Avril Lavigne
th
After a two year hiatus, singer-songwriter Avril Lavigne is set to release her fourth studio album, ‘Goodbye Lullaby’ on 7
March 2011 via Columbia Records. The first single will be called ‘What the Hell’ and will debut on ‘Dick Clark’s Rockin’ New
Year’s Eve’.
For this album, Lavigne worked with previous collaborators Evan Taubenfeld and Butch Walker, as well as
songwriter/producer Max Martin. She also enlisted the help of ex husband, Deryck Whibley. She has always shared her
personal experiences through her writing and music, and ‘Goodbye Lullaby’ is no different.
Among its upbeat tracks are ‘What the Hell’, an unashamed embrace of fun and freedom, and ‘Stop Standing There’,
fuelled by an early-‘50s girl-group feel. The album shows a real mix of emotions: Lavigne expresses her gratitude for
special people in her life in rock track ‘Smile’, explores the dynamics of a relationship in ‘Push’, shows her vulnerable side in
‘Wish You Were Here’ and finds the strength to close one chapter of her life and move on to the next in the title track
‘Goodbye’.
As well as being a singer-songwriter, Avril is a successful entrepreneur who continues to design her own clothing brand,
Abbey Dawn, which has expanded massively and will soon be shipping to over 50 countries worldwide. She has also just
released a second fragrance, Forbidden Rose, as a follow up to her popular fragrance Black Star. She will be launching a
third fragrance in 2011.
In September, Avril created The Avril Lavigne Foundation, which works alongside leading charitable organisations to design
and deliver programs, raise awareness, and mobilise support for children and youth living with serious illnesses or
disabilities.
Since arriving on the music scene back in 2002, Avril Lavigne has left a lasting impression on the music community, selling
more than 30 million albums worldwide, earning eight Grammy nominations and seven Canadian Juno Awards. Her debut
album, ‘Let Go’, featured smash singles ‘Sk8r Boi’ and ‘Complicated’. Her 2004 release, ‘Under My Skin’, debuted at #1 on
the Billboard charts, as did her third album, ‘The Best Damn Thing’, which produced the #1 single ‘Girlfriend’ and gained
more than 130 million views on YouTube. She also ventured into the film world and wrote the song ‘Alice’ for Tim Burton’s
critically acclaimed Disney Film Alice in Wonderland.

Kasabian
Songwriter, producer and guitarist Sergio Pizzorno is obviously not busy enough being the brains behind one of
Britain’s most successful bands, Kasabian. He has now moved into the movie world and penned the score for
brand new crime thriller ‘London Boulevard’, as well as a number of standalone songs. As well as writing the
entire score, Sergio has also sung on some of the tracks featured on the soundtrack.
Directed by Oscar winning screenwriter (‘The Departed’) William Monahan, ‘London Boulevard’ stars a host of
British talent, including Colin Farrell, Keira Knightley, Anna Friel and Ray Winstone.
Across the last decade, Kasabian have released three albums, including last year’s Mercury Music Prize
nominated ‘West Ryder Pauper Lunatic Asylum’, which was widely recognised as one of the best albums of
2009. Kasabian were also named as the Best British Group at the 2010 BRIT Awards. Kasabian are currently
working on their highly anticipated fourth album, which will be released next year.
‘London Boulevard’ is a screen adaptation of Ken Bruen’s modern novel of the same name, produced by
Graham King, Tim Headington, Quentin Curtis and William Monahan and is released in the UK on November
26th through Entertainment Film Distributors Ltd.

