We have spent years to develop this bass. It is our interpretation of a classic. This bass is not a look-alike, it is a
total redesign of the original concept. This is truly a De Gier. We tried to keep the feel and looks of the original
as our reference. But for instance the neck is built like other De Gier basses. You will find this bass very easy to
play, thick tone with low setup. There are many small details that we changed to our style. The result is the De
Gier BeBop, that is not the next copy, but an original in itself. Perhaps that is why Marcus Miller took our first
and Richard Bona our second. So, which one will you take?

De Gier/Vanderkley Fatboost

The fatboost is an active but subtle bass boost. It is designed to keep the sound as close as possible to
the original passive sound. The boost is activated by a switch and gives you a 6dB boost of low
frequencies. It is ultra low noise. The result is as if your passive sound grew up intstantly.
