Salon Policy
Allow plenty of time for your appointment. It is likely to take
longer due to the training and assessment process – which is
reflected in our prices.
Clients must have a skin sensitivity test 48 hours prior to hair
colour services and lash and brow tinting.
Please do not tip students directly. All tips are collected and
used towards educational trips and ventures through the
academic year. If you wish to contribute towards this, please
leave with a member of staff at Reception.
Babies and children under 16 are not allowed in any of
the salons and are not permitted to have hair and beauty
appointments for health and safety reasons.
Please do not request repeat appointments with the same
student as they all need to fulfil course assessments.
Please switch off your mobile phone at all times in the salon.
Highlands College Hairdressing and
Beauty Therapy department is proud to
be a Wella Training Centre of Excellence.
All of our services and treatments are
undertaken by students – from working
on Reception through to hairdressing
and beauty therapy.
Our students are undergoing continuous
training and assessment, supervised by
highly qualified tutors. In this training stage
your treatments may take longer than with
a fully qualified practitioner, so please allow
plenty of time for your appointment. We are
positive you will enjoy receiving excellent
services for very minimal prices.