Pete Yorn
Pete Yorn is set to release his new, self-titled album, through Because Music, on 7th February 2011. Produced by Frank
Black, the album features the single ‘Precious Stone’, which will be available on the 13th December. You can hear a sneak
preview of the new single here: http://soundcloud.com/peteyorn/precious-stone
The album is the follow-up to last year's releases; ‘Break Up’ and ‘Back & Fourth’. ‘Break Up’ was highly rated and saw Pete
collaborating with actress, Scarlett Johansson. Released earlier in the year, ‘Back & Fourth’ was also critically acclaimed
with Rolling Stone magazine stating that "Yorn has found his voice on 'Back & Fourth', a mostly acoustic beauty."
The upcoming album was recorded on the spur-of-the-moment in the summer of 2008. Yorn was in the process of
recording 'Back & Fourth' in Nebraska when he got an email from Black suggesting that they record some tracks together.
Excited by the prospect of working with Frank, Yorn headed to Salem where an impromptu studio was set up, and the
album recorded in just five days, despite the singer-songwriter-guitarist getting sick with the flu a mere two days into the
process. "Frank didn't give a shit about getting sick, so we stayed in the flow," recalls Yorn. "He has an incredible ability to
distil a song down to its core."
Frank said, "Pete told me he wanted to better define himself as an artist. I think he just wanted to rock out. But as we
headed down a path of realisation I stripped him down a whole bunch. We battled in the best sort of way. I tried to get the
session into a fearless and raw place, and to his artistic credit Pete took his songwriting to a fearless and raw place. This
listener will find his or herself sitting right next to Pete on the couch. And the record totally rocks out."

Periphery
Cutting edge, progressive Washington D.C six-piece Periphery are pleased to announce their League Of Extraordinary
Djentlemen tour, which sees them headline a string of UK dates for January and February 2011. Support comes from
home-grown lads TesseracT and Monuments.
Periphery’s guitarist, and lead songwriter Misha Mansoor, enthuses, “We are so excited to play in the UK, and especially so
with our buddies in Tesseract and Monuments. I have known Acle from Tesseract and Browne and Paul from Monuments
for like 5 years now, and it’s going to be awesome to not only tour with some good friends but in brand new places for
Periphery! This lineup will make for some fun shows, so be sure to come out and hang with all of us!!”
Combining nonconforming rhythms and technical accuracy with the brutality of progressive metal, Periphery released their
self-titled debut earlier this year. The band has recently been on tour with Lamb Of God, DevilDriver, Fear Factory and
Dillinger Escape Plan. They have also featured on the bill of US festivals Summer Slaughter and Thrash & Burn. Described by
the British music press as, ”a groundbreaking revelation” (Metal Hammer), “deliciously intricate” (Kerrang!), and
“intriguingly diverse” (Rocksound), this headline tour is one to add to your gig diary for 2011.
Guitarist, Jake Bowen, says "The requests for Periphery to play in the UK have been overwhelming since our debut came
out. And now not only do we get to tour there but we get be in the presence of fantastic musicianship from some of our
good friends. Metal tours are seldom matched up this well so don't miss out!"
Having just spent time supporting the renowned Devin Townsend in the USA and Canada, Century Media’s TesseracT are
ready to take the UK by storm. With an EP release and an EU tour under their belt, they are looking forward to a busy
touring schedule in 2011 and the release of their debut full length album, "One". The band said: "After many years of hard
work it is finally happening! A TesseracT and Periphery tour! Since Acle and Misha started talking all those years ago, you
just knew it would come eventually. We cannot wait to show the UK exactly what both bands are about, and are very
happy at the prospect of sharing the stage with such a great band."
Basick Records artist Monuments have also been working on their debut album, holed away in South Lincolnshire at Studio
33. The band recently played the Euroblast Festival in Cologne and is currently touring in Europe supporting Winds of
Plague.
Tickets go on sale on Wed 10th November and are priced at £10 for all shows, excluding London which is £12.

“(Kyuss are) something like a heavy metal equivalent to the Velvet Underground” – Allmusic
Kyuss is an influential stoner rock band who formed in the late 1980s and need no introduction, having produced some of
the most celebrated, inspirational and influential music to come out of the Palm Desert scene.
Their milestone 1992 album, ‘Blues for the Red Sun’, typified the genre and has been critically acclaimed by the press and
fans alike. This album is a must for any discerning rock record collection. Kyuss’ legacy continues with previous members
having played with the likes of Queens of the Stone Age, Them Crooked Vultures, Fu Manchu, Brant Bjork and The Bros,

Following the hugely successful 2010 ‘John Garcia Plays Kyuss tour’, Garcia (vocals) along with original Kyuss members Nick
Oliveri (bass) and Brant Bjork (drums) came together as Kyuss Lives! The bands line-up is completed by Bruno Fevery on
guitar.

