunschweig und
schließlich mit dem Bus zur Besichtigung der Atomuhr. Dort
hat uns jemand von der PTB (Physikalisch-technische
Bundesanstalt) erklärt, wie die Atomuhr funktioniert und
was ihre Aufgabe ist. Aber um ehrlich zu sein: Wir haben nur
wenig verstanden. Was wir verstanden haben ist, dass es
sich um eine Uhr handelt, die die Zeit sehr genau anzeigt. ...
Anschließend sind wir zum Bahnhof zurück gefahren, wo wir
eine halbe Stunde Zeit hatten, die einige für einen Kaffee
oder einen Döner genutzt haben.
Zum Abendessen haben wir gegrillt. Andrea und Gabriela
haben die Abendandacht zum Thema „Freundschaft“
gestaltet. Teil ihrer Andacht war eine Aktion, die wir erst in
zwei oder drei Tagen auflösen werden: Jeder und jede zieht
verdeckt einen Namen (von einer Person aus der Gruppe)
und hat nun die Aufgabe, für diese Person eine persönliche
Botschaft zu schreiben.“ – Ronja und Ramona (Deutschland)
Dass Gott unser Vater uns
segnet und seinen Segen über
dieses Camp bringe. Denn
ganz egal welcher Rasse oder
Farbe, wir sind alle Brüder.

„This morning we spoke about our
personal watch and our personal
perception of time. We had to design
the 'perfect watch' and present it on
a chair during an exhibition and share
what we associate with time, which
times are important for us and how
the perfect watch had to look like for
us. We had 40 minutes time.
After lunch we drove with the cars to
the train station and drover further to
Braunschweig per train to finally
catch a bus to see the atomic watch.
There somebody from the PTB
(Physikalisch-technische
Bundesanstal/ Federal PhysicalTechnical Institute) explained to us
how the atomic watch functions and
what its functions are. But to be
honest, we understood only a little
bit. What we understood was that it
was about a watch that keeps time

station, where we had half an hours
time, which some used to get a coffee
or a Döner. We had baberque for
supper. Andrea and Gabriela held the
devotion around the theme of
friendship. Part of their devotion was
an activity that we were only able to
do in two or three days to come –
everyone drew secretly a name of a
person from the group and had the
duty to
write a
personal
message
for that
person. –

"Esta mañana hablamos sobre
nuestro reloj interno, o sea, sobre
nuestros pensamientos personales
sobre lo que es el tiempo. Tuvimos 40
minutos para preparar una escena en
una silla que mostrara lo que es el
reloj perfecto para cada uno de
nosotros. Despues lo presentamos al
grupo y relatamos lo que nosotros
pensamos en cuanto a lo que es el
tiempo.
Después del almuerzo nos fuimos con
los carros a la estación de trenes y de
allí cojímos el tren a Brunswick. Luego
fuimos en autobús a visitar el reloj
atómico. Allí hubo alguien de la PTB
(Physikalisch-Technische
Bundesanstalt) que nos explicó cómo
el reloj atómico funcionaba y cuál era
su trabajo. Pero para ser honestos, no
comprendimos mucho. Lo que si
entendimos fue, que se trata de un
reloj que muestra la
hora con gran
precisión. ... Después
volvimos a la estación
donde tuvimos un
tiempo de media hora
esperando, algunos
fueron a tomar un café
o un comer un kebab.
Para la cena tuvimos
una parrillada. Andrea
y Gabriela hicieron el
devocional por la
noche sobre el tema de
la amistad. Parte de su
devocional era una actividad en la
cual cada uno cojía papel con un
nombre (de una persona del grupo) y
ahora teniamos la tarea de escribir un
mensaje personal para esa persona.
Despues de 2 o 3 días se revelaba
quien le había escrito a quien. "-.

„Heute war der
erste Tag im Juni
– der erste
Sommermonat.
Und der heutige
Tag war wirklich
ein Sommertag.
Der erste richtige
Sonnentag in
unserer Woche!!! Danke Herr!! Wir haben einen Ausflug
nach Hannover gemacht. Dort hatten wir Freizeit, um die
Stadt anzuschauen, Einkäufe zu erledigen ... .Elina, Simon,
Adrian, Besy und ich waren gemeinsam unterwegs. Wir
haben uns Kirchen und Buchläden angesehen. Es war eine
gute Gelegenheit für mich, mehr Spanisch zu lernen (es ist
eigentlich eine recht leichte Sprache). Erstaunlicherweise hat
die ganze Gruppe während der Woche eifrig Spanisch
gelernt und viele Gespräche liefen in einem lustigen Spanisch-Englisch-Gemisch ab.
Am Nachmittag hatten wir in Sievershauen Gäste: Hans
Mehnert, ehemaliger Mitarbeiter des ELM, der als Spanischübersetzer einsprang und die Landesjugendpastorin Cornelia
Dassler. Anschließend gab es einen Vortrag von Hannelore
Köhler zum Thema „Zeit“. Wir haben also einige Anregungen
zum Nachdenken bekommen.“ – Kristaps (Lettland)

Und wir konnten gleich mal erleben, wie unterschiedlich mit
„Zeit“ umgegangen wird. Einer der Teilnehmenden aus
Südafrika war nicht zur verabredeten Zeit am Treffpunkt in
Hannover, da er noch nicht mit dem Einkauf fertig war.
Warum auch, schließlich kann man ja auch einfach einen
späteren Zug nehmen, oder?

