New center to create at least 250 new jobs
SAN JOSE, Calif., Oct. 15 /PRNewswire/ -- NetEnrich, the trusted brand
in Remote Infrastructure Management (RIM) services, today announced its
plans to open an R&D center and Network Operations Center (NOC) in Ann
Arbor, Mich. The new facility is expected to create in excess of 250 new
jobs in Michigan and is planned to be operational by the end of December
2008.
NetEnrich currently employs over 160 people in its offices and NOC
delivery centers worldwide in California, India, Japan and the UK.
"NetEnrich is extremely excited about the potential to create in excess
of 250 jobs near term in Ann Arbor, Michigan," said Raju Chekuri, NetEnrich
CEO. "The bigger opportunity for NetEnrich is to help American small to
medium enterprises better leverage IT technology and infrastructure to be
more competitive. Companies utilizing our shared services delivery center,
located in Ann Arbor, can reduce 30% to 50% of their IT operations costs.
These savings can be reinvested to make them more competitive and fuel
innovation and growth, thus creating additional jobs."
The R&D center will support product development including software
development and enhancements of NetEnrich's award-winning Virtual Private
Management Gateway (VPM/G). NetEnrich's Ann Arbor NOC will be staffed with
IT experts to provide remote IT services to customers in North America,
Japan and Europe. The new NOC will leverage NetEnrich's VPM/G technologies
to deliver its services and will bring further efficiencies and economies
to its shared services delivery model.
NetEnrich's innovative and patented VPM/G technologies enables remote
IT infrastructure management, and allows NetEnrich to significantly
automate its IT management services and deliver shared services from its
multiple global NOCs on a 24X7 basis. The high degree of automation
increases efficiencies and ultimately drives customers' IT costs down.
"When outsourcing of jobs to India and China is all the rage, NetEnrich
is bucking the trend and bringing jobs back to the US," added Chekuri. "Ann
Arbor, with its highly talented job pool, provides NetEnrich a strategic
base to meet service delivery needs of our key customers and augment our
R&D capabilities."