Plain White T’s
‘Wonders of the Younger' album out Dec 6th
‘Rhythm of Love' single out Dec 5th
London headline show @ The Borderline - Nov 25th
When asked about the Chicago band’s forthcoming Hollywood Records release, ‘Wonders of the Younger’, due out
th
December 6 , Plain White T’s front man, Tom Higgenson, said “It’s all about pushing the boundaries of our creativity and
musical imagination combined with a dose of nostalgia.”
He calls the album, now in the last stages of recording, and produced by Ian Kirkpatrick, “a collection of songs designed to
evoke the feeling of awe and the yearning for adventure remembered from youth.”
Higgenson, talking of the album, says “It’s still very much a Plain White T’s album. The songs are sincere and melodic, no
matter what the subject matter. We want to create an experience that takes our fans to an unexpected place while still
giving them songs to sing along to.”
‘Wonders of the Younger' has a different sound to the one that resulted in hits like the twice Grammy nominated “Hey
There Delilah” and “1-2-3-4”, including the summery first single, “Rhythm of Love” (out Dec 5th) written by guitarist Tim
Lopez. They’re also branching into some adventurous new territory. It was during a performance of Cirque du Soleil’s “O”
that Higgenson caught during a trip to Vegas that prompted an idea for the new set. “It just woke something up in me – this
wonder,” the singer/guitarist/songwriter recalls. “It was dark yet nostalgic. I thought, I want to make an album that gives
people this feeling.”
Fans who’ve heard “Welcome to Mystery,” the band’s input to the ‘Almost Alice’ compilation that went along with Tim
Burton’s 3D blockbuster “Alice in Wonderland”, will have a hint of where the band is headed. The track’s mysterious
sound, Higgenson says, is the essence of the band’s new approach. “We’ve been fans of Tim Burton’s since ‘Beetlejuice,’ so
just being associated with the movie was amazing,” he elaborates. “It also offered us the opportunity to give people a taste
of what we’re doing now.”
The album’s concept has had such an effect on the band that Higgenson actually built and decorated the recording studio
in the basement of his Chicago home with ‘Wonders of the Younger’ entirely in mind. “I don’t know if this has ever been
done,” he muses. “The studio looks like a haunted mansion – gold chandeliers, red wallpaper with a gaudy fleur-de-lys
pattern, a brown couch that looks like something out of Sherlock Holmes.” The overall design of the space, he explains, has
helped cultivate an atmosphere of creative exploration.
“We’re focused on writing great songs that resonate with what the band has become. If you listen to it in your car or on
headphones, we want it to feel like a big, flowing rollercoaster ride – where you never quite know what’s coming next.”

The worst part was that it was a cold day, which as a bloke, doesn't do you any favours... oh yeah, and some poor sod spent
about 8 hours painting each individual square on the chequered floor the day before the shoot! “

"The song that Fergie sings on the record (Beautiful Dangerous) is a very hard rock song and was written to a stripper
kind of beat, tailor-made for a girl that has balls. Her singing blew my mind…she’s got this killer rock ‘n’ roll voice” –
Slash on Fergie
In May of this year, iconic rock guitarist Slash released his debut, self titled solo album. The album features a roster of
outstanding guest musicians including Chris Cornell, Fergie, Dave Grohl, Myles Kennedy, Kid Rock, Lemmy Kilmister, Duff
McKagan, Ozzy Osbourne and Iggy Pop. Slash also brought on board producer Eric Valentine (Queens of Stone Age), bassist
Chris Chaney (Jane’s Addiction) and drummer Josh Freese (Nine Inch Nails). Slash was responsible for the majority of the
song writing on the album, and handpicked each guest artist. The album was released to extensive critical acclaim and saw
Slash headlining a sold out UK tour as well as show stealing performances at Download, Glastonbury and Wireless festivals
in the UK with Myles Kennedy.
“Beautiful Dangerous” will be released by Roadrunner Records, as a single, in February 2011, and features an outstanding
vocal performance from Fergie (Black Eyed Peas), which will surprise many, and an equally compelling video. The track is
sure to become one of the top singles of 2011. You can watch the video here http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=X85UUDhZaCw
To tie in with the single release, Roadrunner will also release a special edition of the Slash album in a CD/DVD format. The
CD will feature the full album plus exclusive acoustic versions of “Back To Cali” (Slash), “Fall To Pieces” (original by Velvet
Revolver) and “Sweet Child O’ Mine” (originally GnR) all featuring the amazing Myles Kennedy from Alter Bridge on vocals.

