Do you wish you had a place to sell the unique and wonderful objects you’ve made?
The Lancaster Handmade Market is a monthly outdoor market supporting locally-made arts and crafts, located at the
corner of Broad & Main, by the bandstand in the center of historic downtown.
We are looking for Ohio artists and craftspeople to display and sell their high-quality products. All types of goods are
welcome, including but not limited to ceramics, paintings, photography, jewelry, metalwork, fabric, stone, woodwork, and
more.

MUST be handmade in Ohio. No resell (buy and sell) permitted. Work will be juried.

fee $25/day or $125 for all six days

must provide their own tables, chairs, display items and anything else for their booth.

Since we are such a small market, we have a policy of non-competition between vendors. While at huge art festivals
like the Columbus Art Fair it's not a problem to have several vendors selling competitive products, it just doesn't work
at our Market. Therefore, if we already have a vendor selling a very similar item to yours, we cannot accept your
application for the same date.
Market visitors will be able to shop at both the Handmade Market and the Farmer's Market in one easy stroll
downtown. We are very close to The Sherman House, The Georgian Museum, The Decorative Arts Center of Ohio,
the Glass Museum of Ohio, AHA - A Children's Museum, and many wonderful downtown restaurants.

You must send three (3) photos or color photocopies for us to jury your products. While you may enclose them with
your application, we prefer that you email photos to [email protected]. Only items handcrafted
in Ohio by YOU the artisan are being accepted at this time. No resell is permitted. If images are not provided your
application will not be considered..
Space fee for the 2014 season is $25/day or $125/season of all 6 dates (check each day you would like a space)

SPACE FEES: Space fee is payable in advance. Your full space fee will be returned if you are not accepted to the
Market. Once you have been accepted and committed to specific dates, your prepaid booth fees are forfeit if you are
unable to participate on your committed dates.
For your fee the Market will provide only one 10ft x 10ft space. You must bring your complete set-up including tent (if used) tables, chair and anything else you need for display. For your safety, as well as that of your fellow vendors and
our customers, all tents must be weighted. We can show you how to make inexpensive weights. Vendor is responsible
for providing all display items and merchandise, setting up and tearing down booth and attending the booth during
Market hours from 9am-1pm. PLEASE DO NOT LEAVE EARLY. Market is rain or shine, no refunds of space fees
due to weather.
Completion of this application does not guarantee acceptance to the Lancaster Handmade Market. Vendors will be selected at the
discretion of the Lancaster Handmade Market Committee, who will jury all applications and may accept or reject some or all of the work.
Any new items that have not previously been approved must be submitted for approval at least one week prior to the Market at which you
wish to introduce them. All applicants will be notified by email or mail. Additional information will be distributed at that time to accepted
vendors.
