What happens when you combine a global star among design and architecture materials with a
world-class master in colour and style? The result is “CORIAN® loves MISSONI”, one of the most
inspiring events of the design week, an interior design project expressing the design versatility of
DuPont™ Corian® through the style, creativity and the skills in colour research of Missoni.
“CORIAN® loves MISSONI” is organized by DuPont™ Corian® and MissoniHome in collaboration
with Artemide, Boffi, Listone Giordano, Moroso, Zehnder Group/Runtal, Esarc Hi-Tech, Hasenkopf,
TechLab Italia and Antica Gelateria del Corso/Nestlé.
The exhibition “CORIAN® loves MISSONI” is open to the public at the showroom "Corian® DesignMilano Store" until July 31st, 2008.

Within an off-fair event and at Boffi’s showroom, the company presented products and solutions for
kitchen, bath and home furnishings characterized by elegance, high technology and exceptional
functionality. DuPont™ Corian®, partner in Boffi's presentation and event, materialized in a variety
of splendid kitchen and bath applications signed by some of the big names from the world of
design - Piero Lissoni, Claudio Silvestrin, Norbert Wangen, Neunzig Design, Joe Colombo. Also
on display were Boffi products made with DuPont™ Zodiaq® quartz surfaces.

Boffi – Claudio Silvestrin
New solutions for bathroom interiors: the Corian® structure that embraces the Basic bath and a
new prototype with top and integrated sink, both in Corian®. Design: CRS Boffi.
Creations characterized by a rational and elegant geometry in Corian®: the Po
bath with its generous dimensions; top and cabinet of the I Fiumi line of bath
interiors. Design: Claudio Silvestrin.

At the off-fair event, the industrial space lends suggestive contrasts to the rigorous,
sober and majestic K14 kitchen with top in Corian®. Also the large cabinet
containing the Gaggenau refrigerator is clad in Corian®.
In the showroom, the K2 kitchen incorporates both vertical cladding and a sliding
top in Corian®. Design: Norbert Wangen.
The sinks Zone, PHC, Cathino, PHV and PHVS entirely in Corian®; the
Case System 5.0 kitchen with top and cladding in Corian®; Table System

The Xila 2.3 kitchen in DuPont™ Zodiaq®. Design: Piero Lissoni and CRS Boffi.
Boffi – Joe Colombo / Minikitchen
Designed by Joe Colombo in 1963, Minikitchen is a re-edition, now in
Corian®. A futuristic and practical solution that incorporates in a single
structure all the functions of a normal kitchen, allowing space advantages for
even the most confined areas. Design: Joe Colombo.
Boffi – Neunzig Design
"The Flower Tower"
Folio – the oblique top and sink in Corian® harmoniously merge into a
monolithic form that characterizes its identity. Design: Neunzig Design
(pictured from left, Barbara Funck and Rainer Weckenmann).
Architecture, design and graphics in a single installation: a creative
combination of Corian® with the innovative solution for ventilated facades by
avantgarde_system. “The Flower Tower”: a pattern with an “organicvegetable” look at close distance, which transforms gradually, as the distance
grows, into a delicate flight of flowers towards the open sky. Corian® for the
exterior cladding of the tower hosting the atelier _avantgarde, “tattooed” with
a colored, graphic motif conceived by the designers Catharina Lorenz and Steffen Kaz and applied

The Together kitchen includes island top with integrated sink and extensions for the extractable
table. All elements made in Corian® Glacier White. Design: AIKO R&D.

Alno
The structural bar unit of the kitchen made with Corian® Anthracite incorporates
a built-in shelf on the exterior side and compartments for household appliances
or kitchen utensils on the kitchen side of the bar. Design: Alessandro Mendini.
From Germany, Alnoart Pro, awarded the Besser Leben initiative "2007 Kitchen of the year". The
handleless kitchen has been renewed highlighting the top in Corian® Bisque which combines with
aluminium moulded frames and high-gloss lacquered glass doors to create a brilliant and
suggestive effect of light and reflection. Design: Alno.
Alvin Aronson, D/A Clock
Corian®, steel, electronics. Displayed within the “That’s Design” exhibition, the
large one meter long digital D/A clock made entirely in Corian® Glacier White,
combines the digital and analog worlds. Its segments mechanically project onto a
flat surface. As the hour changes, the segments effect a slow and seamless
transition to show the new hour. Design: Alvin Aronson.

