Weekly Full Service Letter of Understanding
First and foremost this is NOT a contract. This is an Agreement or better yet a “Letter of
Understanding”. Its purpose is to simply clarify what is expected of you the “Customer” and Turn
Key Pool Service, LLC or “TKPS” the Service Company. That said let’s get to it!
Turn Key Pool Service, LLC from here on out referred to as: “TKPS” is the company you are hiring
to service and maintain your pool or pool and spa.
You are hereby referred to as the Customer.

I, the “Customer” hereby authorize TKPS to charge my card in advance monthly for the amount
above on the 1st of the month.
TKPS provides the following to all Full Service Customers Weekly:
• Technician will arrive being respectful of the neighborhood
• Technician will have a company shirt so they will be easily recognized as a TKPS employee
• Technician will be as quiet as possible when entering your backyard. Technician will be very careful not
to slam the gate especially when it is very early in the morning. Technician will also be aware and
respectful of your landscaping, landscape lighting, furniture etc., basically everything in your yard.
• TKPS takes the weeks of Thanksgiving and Christmas off. There are 52 weeks in a year, Pool Service
will be provided for 48 weeks out of each and every year, therefore your monthly bill will average out to
pay for four weeks every time. The additional 2 weeks off will be held as “floating” for Illnesses of staff
and/or further education and certifications to better serve you.
• Pool walls, steps, and any love seats brushed each visit.
• Chemical check each visit and necessary chemical balancing. Chlorine Tablets, Liquid Chlorine,
Muriatic Acid, Soda Ash, Sodium Bicarbonate are all Included Chemicals.
• We charge extra for: Conditioner, All Algaecides, Cal Hypo (and any other shock) and Phosphate
remover.
• Pressure gauge checked each visit.
• Sand, DE and cartridge filters back-washed as needed but at least once every 8 weeks.
• Skimmer baskets emptied each visit.
• Pump baskets emptied each visit.

• All vacuum line leaf catchers emptied as needed.
• Pool and/or Pool and Spa will be vacuumed as needed, this is included for no additional charge.
• Pool cleaners kept in good repair, we charge for the parts only. If your cleaner needs to be rebuilt
we will just do it and put it on your monthly bill. Some cleaners need to be rebuilt every 3-6 months,
others last for years. These charges range from $49 - $190. We will only do this if it is necessary to
keep your equipment in tip top shape.
There are occasionally other minor expenses that arise to keep your pool in tip top shape (skimmer
baskets, floaters, pump baskets, pressure gauges, pressure relief valves, water levelers, inline-baskets,
o-rings etc.), we will go ahead and supply these items as needed and add them to your monthly
statement. These items range from $9.00 to $29.00.
Salt cells checked and cleaned as needed (cleaning a salt cell is an additional $29.00 charge).
• Time clock adjustments made as needed. We are aware of energy costs and will only run your
equipment on off-peak hours and only as long as needed to keep your pool water circulating, clean
and healthy unless you prefer otherwise.
• Service Cards will be maintained in the timer box (or somewhere in the pool equipment area) Every
time a technician services your pool or comes in your backyard for any reason this card will be filled
out.
• Water level maintained for vacation and out-of-state customers.
• Pump baskets, Skimmer baskets and Chlorine Floaters will be replaced as needed automatically and
the parts only cost will be added to your monthly bill.
• Gates closed and/or locked when service is complete.
Customers of TKPS are responsible for the following:
Access to Your Backyard
If you have a key lock on your gate. please either remove it or replace it with a combination lock
prior to beginning service - these have just proven to be so much easier than keeping track of keys.
If we arrive on our regular scheduled day and we are not able to access the pool there will be no
credit for this missed visit. Keep your side yard clear of clutter so we can get through with ease and
safety. It is imperative that we have access to your swimming pool in order to provide the swimming
pool maintenance that has been agreed to. We will make every effort to service your pool on the
same day each week. If for some reason, such as illness, automobile accident, truck has broken down,
family emergency, etc, and your service technician is not able to service your pool, service will be
provided by another service technician. The timing of these situations does not always allow for us to
let you know ahead of time.
Cleaning System
Your pool must have either an in-floor cleaning system or a cleaner or both. If you do not have an infloor cleaning system and wish to start monthly pool service you will be asked to purchase a cleaner
prior to service being started. There is no obligation to purchase said cleaner from TKPS however,
we will do our best to beat any price quoted.

Dogs and Other Pets
We at TKPS know that your pets are a part of your family however, it is your responsibility to see
that your family members (pets) are properly arranged for ahead of time. If you do not have a
separate fenced off area in your yard for your dogs, please see that they are either in the house or in a
kennel/crate on your service day(s).
Bees, Wasps, Snakes, Scorpions and other Pests
We at TKPS are concerned with the safety of both our employees, our customers and others. Some
people are allergic to bee or wasp stings and snake anti-venom is very expensive. Should your
service technician come in contact with bees, snakes or other pests, they will report the situation to
the customer. Making you aware of the situation and asking that it be corrected prior to your service
technician’s next visit. Please contact us prior to your service technician’s next visit to let us know if
he/she can continue to come or if more time is needed to correct the situation.
Staying in Touch
Customer agrees to provide TKPS with adequate contact information (above) (land line phone
number, cell phone number, work phone number, e-mail address) where he/she can best be reached
during the day. If Customer cannot be reached in a timely manner, Customer agrees to accept any
decision TKPS makes in regards to maintaining Customers swimming pool and/or other water
features.
Other Items of Importance:
On Rainy Days: Only a chemical service and emptying of baskets will be performed. (No refunds will be
given for this type of service.)
Additional Cleanup Charges: In the event that the pool is unusually dirty at the time service is started or
in the event that the pool receives excessive debris and or dirt load due to homeowner/tenant, landscaping,
poor draining or extreme weather, there will be an additional charge of $20.00.
Any extra visits requested by the homeowner/resident are a minimum $45 charge. “Pre-party” clean-ups
must have a minimum 48 hours notice.
Customer Satisfaction: Our goal is your complete satisfaction. In the event that a job is not satisfactorily
completed, it is the customer’s responsibility to notify TKPS as soon as possible so that we can look into
the matter and resolve it quickly.
NOTE: We have a full staff of competent repair mechanics capable of repairing all in ground spas,
heaters, filters, pumps, salt generators, plumbing, electrical components, automatic controls, pool
lights, time clocks, and more.
NOTE: We try to maintain a chlorine level above 3 ppm and a PH level of 7.2-7.8.
NOTE: The pool does not need to be drained to repair or replace a pool light. We might get to go
swimming though!

MONTHLY POOL SERVICE AGREEMENT
This acknowledgement of receipt form must be signed and received by TKPS before your first date of service will
begin. A check mark is required by each of the following before monthly service can be started.

Full Service Letter of Understanding which explains how both parties will work together to maintain your pool on
