Extensive genealogy studies led them to renew ties to his English cousins, visiting them in the Peak district and hosting their visit to the USA. These life facts cannot fully express the reality of who this man was as a doctor, husband, father and friend. We all love you and will miss you so much. You will be with us forever. Utter | John Elsworth Utter, resident of Owasso, passed away Monday, January 6, 2014, in Tulsa at the age of 68 years. John was born February 19, 1945, to Charles Leander and Thelma (Seeds) Utter at Afton, OK. He was raised and received his education in Afton. Following high school, John moved to Dallas, Texas. He later attended Okmulgee Technology School. On August 4, 1972, John was united in marriage to Susan Misner in Tulsa. They made their home in Tulsa before moving to Broken Arrow. Owasso has been home since 1978. John worked 21 years for McDonnell – Douglas as a tool and cutter grinder, following the closure of McDonnell, he then worked 17 years as a maintenance and welder for Thermal Windows, Inc. John was a member of Central Baptist Church in Owasso. He had a passion for rebuilding classic cars and enjoyed woodworking, especially making wooden clocks. Those that survive include his wife – Susan of the home; children – Duane Clocker and wife, Terry of Lantana, TX, Joey Baker and husband, Scott of Owasso, Maxine Hardie | Maxine Hardie passed away on January 5, 2014. Preceded in death by her loving husband of 46 years, Fred and an infant daughter, Ramona Ann. She is survived by her children: Steven and Betty Hardie, Andrea and Don Martin, Robert and Norma Hardie; 6 grandchildren; and 11 great-grandchildren. Hall graduated from Muskegon Heights High School, President of the Senior Class, Graduate Northwestern University, Evanston, IL, President Wrangler-Alpha Delta Phi Senior Year, Graduate of Northwestern University Medical School, B.M. and M.D. in Chicago, IL. Member of Nu Sigma Nu Medical Fraternity. He interned at St. Luke’s Hospital in Chicago, IL. Held residencies in Chicago Maternity Center and Wesley Memorial Hospital. While at Chicago Maternity Center, helped oversee some 8000 home births in Chicago tenements. He was a Captain of the U.S. Army Medical Corps., Base light surgeon, San Bernardino CA, Air Material Area. Hall married Margaret Arlene Danielson of Muskegon, MI on December 18, 1943. He practiced obstetrics and gynecology in Tulsa, 1952 to 1986.
