HydroTac may be covered with a retention dressing, such
as a crepe, cohesive or tubular bandage such as Peha-haft®. Secondary Dressings
To achieve maximum results, a wound dressing must allow
the wound to “rest”, therefore contributing to the healing
process. The dressing can be left on the wound for up
to three days. However, it should be changed sooner if
clinically indicated.
Frequency of Dressing Changes
Note: No known contraindications.
HydroTac is suitable to treat slight to moderately exuding
wounds in the early cleansing, granulation and
epithelialisation phase. HydroTac Comfort should be
used after a TenderWet® and/or PermaFoam® therapy.
HydroTac can normally be used until the wound is closed.
However, very dry wounds may be better treated with
Hydrosorb® Gel.