„Today was the first day of July – the
first summer day. The day really was a
summer day. The first real sunny day
in the week !!! Thank you Lord!! We
made an excursion to Hanover. There
we had time to stroll in the city, do
some shopping … Elina, Simon,
Adrian, Beys and I walked together.
We looked at churches and book
shops. It was a good opportunity for
me to learn more Spanish (it is in fact
quite an easy language) Amazingly
the group had during the week
eagerly learned Spanish and many
conversation were in a funny mix of
Spanish and English. IN the afternoon
we had visitors in Sievershausen:

Hannelore Köhler to the topic of time.
We had received some thoughts to

And we could experience how
different we dealt with 'time'. One of
the participants from South Africa,
did not show up at the agreed time at
the meeting point in Hanover. Why, if
one can take a later train, or?
Nos dimos cuenta , cuán diferente es
la manera de ver el "tiempo". Uno de
los participantes de Sudáfrica no fue a
la hora designada al punto de reunión
en Hannover para regresar a Sievershausen, ya que no había terminado
con las compras. ¿Y por qué habría de
venir a la hora designada, si uno
simplemente puede tomar otro tren,
una hora más tarde?
"Hoy fue el primer día de junio - el
primer mes de verano. Y hoy fue
realmente un día de verano. El primer
día lleno de sol en esta semana!
¡Gracias Señor! Hicimos un viaje a
Hannover. Donde tuvimos tiempo
libre para ver la ciudad y para hacer
compras ... . Elina, Simón, Adrián,
besy y yo estábamos juntos. Vimos las
iglesias y las librerías. Era una buena
oportunidad para mí para aprender
más español (en realidad es un
lenguaje bastante fácil). Sorprendentemente, todo el grupo durante la
semana aprendió un poco de español
y muchas conversaciones eran una
mezcla divertida de español e inglés.
Por la tarde tuvimos visitas en
Sievershausen: Hans Mehnert, uno de
los antiguos empleados del ELM,
intervino como traductor al español
para la Pastora regional de jovenes
Cornelia Dassler. Luego hubo una
charla de Hannelore Koehler sobre el
tema tiempo. Así tuvimos un algo en
lo que podiamos meditar un poco más

Im Mittelpunkt
des Vormittages
stand die
Vorbereitung für
das Landesjugendcamp in
Verden. Damit alle
eine Ahnung
davon bekommen
konnten, wie ein Jugendcamp mit 2000 Jugendlichen
ablaufen kann, gab es zur Einstimmung ein Video über das
letzte Landesjugendcamp. Die Teilnehmenden der Internationalen WG sollten als „Global Village“ am Landesjugendcamp teilnehmen und das Programm mit gestalten. Also
wurde unter Anleitung von Michael und Patience ein
Theaterstück für die Bibelarbeit zum Thema „Zeit“ erarbeitet.
Auch am Nachmittag wurde zum Thema „Zeit“ weitergearbeitet.
Um besser verstehen zu können, wer wir sind, müssen
andere auch wissen, woher wir kommen. Denn wir sind
nicht nur Individuen, sondern - ob wir wollen oder nicht eben auch entweder Südafrikaner oder Deutsche oder
Honduraner oder Letten oder Brasilianer oder ... .
An diesem Nachmittag stand daher die „Länder-Zeit“ im
Mittelpunkt des Programms. Der Auftrag an die WGTeilnehmenden bestand darin, jeweils in Ländergruppen auf
einem Zeitstrahl aus Styropor die Geschichte ihres Landes
kurz darzustellen, aber nur die Augenblicke in der Geschichte zu wählen, die für sie selbst wichtig sind, bzw. etwas mit
ihrer Biographie zu tun haben.
Unsere gelebte Zeit besteht aus vielen Augenblicken. Es gibt
da entscheidende und weniger wichtige, fröhliche und
traurige, lange und kurze Augenblicke. Oft kommt es darauf
an, wie jeder Augenblick genutzt wird. Unser Leben beginnt

nicht erst heute, nicht gestern, nicht morgen, sondern unser
Leben ereignet sich in jedem Augenblick ... . Die Augenblicke
aus der Geschichte, die die Kleingruppen ausgewählt hatten,
verschafften der Gruppe interessante und persönliche
Einblicke in das Leben in Honduras, Brasilien, Lettland,
Südafrika, Deutschland und Panama und es entstanden ganz
persönliche und individuelle Zeitstrahle, die sich so in
keinem Geschichtsbuch finden lassen würden. Abgeschlossen wurden die Vorstellungen aller Länder durch das Singen
der jeweiligen Nationalhymne, wobei die ein oder andere
Gänsehaut aufkam (und das nicht etwa weil die gesungenen
Beiträge so schlecht waren, sondern weil – bei aller Kritik am
eigenen Land – soviel Nationalstolz spürbar war: Wir sind
eben auch Südafrikaner oder Deutsche oder Honduraner
oder Letten oder Brasilianer).
Abschlussabend und Internationales Bufett:
Kaum zu glauben, dass dieser Abend schon der Abschlussabend der internationalen Woche in Sievershausen sein
sollte. Die erlebte Vielfalt der vergangenen Tage sollte sich
auch im Abendessen ausdrücken und so starteten um 17:30
Uhr alle damit, etwas (mehr oder weniger) Typisches aus
ihrem Heimatland zu kochen (nachdem Morwaeng und
Ingrid einen halben Tag in Hannover damit zugebracht
hatten, all die exotischen Zutaten zu besorgen).