SLASH BACKGROUND
Slash is widely considered one of the greatest rock guitar players of all time. He has received countless accolades and
awards including a 2007 star on the Hollywood Walk of Fame alongside his idols Jimmy Page and Jimi Hendrix. An original
member of iconic rock band Guns N’ Roses, Slash helped the band create signature sounds like the guitar riff of #1 hit
“Sweet Child o’ Mine” and “Welcome To The Jungle.” The band dominated the 1980’s and 90’s music scene selling more
than 100 million albums worldwide and ushered in a decade of hard charging rock music. After the band’s break-up, Slash
went on to critical acclaim in his personal project Slash’s Snakepit, and global success with supergroup Velvet Revolver. He
has been widely sought after by the biggest musicians of all time, performing with everyone from Michael Jackson to Stevie
Wonder to Ray Charles. Slash is one of the marquee playable characters in Guitar Hero III, has two signature Gibson guitars
in his name, and authored his own top-selling biography Slash in 2007.

Talk About Body - The debut album released Monday 31 January 2011
MEN are a Brooklyn-based band and art/performance collective comprising of core members JD Samson (Le Tigre),
Michael O’Neill (Ladybug Transistor) and Ginger Brooks Takahashi (LTTR). Their eagerly anticipated debut album, Talk
st
About Body, is set to be released on Monday 31 January on IAMSOUND.
The group began in 2007, with the DJ/production/remix team of Le Tigre members JD Samson and Johanna Fateman. With
Le Tigre taking some time out, when the duo began to write new songs, it made sense to merge their efforts with JD's
other new project Hirsute. JD and Hirsute members Michael and Ginger now make up the core of MEN, with Johanna and
artist Emily Roysdon contributing as writers, consultants and producers. The band focuses on the energy of live
performance and radical potential of dance music. Their music speaks of issues such as wartime economies, sexual
compromise and the demand for liberties through lyrical content and an inventive, high energy stage show.
Kicking off with the lyrically-charged “Life’s Half Price,” Talk About Body showcases the band’s ability to blend multiple
influences, from the funky electronic of “Make It Reverse” to the guitar-laden dance floor funk of “Boom Boom Boom,” all
the while maintaining the lyrical bite that has made MEN such a thrilling proposition. The album also features debut single
“Credit Card Babies” and second single “Off Our Backs” – a sure-fire hit pop anthem - with its rousing chorus (“I’m/A
tease/We’re flipping can’t you see”) and instantly unforgettable melody.
MEN have recently toured the U.S with both Peaches and Gossip, and have concluded two extensive European tours. With
their explosive live shows, MEN look set to take 2011 by storm.

Within Temptation
Within Temptation is currently in the studio finishing their long anticipated fifth studio album with producer Daniel
Gibson. Titled "The Unforgiving", this is the band's first concept album and is based on a comic book story written by script
writer Steven O'Connell (BloodRayne, Dark 48).
The album will be released next spring by Roadrunner Records and will coincide with the band's European tour, including a
show at London’s Brixton Academy on March 30.
Guitarist Robert Westerholt says, "On this album, we've taken a totally different approach. Each song on "The Unforgiving"
was written along Steven's narrative. The main characters of the comic reflect the characters of our songs. The concept
pushed us; it gave us inspiration to come up with a new approach to our sound. The result is we’ve written our best songs
yet.”
Famous for their visual presentation, Within Temptation have asked Romano Molenaar (Witchblade, Darkness, and X-Men)
to pen the characters and scenery of "The Unforgiving".
Vocalist, Sharon den Adel, adds, "We have been big comic fans since our childhood. With this album, we felt the time was
right to take a stride in our creative development, to broaden our horizons. Aside of the whole concept on this album, the
songs go in more different directions than ever before. The late '80's, when we first started to read comic books, has
certainly also left its mark on the sound of our new album.”
In advance of the new album being released, the band has re-launched their website, www.within-temptation.com. The
site will be the hub for fans to get information on the band, new album as well as early access to the first images for "The
Unforgiving". The new site is unusual, being closer in style to a news channel than a band website. One of the new features
is that fans can interact fully with the site. They can become official reporters for their country, writing news stories in
relation to the band, but also about other lifestyle or entertainment topics. A very popular new section is ‘WT TV’, where
the band updates their fans through filmed interviews or documentaries, such as the recent Fan Club Day footage which
fans from around the world attended.
Within Temptation's symphonic rock has given the band a decade-long international career and seen them become one of
the most popular bands of their genre.

