The Fox Valley Garden Club has plants from member’s gardens, as well as annuals and
perennials from a nursery available for sale at reasonable prices. Additionally, over 40
vendors offer annuals, perennials, vegetable plants, garden and yard art, garden related
crafts, bird houses and feeders, and more. Food is also available.
Mike Nowak, Illinois Master Gardener and columnist for Chicagoland Gardening
Magazine will be at the Gardener’s Sale talking gardening in his very entertaining style
at 9:00 a.m. followed by a meet and greet. Mark your calendar for this special
opportunity to hear this gardening guru talk all things green and in the garden.
Mike tells everyone “I’m not really a garden expert, I just play one on the radio.” Yet he
has been named as one of the Top 5 Male Green talk show hosts on radio. If you miss his
talk, you can tune in to hear Mike as the host of “The Mike Nowak Show” on Sundays
from 9 to 11 a.m. on Chicago’s Progressive Talk, WCPT 820 AM and 92.5, 92.7 and 99.9
