OptoTech hat sich für 2013 wieder sehr viel vorgenommen und
wir hoffen, dass wir Ihnen, unseren Kunden, damit sehr viel
Mehrwert für Ihr Unternehmen liefern können.
Once again, OptoTech has ambitious plans for 2013 and with

Auch in diesem Jahr werden wir mit mehreren OptoNewsAusgaben wichtige Neuerungen an Maschinen und Prozessen

The OAC-25 Vacuum Coater for antireflective coating of ophthalmic lenses is the ideal solution for small RX labs. Moreover,
the machine can also be used for
customized coatings e.g. different
colored mirror coatings. The technology and equipment of this unit
are the same as those used in our
larger vacuum coating systems,
enabling the complete process
variety to be utilized. With 8 lenses
per batch and an automatic flipover station, approx. 40 lenses
can thus be coated per shift.

Feierliche Inbetriebnahme der
UPG 2000 CNC in Teisnach
Festive Start-Up of the
UPG 2000 CNC in Teisnach
Am 9. Januar 2013 fand am Technologiecampus Teisnach der
Technischen Hochschule Deggendorf unter großer Medienpräsenz die feierliche Übergabe der UPG 2000 CNC statt. Über
100 geladene Gäste aus Politik, Wirtschaft und internationalen
Pressevertretern nahmen an der Veranstaltung teil. Neben Besuchern aus Deutschland waren auch viele Interessenten und
potentielle Kunden aus dem europäischen Ausland vertreten.
On January 9, 2013, the festive handover of the UPG 2000
CNC took place with a large media presence at the Technology
Campus of the Technical University of Deggendorf in Teisnach.
Over 100 invited guests from politics, business and international
press took part in the event. In addition to visitors from Germany, many interested parties and potential customers from
Europe also attended.
Mehrere Reden, u.a. von dem bayerischen Minister für Wissenschaft, Forschung und Kunst, Herrn Dr. Wolfgang Heubisch und
vom Präsidenten der Hochschule Deggendorf, Herrn Prof. Dr.
rer. nat. Peter Sperber, eröffneten die Veranstaltung. Auch von
OptoTech wurden Vorträge beigesteuert. So zeigte der Geschäftsführer der OptoTech Optikmaschinen GmbH, Herr Roland Mandler, den über 3 Jahre dauernden Projektablauf auf
und bezeichnete die UPG 2000 als das größte, teuerste und mit
86t auch schwerste Projekt in der Geschichte der Firma OptoTech. Im Zuge dessen dankte er allen Beteiligten, den Mitarbeitern von OptoTech, der Firma Reitz, der Firma Siemens und der
Technischen Hochschule Deggendorf, die sich in der nicht immer leichten Projektphase eingebracht haben. Darüber hinaus
wies er auch auf die Zukunftsperspektiven des aufstrebenden
Marktes für ASTRO-Optiken hin. Die Technische Hochschule
Deggendorf hat mit dieser Maschine den Sprung zum internationalen Player in der „Weltliga“ der ASTRO-Fertigung geschafft.
The event was opened with several speeches given, among
others, by the Bavarian Minister for Science, Research and the
Arts, Dr. Wolfgang Heubisch, and the President of Deggendorf
University, Prof. Dr. rer. Nat. Peter Sperber. OptoTech too contributed to the opening ceremony. The CEO of OptoTech Optikmaschen GmbH, Mr. Roland Mandler, talked about the project,
which was over 3 years in the making, and called the UPG 2000
the biggest, most expensive, and with its 86t, also the heaviest
project in the history of the company OptoTech. He then went
on to thank everyone involved, from OptoTech employees to the
company Reitz, the company Siemens, and the Technical University of Deggendorf, who played a part in the not always easy
project phase. Furthermore, he pointed out the future prospects
of the emerging market for ASTRO optics. With this machine,
the Technical University of Deggendorf has made the leap to an
international player in the „World League“ of ASTRO production.
Herrn Minister Dr. Heubisch wurde im Anschluss die Ehre zuteil,
um 13:25 Uhr den symbolischen Startknopf für das Bearbeitungszentrum für ASTRO-Optiken zu drücken. Ein neues Kapitel der Spiegelproduktion in Deutschland kann nun beginnen.
At 1:25 pm, Minister Dr. Heubisch then had the honor of pressing the symbolic Start button for the Machining Center for ASTRO Optics. A new chapter in mirror production can now begin
in Germany.

schnellstmögliche und hochwertige Hilfe garantiert. Sollte sich
ein Problem nicht per Ferndiagnose lösen lassen, werden sie
oder einer ihrer Kollegen aus der Service-Abteilung umgehend
bei Ihnen vor Ort sein und Ihnen mit ihrem breiten Erfahrungsschatz kompetent zur Seite stehen.
Regelmäßig stattfindende interne Trainings- und Schulungsmaßnahmen durch unsere Verfahrenstechniker garantieren,
dass unser Service-Team stets auf dem aktuellsten Stand der
Entwicklungen bei OptoTech ist.

customers sometimes have service needs. In the precision
optics and ophthalmic lens areas, OptoTech can offer you the

America) to provide you with fast and competent assistance. If a
problem cannot be resolved by remote diagonsis, these experts
or one of their colleagues in the Service Department will visit
