WHY USE COLITE’S SIGNATURE LEDS?
LP 1 Side‐Lit provides a unique look not achievable with standard channel letter fabrication and an ability to cast a mild halo illumination with a flush mounting technique. LP1 is also available as “partial side‐lit” illumination for the front or back half of the letter returns.
LP 3 Halo‐Lit offers the ability to “halo‐illuminate” thin stroked letters or areas that usually appear dim in serifs of traditionally manufactured channel letters. LP 4 Face‐Lit provides the opportunity to incorporate face‐lit signage where a variety of challenges must be overcome. Use LP4 if strokes are too thin for standard channel letter fabrication or if a bulkhead area has little or no room for recessing a push‐thru cabinet sign. LP4 also allows for face illumination without “trim cap”.
LP 10 is a 3/8” thick acrylic inlay with embedded LEDs and allows for a variety of illumination methods, colors, choices, and depths. This is an excellent choice for signage that is viewed from a closer proximity.
LP products are more energy efficient, have lower maintenance costs, and require less maintenance than other traditional channel letters over their life span.

GENERAL SPECIFICATIONS
LP 1 Side‐Lit
I. Side‐lit letters are illuminated along the sides or returns of the letters
II. The face and back of the letter are opaque acrylic, vinyl or paint finish
III. Depth on letters may be 20mm or 30mm
LP 3 Halo‐Lit
I. Halo‐lit letters have light exposed from the back only
II. White is the color of choice for halo‐lit letters but any color is possible
III. Other colors are achieved through translucent vinyl, or with red, green, blue or amber LEDs
IV. The front and sides are usually provided with a paint finish or capped with stainless steel, brass, copper or titanium covers
V. Depth of letters may be 20mm or 30mm
LP 4 Face‐Lit
I. Face‐lit letters are solid acrylic letters with LED illumination visible on the face only
II. White LEDs are usually combined with a colored acrylic or a vinyl film to achieve the desired color
III. Advantage: No trim cap is necessary; letter stroke is true to font
IV. Depth of letters – standard 30mm
LP 10
I. LP‐10 is Colite’s unique way of lighting fabricated channel letters
II. LP‐10 is a 3/8” thick acrylic inlay with embedded LEDs
III. The acrylic is cut to the shape of the channel letter which ensures consistent lighting and easy installation
IV. The typical depth of an LP‐10 letter is 3.5” to 4” and it can be face‐lit and/or halo‐lit
