Ther-Biotic® Children’s Chewable is a broad-spectrum, hypoallergenic probiotic supplement
designed for children two years of age and older. The convenient, naturally flavored chewable
tablets deliver potent amounts of 4 Lactobacillus and 4 Bifidobacterium species that benefit

Gastrointestinal disorders are common in children and may range from mild bouts of constipation,
diarrhea, and stomach upset to more serious conditions such as IBD and celiac disease. The eight
probiotic species in Ther-Biotic® Children’s Chewable work together to help normalize intestinal
motility, modulate inflammation within the gut, and antagonize pathogenic organisms by directly
competing for nutrients and living space as well as secreting antimicrobial substances such as
bacteriocins and hydrogen peroxide.

Normal maturation of the immune system is highly dependent upon development of a healthy
intestinal microbiota. However, children’s immune systems are continuously challenged by infectious
microbes, allergens and irritants in foods, chemical toxins, and overuse of medications that can
easily disrupt intestinal microbalance. The substantial amounts of Lactobacillus and Bifidobacterium
in this formula support a normal microflora as well as augment multiple aspects of immune function

Ther-Biotic® Children’s Chewable provides a variety of probiotic species that support appropriate
immune responses by balancing T helper (Th1, Th2, and Th17) activity and inducing secretion
of regulatory cytokines from T regulatory (Treg) cells. Probiotics included also contribute to
immune tolerance by limiting exposure to environmental antigens through enhanced integrity
of the intestinal mucosal barrier and breakdown of immune-provoking peptides such as found
in casein and gluten.

Children’s Chewable provides Lactobacillus species that normally reside in the oral cavity and

SUGGESTED USE

STORAGE
