Whichever type of funeral or cremation you select, it is our purpose to complete them with the utmost dignity to the deceased and the concern for the survivors. The goods and services shown below are those we can provide to our customers. You may choose only the items you desire. However, any funeral arrangements you select will include a charge for our basic services and overhead. “SIMPLE BURIAL” VETERAN SERVICE OFFERING This charge includes basic services of funeral director and staff, local transfer of deceased to mortuary, refrigeration, casketing of the deceased, graveside service with military honors, funeral coach and service vehicle to Tahoma National Cemetery. $ 1,295.00 The selection of this offering includes a value savings of $580.00 off of the individual General Price List offerings
and a 10% discount towards the purchase of cemetery property and merchandise at Tacoma Mausoleum.

BASIC SERVICES OF FUNERAL DIRECTOR AND STAFF
$ 595.00 Our fee for basic services of funeral director and staff includes but is not limited to: Responding to initial request for service; conducting the arrangement conference, preparation of biographical and statistical data; examination of financial settlement options; preparation and filing of papers, permits and authorizations; coordinating with those providing other services; preparation and placement of obituary notices; retention and care prior to commencement of post death activities; overhead expenses relative to our facility and operations such as occupancy, administrative and equipment costs. This fee for our basic services and overhead will be added to the total cost of the funeral arrangements you selected. This fee is already included in our charges for direct cremations, immediate burials, and forwarding or receiving of remains. EMBALMING (including use of preparation room)
$ 395.00 Except in certain special cases, embalming is not required by law. Embalming may be necessary, however, if you select certain funeral arrangements, such as a funeral with viewing. If you do not want embalming, you usually have the right to choose an arrangement that does not require you to pay for it, such as direct cremation or immediate burial. $ 495.00 to $ 3,295.00 Our charge for direct cremation includes basic services of funeral director and staff, local transfer of deceased, refrigeration and crematory fee. This charge does not include the use of facilities and staff for any visitation, rites or ceremonies, public or private prior to cremation, or any sheltering for days on which no post death activities occur. These charges include the actual cost of the cremation process. If you want to arrange a direct cremation you can use an alternative container. Alternative containers encase the body and can be made of materials like fiberboard or composition materials. The containers we provide are cardboard, wood, wood composite, fiberboard, poplar, pine, pecan, walnut, oak, and cherry. Additional fee(s)/requirement(s) may be incurred for decedents weighing over 300 lbs.
