owned and operated by Jody and Earl Sherman with 30+ years
of experience meeting clients every need. Our Staffing
Department has RNs, LVNS and Geriatric counseling experts
selecting the perfect staff to meet client’s needs. The Patient
Care Coordinating department consists of Dr. John Sherman,
nurses, licensed clinical social workers (LCSW) and a Marriage
and family therapist (MFT).

Wonderful Water!
Jody’s Helpful Household Hints
Tips and tricks we can all use for a quick fix to life’s
little problems! If you have some quick tips to share
let us know! Always looking for ways to make life a bit
easier for all of our clients.
Have scratches on your wood furniture? Try rubbing a
Walnut on the scratch….Like Magic it will disappear.
Day at the Beach leaving you with stubborn sand
between your toes and other places? A sprinkle of baby
powder dusted over the area will loosen sand and it
easily shakes off!! It’s a good tip for everyone! Not just
babies!!

important, but did you know that
drinking water at specific times is
just as important?
Drinking water at the correct time
can maximize its effectiveness on
the human body.
1. Two glasses of water after
waking up can help activate
internal organs!
2. One glass of water before a meal
helps digestion!
3. One glass of water before taking
a bath helps lower blood pressure!
4. One glass of water before going
to bed, avoids stroke or heart

Is It More Than Winter Blues?
We all go through ups and downs in our mood.
Sadness is a normal reaction to life’s struggles,
setbacks, and disappointments. Many people
use the word “depression” to explain these
kinds of feelings, but depression is much more
than just sadness.

We Love Pets!
Kitties, Doggies and Birds oh my!! At AAA T.L.C we take
care of the entire family and of course this includes the
furry, feathered and scaled kind of family!
We match caregivers to the needs of the family
including animal care! We have clients that have
everything from beautiful parrots, cuddly kittens,
bearded dragons, and of course man’s best friend. We
can feed animals, walk them, take them to vet
appointments, and sit while you are at work or on
vacation. Of course our favorite thing to do is to love
them!

Meet Macie Pearl!
AAA T.L.C.’s newest employee in training! A small
terrier rescue from the Van Nuys animal shelter, Macie
has been socializing at our Encino office since her
rescue. She will be trained and certified as a pet
therapy dog and will be doing client visits at request in
the near future. Therapy dogs can help with both the
physical and emotional needs of our clients. We will
keep you posted on her progress…snuggles and wags
await!

Happy Healthy 2012
We had an amazing Holiday party for our staff, clients, and
colleagues! A 14 piece Band rocked the Sportsman’s Lodge,
over 250 people attended and even Santa Claus was on hand
to deliver presents to all of the children! We hope you will join
us next year! As we look ahead for 2012 we want to thank all
of you for the opportunity to help you! We are committed to
our clients and their families, helping them maintain their
independence and live their best lives! From our AAA TLC