The main point of the morning was the
preparation of the youth camp in
Verden. So that all could get to know
how a camp with 200 youth is run, we
watched a video about the last camp.
The participants of the International
Youth Community would partake as
'Global Village' and be part of the
programme. Therefore with supervision
from Michael and Patience, a theatre
peace on the them 'time', with material
from the Bible study was practised.
In the afternoon we still worked on the
'time' theme.
To understand ourselves better who we
are, others have to know where we
come from. We are not only
individuals, but also, whether we like it
or not, we are South Africans or
Germans or Hondurians or Latvian and
Brazilian.
In this afternoon stood therefore
'country-time' in the centre of the
programme. The duty of the
participants was to divide into groups
according to their countries and form
through a Styrofoam a history time line
of their country. But only to mention
those moments in their history which
were important form them or
associated with their own persons.
Our lived time is made up of many
moments. There are some important
and some not so important, happy and
sad, long and short moments. Often it
depends how a given moment is used.
Our life does not start today, not
yesterday, not tomorrow, but our life
happens in every moment … the

group has chosen, lent the group
intressting an dpersonal insights of life
in Honduras, Brasil , Latvia South Africa,
Germany and Panama. Many personal
and individual time-lines came to
being, which could never be found in a
history book. The presentation about
the counties was closed off by singing
the various national anthems, whereby
some got goose bumps (this not
because the singing was bad, but rather
because – even in the face of all the self
criticism against one's country, there
was a national pride that could be felt.
We cant change it, we are South
Africans or Germans or Honduran, or
Latvian or Brazilians.
Closing evening and international
buffet:
It is unbelievable, that this evening is
supposed to be already the closing
evening of the international week at
Sievershausen. The experienced
diversity of the past days should find
expression in the supper. We therefore
started at 17:30 with the preparation of
more or less the typical home food –
after Morwaeng and Ingrid had spent
half the day in Hanover to get all the
exotic ingredients.

Juventud en Verden. Para
llegar a tener una idea de cómo un
campamento con 2000 jóvenes se
puede ejecutar, vimos un vídeo sobre el
último campamento juvenil. Los
participantes del la semana internacional iban a participar en el campamento
como la "Aldea Global" y participar en
el diseño del programa de esta. Así que
bajo la dirección de Michael y Pacience
desarrollamos una obra de teatro para
el estudio de la Biblia sobre el tema
"tiempo".
También en la tarde seguimos trabajando en el tema tiempo.
Con el fin de entender mejor quiénes
somos, otros deben saber de dónde
venimos. Porque no somos sólo
individuos, sino que - nos guste o no somos surafricanos o alemánes,
letones, hondureños o brasileños.
Esa tarde lo más importante del
programa fue el conocer nuestros
países mejor. Los participantes de cada
grupo tenían que hacer una línea de
tiempo de la historia de su país, pero
solo tenían que seleccionar aquellos
momentos en la historia que son
importantes para ellos mismos o que
directamente tienen algo que ver con
sus biografías..
Nuestro tiempo consiste de muchos
momentos. Hay momentos importantes
y otros menos importantes, felices y
tristes, algunos parecen largos y otros
cortos. A menudo lo importante es el
uso que se le da a cada momento.
Nuestra vida no comienza hoy, ni ayer,
ni mañana, sino que vivimos nuestra
vida en cada momento ... . Los momentos de la historia, que habían seleccionado los grupos, dieron una reseña
interesante y personale de la vida en
Honduras, Brasil, Letonia, Sudáfrica,
Alemania y Panamá y el resultado fue
muy personal e individual. Con datos
importantes que no serían incluidos en
un libro de historia. Al final de la
presentación de cada país cantamos el
himno nacional respectivo, esto
conllevo a momentos llenos de
emoción (no porque las contribuciones
cantadas fueran tan malas, sino porque
- pese a las críticas de su propio país - el
orgullo nacional era palpable: somos
sudafricanos, o alemaneso, letones o
hondureños o brasileiros).

Es difícil de creer que esta tarde ya era
la última de la semana internacional en
Sievershausen. La diversidad de los
últimos días también se vio expresa en
la cena. A las 5:30 de la tarde se se dio
tiempo para que todos los que quisieran, pudiesen cocinar algo (más o
menos) típico de su país de origen.(Eso
fue después de que Morwaeng e Ingrid
habían pasado la mitad del día en
Hannover, porque los ingredientes
exóticos no eran fáciles de conseguir).

running. Heute
trifft das wohl so ziemlich für jeden zu, denn wir mussten uns
auf die Abreise zum Landesjugendcamp vorbereiten und
noch alles aufräumen. Aber es war auch ein so sonniger Tag,
sa dass alle guter Laune waren.“
„Ich glaube, dass jeder mit dem Camp zufrieden war und wir
alle nehmen bemerkenswerte Erfahrungen und Erlebnisse
mit uns, die uns in unserem Alltag und unseren jeweiligen
Ländern hilfreich sein werden.
In Verden angekommen galt es, die Zelte und das Global
Village aufzubauen und alles für die Ankunft der
Jugendlichen am nächsten Tag vorzubereiten.
Einige Eindrücke zum Landesjugendcamp:
Kristaps: „Es war spannend für mich, dieses Camp zu erleben,
denn in Lettland haben wir solche Veranstaltungen nicht.
Musik, Spiele, Theater und andere Aktivitäten für
Jugendliche – jeder kann aussuchen, was er oder sie mag.
Unser Trommellehrer Michael und seine Trommeln waren
eines der Highlights bei all den Angeboten.“
„Samstag war der Haupttag des Festivals. Am Vormittag
waren wir als Global Village mit unserer Bibelarbeit dran.
Unser Thema: Arbeiten an einem Sonntag – ist das ok oder
nicht? Jeder aus unserem Team nutzte sein Talent, um die
Darstellung so interessant wie möglich für die deutschen
Jugendlichen zu machen. Adrian spielte Gitarre, Cebo zeigte
sein schauspielerisches Talent als Verkäufer ...“

This was the last day that the group
spend together in Sievershausen.
Kristaps writes: “Time is running.
Today this is applicable to all of us,
because we had to prepare ourselves
for the departure to the youth camp
and clean up. But it was also a sunny
day, that all were in a good mood. I
think that everyone was satisfied with
the camp and we all take impressive
experiences with us to our daily lives
in our respective countries that will be
helpful.”
Having arrived in Verden we had to
pitch the tents for the Global Village
up and prepare everything for the
arrival for the young people for the
following day.

