Registered Music Therapists available for observational visits 2014 Observation placements are available for people interested in applying for entry to the Master of Music Therapy Course, The University of Melbourne. These Registered Music Therapists (RMTs) have volunteered to offer a short observational visit, typically of around 1 hour. It is a good idea to search these facilities on-‐line and read about the services they offer before you start contacting the RMTs. Please be patient and respectful in your communications, and understand that the times for observation may be extremely limited due to the sensitive nature of the work. The earlier you can organise an observation visit the better – avoid leaving it to just before your audition. We recommend that all applicants visit a music therapist before they apply for the course. On the next page is a report form for your visit. Please give it to the RMT and ask them to complete it and return to the Coordinator of Clinical Training.