Tickets for Rush went on sale 9am GMT Friday 26 November 2010
RUSH is Geddy Lee, Alex Lifeson and Neil Peart. They are, without a shadow of a doubt, one of the most imaginative and
compelling groups in rock history, famous for both outstanding musicianship and thought provoking song writing. They are
one of rock’s most influential bands, ranking third for most consecutive gold and platinum albums behind The Beatles and
The Rolling Stones. The band has thousands of devoted fans from all over the world, and is admired by generations of
musicians.
They will bring their revered 3 ½ hour ‘Time Machine’ tour to the UK with shows in Glasgow, Sheffield, Manchester,
Newcastle, Birmingham and London in May 2011.
The ‘Time Machine’ tour is an audience with Rush, where they will perform their classics and, for the first time ever in the
UK, play the entire ‘Moving Pictures’ album live.
The North American leg of the tour kicked off in June of 2010 and led to Rush ranking #1 on Billboard’s “Hot Tours” chart.
They then headed to South America, all the while European fans demanding that the tour come over here.
“’Moving Pictures’ is our most popular album and it’s the one that seems to have passed the test of time most gracefully,”
observes singer/bassist Geddy lee. “We’re playing better than ever, and I’m not sure we’re quite ready to put that tour
away,” he adds.
‘Moving Pictures’ was released back in 1981 and is the band’s most successful album, certified 4x Platinum and features
some of Rush’s most well known songs including ‘Tom Sawyer’, ‘Limelight’ and the Grammy-nominated instrumental ‘YYZ’.
In September 2010, Eagle Vision released ‘2112 & Moving Pictures – Classic Albums’ on both DVD and Blu-ray as part of
their celebrated Classic Albums series.
th
Despite a busy touring schedule, Rush is also working on their 20 studio album, ‘Clockwork Angels’. The band has released
two new songs from the forthcoming album, ‘BU2B’ and ‘Caravan’, both of which are featured live in the ‘Time Machine’
tour set list. Both tracks are available now as digital downloads.
‘Rush: Beyond The Lighted Stage’, the highly praised documentary created by filmmakers Scot McFadyen & Sam Dunn
(whose filmography also includes: “Iron Maiden; Flight 666,’ “Metal, A Headbangers Journey” and “Global Metal”),
th
premiered at New York’s Tribeca Film Festival on April 24 2010 and won the highly coveted Heineken Audience award.
Now available on DVD and blu-ray through Universal Music, the release debuted at No 1 in the USA (a position it held for
10 weeks) and No 2 in the UK.
The documentary features incredible archival footage and interviews with some of today’s most respected rock artists such
as Trent Reznor, Sebastian Bach, Kirk Hammett, Jack Black and Gene Simmons. It also explores the forty-year career and
phenomenon behind what could be the world’s biggest cult band, from their early days in Toronto, through each of their
landmark albums, to the present day.
The band also appeared in the comedy ‘I Love You Man’ where they play themselves in a concert scene featuring actors
Paul Rudd and Jason Segal as huge fans, a performance which has exposed the band to a whole new generation.
Rush were also inducted into the Canadian Songwriters Hall of Fame this past March alongside Joni Mitchell and Leonard
Cohen, and have been nominated for multiple Grammy awards and won a number of Juno Awards. They were inducted
into the Canadian Music Hall of Fame in 1994 and bestowed the Order of Canada in 1997. Consistently celebrated and
respected worldwide, Rush is the most successful Canadian rock band of all time and they remain one of the biggest
grossing arena rock bands ever.
Earlier this month, Rush received the Legends of Live award at the Billboard Touring Awards in New York City. This was
followed by Rush receiving the Living Legend award at the 2010 Classic Rock Awards in London (the first time this award
has ever been presented to a band, previous recipients include Jimmy Page, Ozzy Osbourne and Alice Cooper).