Kristaps: „It was fascinating for me to
experience the camp, because in
Latvia we do not have this kind of
events. Music, games, theatre and
other activities for youth – everyone
can chose what s/he likes. Our
drumming teacher Michael and his
drums were one of the highlights on
offer.
“Saturday was the main day of the
festival. IN the morning it was our
turn as Global Village with a Bible
study. Our theme: Working on Sunday
- is it OK or no?. Everyone in our team
used his or her talents to make the
portrayal as interesting as possible for
the youth. Adrian played gituare,
Cebo showed his acting talent as a
fruit vendor.“

pasó como tal en Sievershausen.
Kristaps escribió: "El tiempo pasa.
Hoy en día es, donde esto es cierto
para todos los participantes, porque
teníamos que salir para prepararnos
para elcampamento juvenil. Para esto
cada uno limpio un poco. Pero fue un
día soleado y todos estaban de buen
humor.

in Form einer
Bibelarbeit
war eine der
Säulen der
Begegnung.
Das Thema
der
Bibelarbeit:
„Du sollst den
Feiertag
heiligen“ war
zum einem
als ein theologischer Impuls für die Wohngemeinschaft und
zum einem als eine Projektpräsentation der
Wohngemeinschaft auf dem Jugendcamp ausgewählt.
Dadurch konnte sich die Gemeinschaft thematisch in das
Campthema einklinken: „Die Zeit (b)rennt.“
Die Bibelarbeit selbst war von den Teilnehmenden sehr
geschätzt, da es nicht nur ein Vortrag war, sondern auch
rege Diskussion und Interaktion ermöglichte. Um an dem
Thema zu arbeiten, fing Herr Kiefer mit etwas
Hintergrundinformation an, wie der Sabbat in der Bibel
verstanden wurde:
Jüdische Tradition, der heilige Tag ist der Samstag (Sabbat).
Er startet Freitagabend um sechs. In der christlichen
Tradition ist Sonntag der heilige Tag.
Alle unsere Länder haben etwas gemeinsam. Globalisierung
und Konsumverhalten wirken sich in allen Ländern stark aus.
In Deutschland haben immer mehr Geschäfte am Sonntag
geöffnet. Und man kann die elektronischen Geschäfte
nutzten (e-banking, online-Shops). Der Sonntag wird immer
mehr zum normalen Wochentag. Egal, ob wir in Lettland,

Südafrika oder Honduras leben. Wir leben mehr oder
weniger in Industriegesellschaften, die unser Leben prägen.
Die Wochen starten am Montag, wenn die Arbeit beginnt,
und wir leben zwischen Arbeits- und Urlaubszeit.
Früher waren am Sonntag alle Geschäfte geschlossen und es
war ein sehr ruhiger Tag. Man trug besondere Kleidung, sie
war nicht immer bequem, aber sehr schön.
Anhand 5 Bibelstellen wurden die Kerngedanken des
alttestamentlichen Verständnisses erläutert: Wir lasen uns
die Bibelstellen jeweils in den verschiedenen Sprachen vor.

Was bedeutet es, einen Tag zu heiligen? Diese Frage löste
eine interessante Diskussion aus! Hierzu einige Antworten:
Gottesdienst feiern, Gott danken und loben, Heilige
Dinge tun (wie z.B. ausruhen). Es ist Zeit, das Leben
und die Woche zu reflektieren.

Bible Study with Mr Kiefer
Working with the Bible by way of a
bible study was one of the central
aspects of the community. The theme
of the bible study : „you shall keep the
Sabbath holy“ was a theological input
for the community as well as being a
chosen project to be presented at the
youth camp . Through the bible study
we could link with the theme of the
camp – time is burning running “Die
Zeit (b)rennt”.
The participants themselves
appreciated the bible study a lot, as it
was not a lecture, but encouraged
discussion and interaction. As an
introduction to the theme, Mr Kiefer
started by presenting background
information as to how the Sabbath was
understood in the Bible:

(Sabbath) is a holy day. It starts Friday
evening at six. In the Christian tradition
Sunday is the holy day.
All our countries have something in
common. Globalisation and
consumerist behaviour affect all our
countries. In Germany more and more
shops are open on Sundays and
electronic business can be used (eshops and on-line shops). Sunday is
becoming more and more to be a
normal working day. It does not matter
whether we live in Latvia, South Africa
or Honduras. We live more or less in
industrial societies, which affects our
lives. The weeks start on Monday,

In earlier times, the shops were closed
on Sundays and it was a quite day.

Landwirtschaft gearbeitet hat, weiß, wie sehr Tiere (Esel,
Kühe, Pferde,… ) für den Menschen arbeiten. Der Sonntag ist
ein Schöpfungstag und ein sozialer Tag.

