CULTURAL CRAWL 2012 – TOFINO
CULTURAL CRAWL 2012 – TOFINO The Tofino Public Market - "Make it, Bake it, Grow it, or Gather it" Vendors from Tofino, Ucluelet, across Van Isle and beyond showcase their artisan wares in a festive atmosphere. There's live music on the Gazebo and lots of fresh, local food. We present public-interactive, art workshops with a focus on First Nation's mediums like carving, weaving and painting. Great for kids big and small, come join the fun on Tofino's beautiful Village Green every Saturday from the May long-weekend to the end of September between 10:00 AM and 2:00 PM. http://www.tofinomarket.com The Tofino Lantern Festival 7:00 pm to 10:30 pm Sunday, August 26th, 2012 Tofino Botanical Gardens Held at the Tofino Botanical Gardens in late August each year, the Tofino Lantern Festival is the Raincoast Education Society's 'signature' community event and fundraiser, drawing the young and old with an unbelievable variety of handmade lanterns.
