All instruments purchased from Weissman Music receive the
Manufacturer’s Warranty, the Weissman Warranty, professional

by the most experienced and knowledgeable technicians in the
industry who are well known for their innovation, thoroughness
and attention to detail. Our repair center operates first and
foremost as a service to our loyal clients.
We have two flute studios – one in Manhattan’s Chelsea area
and another in Fresh Meadows, Queens (very close to LaGuardia
and John F. Kennedy airports). Sales and repairs are by private

a travel allowance up to $150 on purchases of $2500 or

The only way to choose an instrument is to try it....
The Weissman Exclusive Custom Set Up is performed by our finest and most
experienced technicians to bring your flute beyond its peak playing potential.
We are honored to have you try our fine selection of flutes and/or piccolos
from the most revered and sought after companies in the industry.
Our team of flute and piccolo artisans will fine tune your instrument based on
your playing style, tastes and needs.
Instruments are available for a 4-day trial period with credit card
authorization. A shipping fee plus insurance is charged for delivery of the
instruments to you. If you are returning instruments from trial, please insure
the package for the total retail value of all instruments. If the value exceeds
$5000.00, insure the package for $5,000.00 only. A cost-effective return
label can be included for an additional charge.
The Weissman Exclusive Custom Set Up gives you:
• Customized tapered headjoint cork ensuring optimum resonance,
response and intonation.
• Padding to exacting tolerance levels providing perfect sealing and
longevity of adjustments.
• Voicing of keys and balancing of action for proper venting and even
response.
• Headjoint and footjoint tenon fitting.

Weissman Music respectfully requests that you please:
• Remove all jewelry before playing to prevent any scratches
• Wipe the connecting barrels and tenons of the flutes each time before
assembly to prevent gouges and scratches resulting from dust and dirt
• Dry the instruments after playing with a cleaning rod and lint free cloth
• Wipe the body and keys carefully to remove fingerprints
• Keep the instruments in its case for protection when not playing
• Do not subject wood instruments to extreme temperature changes
• Do not blow into wood instruments to warm them up
Please contact us regarding how you wish to proceed with the instruments on
trial by the fourth day. Please note that all sales are final. Some exceptions
may be made in extenuating circumstances if immediate notice is given per
Weissman Music’s discretion. A restocking fee of 10% and/or credit card fee
(if purchase was made with credit card) will apply.
Weissman Music reserves the right to charge for full cost of the instruments
on trial if they are lost, stolen or if there is no communication by the end of
the fourth day.
Any damage incurred to instruments due to accident, negligence or misuse
will be charged for repairs at the rate of $85 per hour.

selling price.
If the instrument is in poor condition, we recommend a professional servicing
so that the instrument is sellable.
The consignment fee includes but is not limited to:

When shipping an instrument to us, please use UPS or FedEx. Please do not

Shipping to and from Weissman Music is the responsibility of the individual

Warranty
Clean, Oil and Adjust (COA)
Weissman Warranty
We recommend a full servicing or Clean, Oil and Adjust (COA) every 12
months. This includes custom headjoint cork replacement, removal of lost
motion and leaks, adjustment of connections, basic oiling of joints and steels,
1/2 hour headjoint and footjoint fitting (flutes), light hand cleaning and
polishing.

Notice
Damage incurred by not following the below guidelines is not covered under
the Weissman and/or Manufacturers Warranty.
1. Remove all jewelry before playing to prevent any scratches
2. Dry the instruments after playing with a cleaning rod and lint free cloth
3. Wipe the body and keys carefully to remove fingerprints.
Use caution not to rip the pads by allowing the cleaning cloth to rub
against the pads when wiping the exterior of the flute.
4. Keep the instruments in its case for protection when not playing