1. Mose 2, 2-4
Dieser Text erinnert uns daran, warum der Sabbat heilig ist.
Wir erinnern uns, dass Gott die Welt in 7 Tagen geschaffen
hat. (Hinweis auf Bild Emil Nolde „Der große Gärtner“)
-> Ist es erlaubt, am Sonntag im Garten zu arbeiten?
Gartenarbeit ist nicht lebensnotwendig, daher ist sie erlaubt.
Es hängt davon ab, wie man Arbeit versteht: Als
professionelle Arbeit mit Druck und /oder Entlohnung oder
als Erholung und Zusammensein mit Familie.
Aber es gibt unterschiedliche Arbeit, z.B. ist Mitarbeit im
Kindergottesdienst oder als Alten- oder Krankenpfleger eine
gute und wichtige Arbeit am Sonntag.
C)
2. Mose 20, 10
Der Sonntag ist ein sozialer Tag. Hier wird aus der Sicht eines
Menschen gesprochen, der einen ganzen Haushalt hat. Nicht
nur der Bauer soll den Sonntag heiligen, auch den Kindern
und Angestellten soll dies ermöglicht werden. Mit der
Formulierung sind nicht nur Personen aus der jüdischen
Bevölkerung gemeint. Auch der Fremde und der einfache
Arbeiter bekommt frei.

2. Mose 23, 12-13
Dieser Text erinnert uns daran, dass wir vor Gott alle gleich
sind. Das gilt für alle Menschen in der Gemeinschaft, Freie

5. Mose 5, 14-15
Im Vers 15 wird gesagt, dass der Sonntag außer ein
Schöpfungs- und sozialer Tag auch ein Tag der Befreiung ist.
Gott führt heraus aus der Unfreiheit. So wie er das Volk
Israel aus der Gefangenschaft geführt hat, will er auch uns
herausführen aus dem, was uns gefangen hält. Und das kann
ganz unterschiedlich sein (eine klassische
Unterdrückungssituation, unsere Gefangenschaft in
bestimmten Umständen sein -> Erfolgsdenken, Geld, der
eigene Spaß, …). Der Sonntag bietet uns eine Gelegenheit,
über unsere Gefangenschaften zu reflektieren und zu
sprechen.
LANDESJUGENDCAMP
Der Input der Bibelarbeit durch Herr OLKR Kiefer legte das
Fundament für unsere Erarbeitung des Theaterstückes. Die
Jugendlichen teilten sich ihre Erfahrungen in ihren
verschiedenen Ländern bezüglich des Umgangs mit dem
Sonntag mit. Wie junge Menschen den Sonntag verbrachten,
wie Menschen den Sonntag sozial verbrachten und die Rolle
der Geschäfte und Arbeit am Sonntag. Es kristallisierte sich
drei Hauptthemen heraus:

Am Samstag den 2. Juni war unser großer Auftritt: Eine
Bibelarbeit im Freien und 'live' aufgeführt! Ein Publikum, das
wort-wörtlich ein Teil der Bibelarbeit wurde.

Exodus 2, 2-4
This text reminds us why the Sabbath is
holy. We recall that God created the
world in seven days. (reference was
made to a picture of Emil Nolde „Der
große Gärtner“/”the big gardener”)
-> Is it allowed to work in the garden on
a Sunday?
Garden work is not existential
work, therefore it is allowed. It
depends how one understands work. If
it is professional work or a day of
relaxing with the family.
C)
Exodus. Mose 20, 10
Sunday is a social day. In this text, we
hear the commandment from a human
perspective, from a person who has a
household. Not only the farmer has to
sanctify the Sunday, but also the
children and labourers should be
enabled to sanctify the Sunday. In the
formulation not only people from the
Jewish nation are admonished – also
the foreigner and the labourer should
be freed/liberated from work.

Exodus 23, 12-13
This text reminds us that we are all
equal before God. This is applicable to
all people and all societies; slave and
master, humans and animals. Those of
you who have worked in the farming
sector, know how animals (donkeys,
cows, horses, …) work for humans.
Sunday is a creation and social day.

Deuteronomy 5,14-15
In verse 15 it is said that the Sunday,
besides being a creation and social day,

is also a day of liberation. God takes us
out of captivity. Just like he liberated
Israel from captivity, so He wants to
lead us out, from that which holds us
captive. This can be many different
things (a classical oppression context,
being captive in specific situations ->
strive for success, money or own fun
…) Sunday offers us the opportunity to
reflect on our captivity and speak about
it.
YOUTH CAMP
The Bible study input by Mr Kiefer, laid
the foundation fo our theatre play. The
young people shared the experiences
of their different countries about how
Sunday was experienced. How young
people spend Sunday, how people
socially spent Sunday and what role
shops and working on Sunday played.
Three themes emmanated from this:

great début: a bible study under the sky

Wenn so viele
junge Menschen
aus verschiedenen
Ländern der Welt
zusammenkommen
die sich kennen
lernen, zehn Tage
zusammen leben,
Spaß haben und
lernen möchten, ist klar, dass Sprache ein wichtiges Thema ist.
Schön, wenn sich Kristaps aus Lettland von Beginn an mit Cebo
aus Südafrika verständigen kann, weil der eine Englisch in der
Schule gelernt hat, der andere, es neben Zulu als zweite
Muttersprache spricht. Oder wenn Gabriela mit brasilianisch als
Muttersprache das Spanisch von Adrian aus Honduras gut
versteht, aber auch mit Ramona aus Deutschland auf deutsch
sprechen kann.
Aber für die internationale Woche war ja wichtig, dass sich alle
TeilnehmerInnen gegenseitig verstehen und austauschen können.
Aber wie kann das gehen? Was entwickelt sich aus dem
Sprachengewirr? Als Dolmetscherin im Camp bleiben dabei für
mich im Rückblick viele Momente präsent, hier sind einige:

Wir sitzen nach einer Gruppenarbeit im großen Plenum mit allen
TeilnehmerInnen und TeamerInnen in einer spannenden
Diskussion, wie immer während des gesamten Camps wird jeder
einzelne Beitrag dreisprachig übersetzt: „Also ich glaube, dass....“,
„Yo creo que...“, „I think...“. Indem Englisch, Spanisch und
Deutsch gleichzeitig benutzt werden, können alle an jedem
Wortbeitrag teilhaben, weil damit für jede/n TeilnehmerIn
mindestens eine Sprache dabei ist, die er oder sie verstehen
kann. Alle hören gespannt und geduldig zu und obwohl es solch
eine große Gruppe ist, kommt keine Unruhe auf.
Hinten in der Sofaecke sitzt Linda Michael aus Südafrika, der sich
von Besy aus Honduras Spanischvokabeln beibringen lässt und
erklärt, dass er die Sprache von nun an lernen wird, genauso wie
Kristaps aus Lettland. Adrian aus Honduras dagegen meint, dass
er hier zum ersten Mal festgestellt habe, wie wichtig es ist,
Englisch zu sprechen um sich mit unterschiedlichen Menschen
verständigen zu können. Jetzt sei auch für ihn die Motivation da,
es zu lernen.
Bei der Abendandacht führt Gabriela ein wunderschönes

vor dem Essen sprechen Elina und Cristaps auf lettisch.
Simon, mit deutschen Eltern in Panama aufgewachsen, springt
unermüdlich und wie selbstverständlich für deutsch-spanisch,
spanisch-englisch Übersetzungen ein, wenn die Dolmetscherin
nicht mehr weiter weiß.
Besys stolzes Lächeln, wenn gegen Ende des Camps fast jeder
am Tisch mit „Dame la mantequilla por favor“ in ihrer
Muttersprache den Nebenmann oder die Nebenfrau bitten
kann, ihm oder ihr doch bitte die Butter zu reichen.
Die Gruppe schafft sich eine eigene Sprache: das spanische
„mamacita“ und „papacito“ gehen als Kosenamen für Frauen
und Männer in den Sprachschatz der meisten TeilhemerInnen
über und werden kräftig benutzt, ebenso wie die aus dem Zulu
stammenden „supermacidovia“ oder „supermacoco“, was
ausgerufen wird, wenn etwas toll ist.
Wenn ich an diese Erfahrungen zurück denke, wird mir klar, dass
gegenseitige Verständigung auch über Sprachbarrieren hinweg
und mit unterschiedlichen nationalen und kulturellen
Hintergründen klappen kann, wenn die Leute nur wirkliches
Interesse aneinander haben und den Willen, sich zu verstehen.
Wenn dann ganz viel Geduld und eine große Portion Spaß
dazukommt, gibt es fast keine Grenzen.

When so many young people from different
countries come together and get to know
each other, live 10 together, have fund are
eager to learn, it becomes obvious that
language is an important factor.
It is nice when Cristaps from Latvia could from
the beginning communicate with Cebo from
South Africa. The other has learned English at
school, and the other speaks it besides Zulu,
as his second mother tongue . Or when
Grabriela speaks Brazilian Portuguese as her
mother language, but very well understands
Adrian's Spanish from Honduras, who speaks ,
and she can speak to Ramona from Germany
in German as well.
It was important for the participants in the
international week to be able to understand
each other and communicate with each other.
How was this possible? What develops out of
this language mash? As a translator at the
camp, I have to retrospect some impressing/defining moments. Here are some of
them:
We are sitting as a group in plenary and all
participants are involved in interesting
discussion. As usual every part of the
discussionn translated into the three languages: „Also ich glaube, dass....“, „Yo creo que...“,
„I think...“. As English, Spanish and German
are used at the same time, all can participate
in the deliberations, because for every
participant, at least one language is there that
she or he can understand. All listen intensely
and with patience. Though it is such a big
group, there is no commotion coming up.
At the back in the corner of the sofa, Linda
Michael from South Africa is sitting. He is
learning a few words of Spanish from Gabriela
from Honduras and proclaims that he will now
learn the language like Cristpas from Latvia
did. Adrian from Honduras says that he for the
first time has come to observe how important
it is to speak English, so as to communicate
with diverse people. The camp is now his
motivation to learn it.
In the evening devotion, Gabriela
introduces a beautiful Brazilian song,
which is sung by all and even later in the
evening, still sounds in the heads of many.
Elina and Cristpas pray the table prayer in
Latvian.
Simon, of German parentage grew up in
Panama and speak without tiring and as if it is
the most normal thing to do, German, Spanish
and English. He helps the translator, when she
is confounded and does not know the
relevant translation.
Byse proudly smiles, when towards the end of
the camp, nearly everybodyyy can in her
mother tongue at the table says “Dame la
mantequilla por favor” to his or her neighbour
to kindly pass the butter.
The group develops its own language. The
Spanish “mamacita” and “papacio” go as
nicknames for the women and men. They are
used readily in the vocabulary of the participants, as well as the South African expression
“supermacidovia” or “supermcoco” which is
explained when something is great.
When I reflect on these experiences, it
becomes clear to me, that mutual understanding can work even beyond language, national
and cultural barrier, as long as people have
the real interest and the will to understand
each other. When then a lot of patience and a
big portion fun is added, then there are nearly
no barriers.