The Turnover table (available in two sizes), with surfaces in Corian® Cameo White, can be used
both horizontally and vertically to satisfy different space needs. Design: Minimal Design.

ARDO – Daily Design (Merloni)
In a world preview for the new Merloni brand Ardo: Daily Design, a stylishly fun line of
household appliances - ironic, light-hearted, amusing – that includes a wide variety of
products (refrigerator, oven, dishwasher, television, cabinets, etc…) with cladding,
handles and decorative accessories in various colors of Corian®. Design: Antonio
Villas.

Cinquanta2 and On-Line bathroom furnishings. Linear shapes define Cinquanta2 composed of
rectangular sinks in Corian® Glacier White. On-Line integrates top and sink, both in Corian®
Glacier White, with soft modulated lines. Design: Arlex Interiors.
Artelinea for Rubinetterie Newform
A new range of fawcets by Newform combined with five sinks in Corian® Glacier
White by Artelinea (4 cloud shaped sinks model B62 and the round model B63).

Axia Bath Collection – Simone Micheli
The new AX10 collection of bath furnishings in Corian® Glacier White includes
bath, sink and shower pan characterized by fluid, rounded lines. Design: Simone

The AX05 collection also in Corian® Glacier White includes a cubical
sink, a top with integrated sink and a shower pan. Design: Lino Codato.

B&B Italia
Two stars from the Object collection. Vertigo Round and
Vertigo: two sets of bowls in Corian® Glacier White.
Design: Naoto Fukasawa. Loop is a set of trays in
Corian® in three different dimensions, also in Glacier

The "Prima AV" kitchen proposes a series of handles made in a
sandwich structure of Corian®, steel and Corian®. Different colours of
Corian® are used: Glacier White, Nocturne, Pewter, Pearl Gray.

Bisazza presented, in a FuoriSalone event and within its showroom, two striking
exhibitions including elegant furnishings and accessories enriched by mosaics.
Amongst them, the round Zenith table, by renowned French designer Andrée
Putman, in two versions: top in Corian® Glacier White and interior with beautiful
Bisazza yellow gold mosaic; top in Corian® Glacier White with interior in Bisazza
white gold mosaics.

The project Area is a contemporary composition that develops in
three directions to delineate and define the kitchen space. The top of
the long structure that wraps around at right angles and the shelving
incorporated into the ‘living’ side of the structure are both in Corian®
Glacier White. Design: Lino Codato.
BSH proposes Corian® for two of its premium brands. Elegant Corian® Nocturne for the paneling
of the Neff refrigerator and a top in Corian® Glacier White for the Gaggenau cook area.

The new consolle "Luna" from the Modern Sense collection with a top in

The two elements that distinguish the design - the mattress-like formed bench and the adjustable

The Interior Design Gallery collection includes an array of bath furnishings –
sinks, bath, shower pans – in Corian® Glacier White. Also various design
elements of the Cisal stand were presented in Corian®, including the reception

Eurocucina: The Modus kitchen, with cladding and top in Corian®
Glacier White, exalts the purity of its minimalist but substantial form to
respond to the most demanding and contemporary lifestyle. Design:

Fuori Salone: The Panama kitchen – pleasing proportions with minimalist and austere lines, a “best

contemporary interiors. Also the open cabinet placed on the kitchen bench and the bookshelf are

Doimo Cucine
The British company Decode London presents Textile, a side unit
showing a distinctive approach to pattern and texture. The Corian®
doors are creatively decorated with a floral pattern via CNC. Design:

Aspen Gallery takes advantage of the elegant purity of
Corian® Glacier White, used for the kitchen’s top, integrated
sink, and side cladding, as well as for the table that completes
the gallery’s composition. Design: Imago Design. Pictured

EDIDA, Elle Decor International Design Awards
The Elemental Spa collection faucets are a contemporary interpretation of
elementary water springs, realised in Corian® Glacier White. The collection
includes five faucets: two wall-mount versions for either sink or bath, one floor
mount version for the bath and two different dimensions for the shower.

The sixth edition of EDIDA (Elle Decor International Design Awards): DuPont™ Corian® and
Ernestomeda are winners for the category ‘Kitchen and Materials’ with the kitchen created for
“Corian® Nouvel Lumières” project conceived by Jean Nouvel for DuPont, realized by
Ernestomeda; B&B Italia is winner for the ‘Tablewear’ category with the "Vertigo" bowls in Corian®,
designed by Naoto Fukusawa.

