NLS offer Trivex as Hardcoated or HMAR coated options. Trivex has the same
impact resistance as Polycarbonate but does not suffer from internal stress,
reducing problems with starring around drill holes; it is also resistant to
chemical attack. Trivex has a specific gravity of 1.11 g/cm3 making it lighter than
Polycarbonate, but with a V= 45 optically Trivex is great to look through, also
offering full UV cut out up to 395nm. Due to its improved optics Trivex is a great
option for children and teenagers with superb impact protection.

NLS Sunsensor 1.56 photochromic is available in Grey or Brown. Developed by
Corning, the originators of the glass photochromic, Sunsensors retains some
of the design principles of the original concept, unique in the fact that it is
photochromic throughout its mass. This offers truer colours, and in some cases,
can benefit more photophobic patients due to a slight residual tint when
un-reacted.

WECO E.6
HIGH SPEED PATTERNLESS EDGER
WITH FREEHAND DESIGN MILLING
The WECO E.6 has a superfast edger engine and is equipped with a new milling feature that is able to
deal with the most intricate shapes. When coupled with the C.5 automatic blocker, this combination
allows freehand design of almost any shape hitherto impossible for a patternless edging system.
The milling feature also allows the E.6 to process technically challenging frames and super-slippery
coatings at full throttle.
Integrated Grooving and Drilling
The WECO E.6 patternless edger comes
complete with integrated grooving and
drilling, saving you money from not
having to send your supra’s and rimless
work out to a lab.

Mini bevel and adjustable chamfering
A variable mini-bevel is available in
every bevelling program. On top of that,
the system offers adjustable chamfering
on both front and rear curve.
Combined Bevel processing cycle
This process allows the combination of
e.g. a V-bevel with a rimless or supra
on different sections of the lens. The
sections are variable and operator
defined.
Integrated bar code scanner
& accessory tray
Integrated bar code scanner for labs that
employ bar coded job trays and with an
accessory tray on top of the edger to
keep an ample supply of blocks and
accessories close at hand.
Step Bevel process
This enables glazing of high wrap frames with
a U-profile. The Step Bevel is variable in width
(a: 1 to 3mm) and in height (b: 1 to 2.5mm)
and can be delivered with a variable front side
chamfer (f: 0.0 up to 0.6mm).
Integrated Milling
The WECO Edge E.6 lens edger has
an advanced milling feature using SD
(Smart Design) Technology to process
highly complex shapes.
The VX35 automatic lensmeter is based on patented Visionix
Wavefront technology delivering fast and accurate measurements.
Wavefront analysis
• Based on a 130 point Shack Hartmann sensor, results are exceptionally accurate
while providing a fast and efficient measurement.