tantos
jóvenes de
diferentes
países del
mundo
aprenden a conocerse,
viven 10días juntos, se divierten y quieren
aprender el uno del otro, es evidente que el
lenguaje es una cuestión importante.
Es bueno que Kristaps de Letonia desde el
principio se puede comunicar con Cebo de
Sudáfrica, debido a que uno ha aprendido
Inglés en la escuela, el otro lo habla como
segunda lengua despues de zulú. O si
Gabriela, la brasileña, entiende el español
de Adrian de Honduras, pero también
puede hablar con Ramona de Alemania en
alemán.
Pero para la semana internacional era bien
importante que todos los participantes
pudieran entenderse entre sí e
intercambiar sus experiencias. Pero, ¿cómo
puede funcionar esto? ¿Qué es lo que surge
de la confusión de lenguas? Como
intérprete en en la semana internacional
seguiré acordándome de muchos
momentos, he aquí algunos:
Despues de trabajo en grupos, en una
sesión plenaria grande con todos los
participantes y líderes juveniles en un
debate interesante, como siempre todo es
traducido en tres idiomas: : „Also ich
glaube, dass....“, „Yo creo que...“, „I think...“.
Al traducir al Inglés, español y alemán,
todos pueden participar delo que cada uno
dice, porque para cada participante al
menos hay una lengua que él o ella puede
entender. Todos escuchan pacientemente y
con atención.Y aunque es un grupo tan
grande, nunca hay inquietud.
Sentado en el sofá está Linda Michael de
Sudáfrica, dejandose enseñar palabras en
español por Besy de Honduras y dice que
va a aprender el idioma a partir de ahora,
al igual que Cristaps de Letonia. Adrian de
Honduras, en cambio, se dio cuenta aquí
por primera vez lo importante que es
hablar Inglés para comunicarse con
diferentes personas. Ahora encontró
motivación para para aprender inglés.
En el devocional de la tarde Gabriela nos
enseña una una canción brasileña
hermosa, que todos cantamos juntos e
incluso más tarde resuena en nuestras
mentes; la oración antes de la comida la
hacen Kristaps y Elina en letón.
Simon, de padres alemanes creció en
Panamá, sin descanso como una cuestión
de rutina ayuda en las traducciones del
alemán al español y de español al inglés,
cuando la intérprete no sabe cómo
continuar.
Besy con su sonrisa orgullosa al final del
campamento, porque casi todos en la
mesa pueden decir "dame la mantequilla,
por favor" en español al preguntarle a su
vecino en la mesa.
El grupo crea su propia lengua: el español
"mamacita" y "papacito", como un apodo
para las mujeres y los hombres se vuelve
común en el vocabulario de la mayor parte
de los integrantes y las palabras zulúes
"supermacidovia" o "supermacoco" que se
dicen cuando pasa algo extraordianrio.
Cuando pienso en estas experiencias
pasdas, me doy cuenta de que el
entendimiento mutuo sobrepasa las
barreras lingüísticas y diferentes orígenes
nacionales y cuando las personas tienen la
voluntad de entenderse y conocerse.
Cuando a esto de le adjunta mucha
paciencia y una gran dosis de diversión,
casi no hay límites.

Die internationale, ökumenische Jugendarbeit geht weiter.
Die internationalen Woche ist ein Element in der
internationalen ökumenischen Jugendarbeit auf der Ebene
der Landeskirche Hannovers.
Weil die Kirche weltweit vernetzt ist, haben wir in der
Evangelischen Jugendarbeit vielfach die Möglichkeit, in
weltweiten Zusammenhängen zu arbeiten.
So gibt es zum Beispiel das jährliche
Jugendpartnerschaftsforum in Hermannsburg. An einem
Wochenende gegen Ende des Jahres kommen Jugendliche
und jungen Erwachsene, die sich für internationale
Begegnungen interessieren, egal ob sie schon Erfahrungen
mit Partnerschaftsarbeit haben oder nicht, zusammen.
Neben dem Austausch über die eigenen Erfahrungen mit
dem Blick über den Tellerrand des eigenen Landes geht es
darum, sich miteinander bewusst zu machen, wie sich der
eigene Umgang mit anderen Kulturen gestaltet. Außerdem
wird zu einem Thema gearbeitet. Neugierige auf die ganze
Welt kommen so zusammen und entdecken, dass ihre
Weltsicht nicht die einzig mögliche ist.

Es war eine Woche voller Spaß,
Erfahrungen und tollen Erlebnissen mit
tollen Leuten aus verschiedenen
Ländern. Ich werde die Leute vermissen,
aber diese Begegnung bleibt in meinem
Herzen.

with great people from different countries. I will miss
the guys, but the experience will stay in my heart.

The international, ecumenical youth work continues.
The International Week is part of the
international ecumenical Youth Work
on church level of the Church of
Hanover. As the church has
international connections, we at the
Evangelical Youth Work, have
numerous opportunities to work in
global initiatives
In this regard we have the yearly
Youth Partnership Forum taking place
in Hermannsburg. On a weekend
towards the end of the year, young
people and young adults meet. They
are people who are interested in
international/global experiences,
irrespective if they have experience in
partnership work or not.
Besides the exchange of own
experiences beyond their own
horizon, the forum seeks to
conscientize own personal handling
of/with other cultures. Moreover the
forum is thematically structured. We
seek to entice interest for the whole
world and discover in the process that
their perception of the world is not
the only possible world views.

La Semana
Internacional es un
elemento en
el trabajo
juvenil
internacional
ecuménico
en el ámbito
de la Iglesia de Hanover. Porque la Iglesia es
una red mundial, tenemos la posibilidad del
trabajo con jóvenes evangélicos en
contextos globales.
Por lo tanto, entre otros eventos existe la
reunión anual del Foro de la Juventud en
Hermannsburg. Un fin de semana jóvenes
adultos que están interesados en la
comunión internacionale se reúnen. No
importa si han tenido experiencias con el
trabajo internacional o no.
Además de intercambiar experiencias
personales que van mas alla de la forma de
pensar de su propio país, se trata tambien
de conocer cómo es el trato con otras
culturasLas semanas internacionales
siempre tienen un tema específico.
Personas curiosas de todo el mundo se
unen para descubreír que su visión del
mundo no es la única posible.