Twin Atlantic
Glaswegian band, Twin Atlantic, will kick off 2011 with their first headline tour of the year. They are in the process of
finalising their highly anticipated debut album at the Red Bull Studio in Santa Monica, which is being produced by Gil
Norton (Foo Fighters, Pixies).
“We are really looking forward to this tour. We have supported so many bands over the last year with next to no headline
shows & that has made us really miss the vibe & community of our wee fan base. This is us getting back to what we do best
and it is only made all the better that we have just finished recording our debut full-length album. We will be playing some
new songs that define the new direction for us, and we can't wait to let people hear what we have been working on. To top
it off, it'll be great to be back on the road with Tom DeLonge and Angels & Airwaves for the shows in Europe." - Sam

Of Mice and Men
So-Cal rockers, OF MICE & MEN, are set to return to the UK in April. With original vocalist Austin Carlile back on board, this
is sure to be an unmissable tour. They share the bill with Asking Alexandria and Chelsea Grin.
The band comments,
“With having recently made amends with our original vocalist, Austin Carlile, and not after discussing all of our previous
disputes and issues we’ve had with each other (like any other relationship, it’s not always a friendly exchange of happy
words) we’ve collectively decided to return to, or as close to, our original lineup as we could. To be put simply, both OM&M
and Austin want to make another album together because we want give our fans the familiar sound they loved about our
first album and build upon that for our follow up. We were willing to put our differences aside and re-establish our
friendship and love for making music together. We also want to give you all the chance to hear our first album the way it
was intended to be heard since due to prior circumstances. Well, that’s all in the past now!
We greatly appreciate all of our fans sticking with us in 2010 and supporting the band with Jerry. We are also very grateful
that he stepped up to the plate for us and helped us get through the relentless touring schedule we had. With that being
said, we are all extremely excited to be reunited and are going to make another album we are proud of, just like the first
and we hope you are too! There’s no behind the scenes anything, no huge fall out or disrespect towards anyone, contrary to
what you may think or have read/heard. We just want to make the best album we possibly can and we are confident that
together, with the reformed lineup, we will be able to make something amazing.
We have also added a new member, Alan Ashby, who will be playing guitar. Assuming the position of bass will be Shayley
which as many of you saw on a couple Warped Tour dates was an easy transition for him. He will, of course, still be singing.
Tino is on drums, Phil is on guitar and Austin is screaming. A freshly reformed OM&M for 2011. We are really excited for you
to see what we are doing, how we do it, and what to expect!”

Anberlin
Back in 2007, Anberlin released what most feel is their best album to date, Cities, which propelled them to stardom.
However their major-label debut on Universal Republic in 2008, New Surrender, came out a as run of the mill and relatively
safe album.
Produced at Blackbird Studios in Nashville, Dark is the Way, Light is a Place is Anberlin's fifth studio album and their first
collaboration with Grammy Award - winning producer Brendan O'Brien (Papa Roach, Stone Temple Pilots, Bruce
Springsteen). O'Brien's power-pop influence can most notably be felt on the album's first release, "Impossible", which is
still climbing the charts.
Frontman Stephen Christian’s promise that this album would be darker, edgier and essentially better than New Surrender,
sort of missed the mark in detailing its sound as, in my opinion, the album is not all that dark or edgy as a whole. In fact,
the first half mostly comprises of tracks seemingly tailor-made for Top-40 radio.
Having said that, existing fans will instantly find something to love in the opening track We Owe This To Ourselves. With
what is easily the biggest and best riff on the album, this song rocks hard and intensely with a catchy, intricate chorus. This
track reached ultimate popularity after it was used as the main theme for this summer’s X-Games on ESPN. The other rifffest on the album is To the Wolves and, while the drum machines and loops in the verse are dubious, the guitars and huge
chorus make this song something that screams to be experienced live.
For a ten track album, Dark Is The Way... does feel a little short and, with a few inferior track in the mix, it certainly isn't a
perfect album. In terms of how it compares to their previous work, it feels fairly obvious that Cities still has yet to be
outdone, but those who were disappointed by New Surrender have the potential to be won back by the rock quintet's
latest effort.
Anberlin are touring the UK this month. You can check them out at one of the following shows:

Voodoo Hussy
Voodoo Hussy formed in London in 2006 and, after a few member changes, they finally settled on singer Shabby EliotKatchadourian, guitarists Liz Moses and Romina 'Pyro' Aileru, bassist Naj Bueno and drummer Martin Woodward. For the
last 4 years, Voodoo Hussy has eclipsed the London scene with their punk-rock cabaret sound.
Following front woman Shabby's appearance on Channel 4's 11th and final series of Big Brother in 2010, punk fans were
able to discover one of the underground scene's best kept secrets.
They have played at some legendary London venues such as Cargo, LA2, Clapham Grand and the Islington Academy, whilst
keeping up festival appearances at London Pride 07, Vibration Festival 07 and an unforgettable headline performance at
Brighton Pride 2010 to some 2,000 fans.
The band is now about to embark on a 7 date UK tour in November/December in support of their debut single 'Say You
Love Me'. You can catch their performance, deemed ‘too rock and roll’ by the organisers of the Jack Daniels unsigned band
competition, at one of the following shows:

SAT 27 NOV - LONDON - The Relentless Garage (rescheduled date)

Corey Taylor
The one and only Corey Taylor, front man of Stone Sour and Slipknot, is to release his first solo single, titled ‘X-M@$’
through Roadrunner Records on 12th December.
How did one of rock’s most untouchable front men decide to record a Christmas single? Corey explains, “I wrote this song
in my kitchen one winter, listening to people bitch about the holidays. Personally, I love the holidays, but they seem to bring
on severe stress in most people. So, I wrote this in honour of crotchety, drunken bastards who don't know the difference
between a yuletide and a tool shed. Plus, I think it's funny. I bet the UK will too. They're some of my favourite people in the
world.”
Last month, during a rare gap in the Stone Sour UK tour, Corey headed over to Metropolis Studios in Chiswick, West
London, and recorded the track in a single afternoon. The lyrics show Corey’s sense of humour and cheek in full force,
hilariously pointing a finger at the Scrooges of the world. However, Taylor’s fun doesn’t stop with just the lyrics, as he even
drops a sneaky ‘Hi Simon!!’ in the single’s fade-out, as a nod to Mr Cowell and his Xmas-hijacking X-Factor squad.
Check out a stream of the track here: http://snd.sc/gQOrv6
You’ll be able to pick up ‘X-M@$’ from all leading digital retailers, including iTunes, Amazon.co.uk and Play.com and,
generously, Corey has decided to donate proceeds from the Christmas sales to Teenage Cancer Trust.
Meanwhile, Corey and the rest of Stone Sour have been travelling around Europe, on a 10-date sold-out UK run that took
on Glasgow’s SECC arena, Birmingham’s NIA and finished with two nights at London’s famous Hammersmith Apollo. At
one of the Hammersmith shows, Roadrunner Records presented the band with gold discs for last album, ‘Come What(ever)
May’, whilst new album, ‘Audio Secrecy’, which debuted on the UK album chart at No.6 on its release in September,
continues to fly off the shelves. The video for current single, ‘Digital (Did You Tell)’ can be seen on all decent music TV
channels now.
Look out for the video for ‘X-M@$’ and an interview with Corey about the single at www.roadrunnerrecords.co.uk from
6th December.

‘We all like to think that, at some point in our lives, the planets will align and everything we planned for and dreamed of will
finally happen. The four members of BFMV have recently been in the odd position of not only being certain that such a day
is coming for them, but also knowing exactly when it’s coming. Because, without question, Fever is that day’s sunrise.’ –
