Comfort Fit System
All Oxtar® boots are fashioned on a last, the same
technique used for the highest quality conventional
and sports footwear. Shaped around a last that
faithfully reproduces the anatomy of the human foot,
the upper fits the foot snugly without cramping it,
providing maximum comfort and support.
GORE-TEX® GTX®
Cold
Rain
The GORE-TEX® Membrane provides a thin, uniform
barrier that can provide properties like waterproofing
or chemical resistance. A single square inch of the
of the GORE-TEX® Membrane contains nine billion
microscopic pores — each 20,000 times smaller than
a rain drop but 700 times larger than a molecule of
water vapor — so while water can’t pass through
the fabric, perspiration can.

XCR® means eXtended Comfort Range fabric.
Extra breathability is the key factor that make
the difference between GORE-TEX® XCR® and the
standard GORE-TEX® fabric.
Full Grain Leather
The hides used for our uppers are “full grain” type,
i.e. they come from the best quality part of the hide.
The special tanning treatments then give the leather
the necessary qualities of water repellence and
breathability.