Spiel „Geschwindigkeit verhext die Welt“
Ziel des
Spiels ist es,
deutlich zu
machen,
dass die
Art, wie wir
konsumieren,
Auswirkungen hat auf
die Umwelt.
Dass oft gerade die Dinge und Handlungsweisen, die Zeit
sparen, besonders viel Energie fressen. Hochgeschwindigkeit
ist ökologisch unverträglich. Weiter soll deutlich werden, dass
wir mehrmals am Tag Entscheidungen zu Gunsten oder
Ungunsten der Umwelt treffen können.
Spielregeln:
Spiel für 2 bis 5 Personen gleichzeitig. Würfelspiel mit 29
Spielfeldern. Startfeld, Zielfeld und acht Ereignisfeldern in
grau, die anderen 20 Felder sind normale Felder in blau. Auf
den Ereignisfeldern stehen die Zahlen 1-7.
Dahinter verbergen sich Situationen, in denen sich die
SpielerInnen zwischen zwei bis drei Möglichkeiten entscheiden müssen. Dafür bekommen sie von 5 Minuspunkten bis zu
1 Pluspunkt. Viele Minuspunkte zu bekommen, ist schlecht.
Die Person, die zuerst im Ziel ist, bekommt 30 Punkte, die
zweite 27 , die dritte 24, die vierte 21, die fünfte 18.
Damit ist aber noch nicht ausgemacht, wer gewonnen hat,
denn die Punkte aus den Ereignisfeldern werden davon
abgezogen. „Du bist zwar schneller, aber das war kein
Gewinn!“

Dir eine tiefgefrorene Gemüsepfanne kaufen und sie Dir

Aim of this game, is to impress on the
participants that our way of
consumption has consequences for
the environment. It is often the things
and actions that save time, which
consume the most energy. High speed
in ecologically not sustainable.
Furthermore it should become clear,
that we can daily decide either to
support the environment or not.
Rules:
It is a game for 2 to 5 persons; with a
dice and with 29 playing fields. Start
field, end field and 8 grey action
fields. The other 20 fields are normal
fields in blue. The action fields are
numbered 1-7. They have hidden
situations, from which the players can
choose between three possibilities.
They receive from minus 5 points
until + 1 point. To get many minus
points is bad.
The player, who arrives first at the
end, gets 30 points, the second 27
points, the third 24, the fourth 21 and
the fifth 15 points.
With that the game is not decided
though, as the points from the action
fields are still to be subtracted. You
were faster, but you have not won!”

Ademas quiere hacer ver que cada

ser a favor o en contra del cuido del
medio ambiente.

Zuckers vermengen. Sahne schlagen, Zucker und

1. Kochbananen pellen, das geht am besten unter Wasser

50g (1.75oz) loganberry jam
20g (0.7oz) sugar
60g (2.1oz) cream
cinnamon
vanilla essence
Finely grate rye bread, mix with
cinnamon and half of the sugar. Beat
cream, adding sugar and vanilla
essence gradually, until mixture forms
stiff peaks. On a shallow dish arrange
layers of bread, jam and whipped
cream, finishing with a layer of bread
which is decorated with whipped
cream. Serve with a drink of milk.

loganobaccus) is an crossing between
blackberry and raspberry. It was
created in 1883 in Santa Cruz,
California, by the American
lawyer and horticulturist James
Harvey Logan. It's very famous
cultivated plant nowadays.

Ingredients:
4 green cooking bananas
y Salt
y Oil

Peel the bananas. It is easier under
water with a knife, as they are more
difficult to open than normal
bananas.
Cut them in 2,5 cm thin slices.
Heat the oil in a pan. The oil has to
cover the bananas to half when
immersed.
Fry all slices on both sides until they
turn yellow.
Press every slice flat, e.g. between
two plates.
Salt them and fry again until the get a
golden -brown colour.
If needed, salt again according to
taste.

Ingedientes:
y 75 gramos (2,625 oz) de pan de
centeno seco
y 50 g (1.75 oz) mermelada de
zarzamora
y 20 g (0,7 oz) de azúcar
y 60 g (2,1 oz) de crema
y canela
y esencia de vainilla
Mezclar el pan finamente molido con
la canela y la mitad del azúcar. Batir la
crema añadiendo el azúcar y la
esencia de vainilla poco a poco, hasta
que la mezcla endurezca.
En un plato llano vaya añadiendo
intercaldamente capas de pan,
mermelada y crema batida,
terminando con una capa de pan
decorada con crema batida. Sirvase
con un vaso de leche.

4 plátanos verdes
y sal
y aceite
1. Pelar los plátanos. Es más fácil
hacer esto bajo agua con ayuda de un
cuchillo.
2. Cortar los plátanos en rodajas de
2,5 cm de espesor.
3. Calentar el aceite en una sartén.
Tiene que ser suficiente aceite para
que tape al menos la mitad de ua
rebanada.
4. Freir las rabanadas de ambos lados
hasta que tomen un color amarillo.
5. Aplanar las rodajas, por ejemplo,
entre dos platos.
6. Añadir sal al gusto y luego freir
nuevamente hasta alcanzar un color
dorado.
7. Si es necesario volver a añadir sal.