Sinuosa, with top and integrated sink in Corian® Glacier White, is the new
addition to the L'Evoluzione kitchen line. Available both as an island and
peninsula, it allows the creation of various configurations thanks to its
distinguishing 45 degree angle feature - rendering the kitchen 'sinuous' and
flexible for varying needs. Design: Ciancarlo Vegni.
The Elektra kitchen with elements in black crystal and American walnut combined
with Corian® Vanilla used for the top and the snack table. Design: Pietro Arosio.
Lounge design included table tops in Corian® Nocturne, contrasting seating in
Corian® Cameo White, and a large continuous 24 meter bench encompassing the
lounge, also in Corian® Cameo White.

Escho, the new brand of exterior furnishing solutions, presented the Allaria collection in Corian®
including “Rosis” table, the large “Atollo” garden bench, the “Hydra” shower, the “Focolare” table

The Rosis table transforms the dining experience, available in two versions of the central element
incorporated into the Corian® Glacier White top. One version allows the preparation of food at the
table, while in the other version small containers for the planting of small flowers or plants are
integrated. The Corian® top is decorated with a floral motif realized via a special technique
developed by Escho.
The Hydra shower, with a flexible stem which arises from the water lily shaped base and can move
360 degrees. The rigid segments of the stem and the base are in Corian® Glacier White.
The two benches and table in Corian® Glacier White that make up Focolare permit one to cuddle
up to a fire, in both interior and exterior environments. The table incorporates an EcoSmart®
burner for the safe production of a flame, without the need of a chimney.
The monolithic-like acoustic diffuser Griebano incorporates an innovative and wireless system that
transmits sound in a uniform and non-directional manner. All the electronic components and the
power rest protected within, allowing Griebano to remain outdoors without risk of damage from the
elements.

At the exhibition organized by VIA (Valorisation de l’Innovation dans
l’Ameublement), the new Concept Cook® kitchen in Corian® Glacier White and
steel combines all the technical elements in a single unit, facilitating moving and
installation. All of the various functions (cleaning, preparation and cooking) are
grouped in an island block incorporating refrigerator and storage space.
Concept Cook® also adopts domotic technologies with a system of "Inside
Tronic" intelligent drawers and LED which illuminate when the drawers are

architects and creatives the opportunity to present projects, products or ideas in a spectacular and
dynamic way: 20 images that have to be described in 20 seconds each.
At the exhibition organized by VIA (Valorisation de l’Innovation dans
l’Ameublement), the Chemin d'Eau kitchen (available in Mastic and Rubis
models) with a top that integrates, with a fluid movement of lines and curves,

For the line of home furnishings by Poliform, the two Dolmen tables in Corian®
Glacier White, conceived as a single unit of pure solid geometrical forms that can

Corian®. For the interior accessories collection, the paper basket Cestino Pollice, in Corian®

The Helleu chair pays homage to Jacques Helleu, art director of Chanel
for 40 years and recently deceased. With great formal purity, its lines
trace with only a few strokes its structure: three cross bars unite the 'X'
formed legs, two strips of leather give form to the seat and back.
Lightness and solidity combine in a highly stable and comfortable
structure. The chair expresses a subtle and modern luxuriousness. The
steel structure is entirely clad in Corian® Glacier White to exalt the

Included in the Inside Art exhibition, the Black Boulder installation in
Corian® Nocturne - a symbolic 8 meters long representation of the
mountains - interprets and re-explores exteriors, projecting them
towards design for interiors. Black Boulder is a mountain to be climbed,
a large 'seating solution', a comfortable chaise-longue or a partition for
either interiors or outdoors. It deconstructs and gives vitality to the living

In the showroom, “System 30” was on display in its new wall suspended version. Corian® Glacier
White, used for top, integrated sink and all the vertical surfaces, stands out in this flexible and
highly functional arrangement. Design: Opera Design.
At Eurocucina, entirely clad in Corian® Glacier White, “System 30” was proposed as a large
island hub. Also the columns and the Siemens refrigerators complimenting the kitchen
were clad in Corian®. A new evolution to the kitchen was Conchiglia 08, the steel block
enclosing the cleaning and cooking areas, and adapted with an electronic system for
automatic opening and closure.
