Participants to this event are students from Grades 4, 5, 7 and 8 and their parents, with a total of 19,000 individuals reading at the same time. The venue is at Filinvest ground fronting the Vivere Suites in Alabang. Assembly time is at 4:00 am. Participants must wear their prescribed shirt and cap (red, blue, white or yellow) which shall display, on an aerial view, the flag of the Philippines and the creed of the City: "Yan ang Tama, Van ang Muntinlupa". The amount of Phpl15. for the shirt and cap per individual shall be paid by the participants. Schools are required to submit the names of participants and their shirt sizes on or before February 10, 2014, c/o Mrs. Karen Escuadro, Division Planning Officer. Currently, Changhua County Government in Taiwan holds the record for the most number of adults reading to children at a single location 'with 3,682 adults and 4,047 children. And sh.e picked it up and rocked it back and forth, back and forth, back and forth andi sang "'I love you forever. I like you for always. As long as I'm living, my baby you'll be". ~elI, that little baby it grew. It grew and it gliewand it grew and it grew and it grew until he was two years old. And! it ran all around the house) pushed over book cases, took things off the wall andi, picked up its mother's watch and flushed it down the toilet! Sometiimes, the mother would say' "This kid is. driving me crazy!" And it had strange friends and it wore strange clothes and it listened to strange music. Sometimes the mother would say "This kid is driving me crazy!" But at night time when that teenager was asleep, the mother would open up the door to his room, crawl across the floor, look up over the side of the bed. And if that great big kid was really asleep, she would pick him up and rocked it back and forth, back and forth, back and forth, back and forth and sing "1 love you forever. I like you for always. As long as I'm living. my baby you'Ube". That teenager, he grew, and he grew and he grew and he grew until he was a grown up man. He left home and moved all the way to the other side of town. But sometimes on dark nights, the mother, would drive across town. When she came to her san's house when the lights were all out, she would climb up to., his bedroom and would open it up, crawl across the floor, look up over the side of the bed. And if that great big man was; really asleep, she would pick him up and rocked him back and forth, back and forth. back and forth and sing "I love you forever. I like you for always. And it was very late that night when the son got home but be stood for a long time at the top of the stairs and then he went into the bedroom where his very new baby daughter was sleeping. He looked at that little girl and be picked her up and rocked her back and forth, back and forth, back and forth and sang "I love you forever. I like you for always .. All schools must conduct parents and pupils orientation to discuss the objectives and importance of this big event: to the DepEd Muntinlupa, and to the entire populace of the city, to .get their full support and commitment as active participants. A. Before the Big Event 1. Select the pupils and parents who have no serious ailment such as asthma, high blood pressure. Physical fitness is necessary to withstand the crowd of thousands. 2. Orient parents/ pupils of their designated assembly area and time, and respective place in the human flag. Refer to the attached flag ofFilinvest and Flag. 3. Be on the site at 4:00 in the morning, in your designated assembly area. 4. Pupils must wear their school IDs and the bar code for electronic counting. 5. Strictly wear prescribed t-shirt assigned to your school and a pair of blue jeans. 6. Make sure that you have the exact number of participants allocated for your school. Have at least five (5) pairs (parent-child) as buffers in case of any unforeseen absence of participants. 7. Stewards must know in advance. the 50 parents and pupils under his/her command. The parent is accountable to his /her own child. S. Refrain from bringing backpacks and big bags as these may alter the color and design of the human flag. 9. Avoid bringing valuable items and electronic gadgets that might be lost / snatched. 10. Color of folders must be the same with the color of t-shirt. 11. Eat light breakfast. Number of portalets is limited. You can have your ala King breakfast after the 3 - hour activity. 12. Each pair has a specific slot in the human flag. Stick to your place and do not attempt to swap with friends. 13. Encourage parents to constantly rehears (performance) reading at home. 14. Post in conspicuous place in the school essential information about the events such as date and time of rehearsals, etc. B. During the Big Event 1. Walk from drop-off point in Alabang viaduct up to the event venue. Transport vehicles could not accommodate volume of participants. Participants are advised to walk. 2. Report to your steward in your designated assembly area. 3. Checking of attendance will be facilitated by the assigned steward. There is one steward for a group of 50 people. 4. The cue to start marching is when the live band starts playing the Muntinlupa March. Ihe singing of the national anthem starts immediately when everybody is fully converged to form the Philippine flag. 5. Read the story "Love You Forever" with feelings simultaneously with the highest official who serve as a leader - reader. 6. Listen attentively to the speeches of personalities and to authorities providing instructions. Do not make unnecessary movements. 7. Stay still until the end of the program. Collective small voices can create a loud noise that can destruct the flow of the program. S. Limit your 'baon' to candies and small bottle of water. 9. Parent must check the condition of his/her child at all times. Call Medics who are scattered within the area at once if needed. 10. Be alert on any notorious people around. 11. Bring handkerchief not towels. Avoid using the folders as fan. 12. Never make a 'bomb joke' or any similar remark that may cause panic or public disturbance. Offenders will be apprehended subject to the provisions of Presidential Decree No. 1727. 13. Reserve your picture - taking (selfie) galore after the event. 14. Parents / Adults must not bring another child aside from child - participant. 15. School and city nurses will go with their respective school assignment, and will wear the same colored shirt that of the school. 16. Protect the environment at all times. Refrain from picking of flowers and uprooting of plants. C. Mter the Big Event 1. To avoid possible stampede, exit through your designated assembly area. Walk slowly. Do not RUN. 2. Do not leave any trash in the area. Oean as you go (CLAYGO). Hold trash for a while until you find trash bins. 3. Have fun! Timeline 4:00 - 5:00 a.m Travel time from drop off point to assembly area 5:00 - 7:00 a.m Start of Marching from assembly area to form the Philippine flag. Muntinlupa March will be played by lyre band. 7:00 Everybody must already settled in their designated place.
