We are proud to have worked on and supported a new waterfowl history
book coming out soon. Many well known experts have helped with the
project, Graber and Raedeke come to mind off the top of my head. The
book will come in paperback and a deluxe leather bound edition will be
available.

We have made it to the summer and waterfowl things are starting to happen! Coming up next Wednesday Andy Raedeke of MDC will keep us
informed of things going on nation wide along with some questions about
an after season survey being compiled by MDC.
July 12th will be the drawing for blinds on the Upper Mississippi.
Drawing will be held at Busch HQ. MVDHA will have a table for memberships and information. See Joe Tubbs and give him a hand.

CFM’s 8th Annual Pull For Conservation Sporting Clays Classis
has been set for August 9, 2014.
The CFM shoot committee is already planning to ensure this
year’s late summer event continues to grow. Columbia Bass Pro
Shops is once again providing the

great time at River Hills Sporting
Clays.

VANDALIA, IL – Illinois Conservation Police have arrested three
men in connection with a March
duck poaching incident at Carlyle
Lake Wildlife Management Area
near Vandalia.
Steven Dean of Granite City,
along with Bradley Peters and
Daniel Groves of Wood River,
were arrested on April 25. The
three men face felony charges for
their alleged involvement in the
illegal killing of more than 30

6. The illegal killings included
northern pintail and mallard species and left several ducks crippled.
