TRAVEL TRENDS REVEAlED
Travel is our passion and we never need an excuse to pack a bag! We’re
lucky enough to regularly share our experiences with everyone who wants
authentic travel recommendations and advice, but we asked our partners
Kuoni to reveal the results of their Travel Survey which gives us an insight
into the top five reasons why we travel and where we go:
Long-haul destinations have constant appeal
but one destination reigns supreme over all
others, and for the second year running that is
the magical islands of the Maldives.
The Maldives is Kuoni’s top-selling
destination, and the appeal of this archipelago
of paradise islands is clear: the warm Indian
Ocean is home to some 1, 200 idyllic islands
that offer the ultimate island hideaway.
‘This year there is a new Maldives
island of Kandolhu exclusive to
Kuoni guests in the UK. A tiny
picture perfect five-star island with
only 30 villas, a beautiful house reef
and an encircling sweep of bright
white sand. Small and stunning, with
amazing diving and snorkelling!’

trip imaginable. Now, with the Online Honeymoon Gift Service, it can also

contribute a monetary amount
towards the bride and groom’s
dream honeymoon plans, or if
the guest would prefer they can
also buy an individual gift from
a tailored menu of experiences,
all of which are handpicked

by the happy couple, to make
sure their incredible trip is filled
with unforgettable moments.
Once the honeymoon is booked
couples can create their unique

names, pictures and a short
message so guests can read
Travel Bureau | travelbureaugosforth.com
about their travel plans. Guests
can then go on the site to
contribute money, the amount
of which can only be seen by
the bridal couple, or guests can
buy an experience from the
drop down menu – be it scuba
diving in the Caribbean, sunset
balloon ride over the Serengeti,
a helicopter ride over New York
or even flight upgrades and
inflight champagne.
A pre-printed contact card
is provided to pop into
the wedding invites with
the unique URL for the
couple’s personalised page,
leaving guests to browse and
purchase securely at their own
convenience. Or if they want
to phone or go to the Travel

LUXURY TRAVEL TRENDS 2014
For over 30 years, Carrier has designed luxury tailor-made
holidays around the world. Based on their extensive knowledge,
experience and expertise, we asked them to look forward to the
coming months and predict the six big travel trends for 2014.
1
Local Life
Many leading resorts are now offering
guests authentic and cultural encounters
such as tribal dance lessons, allowing guests
to connect with local people.
2
Gourmet Discoveries
Numerous luxury resorts are rediscovering
their regional culinary traditions, while
guests are also being encouraged to
participate in cookery classes, wine tastings
and market tours.
3
Set- Jetting
Spirit of Adventure
Luxury resorts are increasingly appealing
to their guests’ sense of adventure, such
helicopter glacier flights in Canada, or
Caribbean beach retreats providing a
springboard to fly through the rainforest on
a zip-wire.
Luxury travellers can truly ‘lose’ themselves
in their favourite film or novel, with
renowned hotels that inspired literary or
cinematic classics inviting guests to live and
breathe their fictional pedigree.
4
6
Creative Collaborations
Partnerships with fashion brands are
starting to provide eye-catching results.
Louis Vuitton has its growing hotel portfolio,
Fendi and Karl Lagerfeld lent their creative
talent to shape hotel design, and luxury
resorts are finding themselves in style
supplements as much as the travel pages.

Simple pleasures
Savvy travellers know that a truly luxurious
holiday is not defined by status symbols but
by attaining a sense of mental, physical and
emotional wellbeing. An increasing number
of resorts are responding to this with an
array of facilities from holistic spa rituals
to bespoke library collections.
CONCIERGE
Real luxury travel means making use of a
Concierge – they are invaluable for their wealth
of knowledge and contacts which enable
them to create truly unique and unforgettable
memories. To complement the most ontrend luxury holidays there are of course
also negotiated special offers including free
nights, complimentary half-board and inresort benefits to ensure real value for money
alongside savings on premium class upgrades
with preferred partners. Alongside standard
services such as arranging seating requests,
spa treatments, ski lessons and equipment
hire, baby-sitting or car hire, Concierges
are also highly experienced in sourcing and
arranging more challenging requests such as:
Renewal of vows ceremony in the Maldives
Private ski instructors for
children and adults
VIP concert tickets in Las Vegas
Surprise birthday bush dinners
on safari in Africa
Jeep trips through The Grand Canyon
Fast track Universal passes in California

South Africa
SOUTH
AFRICA
This incredible country offers
breathtakingly diverse scenery,
cultures and visitor experiences,
making a holiday to South Africa
truly unforgettable.
WHERE TO GO
Many first-time visitors make a beeline for the
Cape, the Garden Route and Kruger National
Park, and with good reason, but this amazing land
also rewards a longer-than-usual stay, giving you a
chance to enjoy less well-known adventures such
as the scenery and battlefields of KwaZulu Natal
and the fascinating blend of cultures in Gauteng.
To see what is on offer try the Best of South Africa
tour, which includes Kruger, the KwaZulu Natal
battlefields and Cape Town.

‘Diamond prices are often
slightly lower than in
Europe, especially
at the production
sites of Cullinan
or Kimberley. Be
sure if you are
purchasing gold
that you are getting
18-carat gold and not
the more common 9-carat.
Other shopping opportunities
include masks, spears,
shields, paintings, sculpture,
pottery and bead necklaces.
Alternatively you might prefer
Indian spices and protea
flowers.’
BEST TIME TO VISIT
South Africa lies in the Southern
Hemisphere, therefore the seasons are
the reverse of those in the Northern
Hemisphere. December and January are
the main summer holiday months. In May
and June, autumn brings warm days and
cool nights. Autumn and spring are the best
seasons for hiking, and from the beginning of
July to the end of September you can expect
cold conditions in most of the country, and
rain in the Western Cape.
GOOD TO KNOW
If you plan on taking a safari, pack neutral
colours and make sure to bring layers, as
early morning starts can be chilly. It’s also
important to remember that when travelling
through parts of South Africa where malaria
is present you will need to have arranged
your anti-malarial medication (the game
reserves of the Eastern Cape and Madikwe
are malaria-free so good for families). Finally,
tipping is common all over South Africa
at between 10 and 15 percent for bars and
restaurants. Tipping is also expected for tour
guides, drivers and porters.

CANCUN
This former fishing village is
now a lively resort that lures
hedonists in search of perfect
beaches, designer malls
and incredible
nightlife. The
Hotel Zone
or Zona
Hotelera is
a bustling
strip of
bars,
dance

venues. From
mid-March to early
April American teens flock
to Cancun, keen to enjoy the
sunshine and beach life while
partying into the early hours.
During this time the resort can
get very busy.

RIVIERA MAYA
Stretching south of Cancun
along the coast of the
Yucatán Peninsula to Playa
del Carmen, Tulum and
beyond, this famous
region is renowned
for its white
sand beaches,
luxurious resorts,
the dramatic
cliff-top ruins
of Tulum
and fantastic
ecological parks.
Quieter than
Cancun, the Riviera
Maya is ideal for those in
search of peace, relaxation,
natural beauty, history and
culture, as well as adventure
activities such as diving,
rappelling and zip-lining
though the jungle.

SEA LIFE
The waters off
the east coast
of the Yucatán
Peninsula offer
an underwater
paradise of
magnificent
reefs, pristine
coral gardens,
freshwater
caverns and
wrecks as
well as the
world’s largest
underwater

museum. Whale
sharks, dolphins
and turtles are
just some of the
incredible marine
life that can be
spotted here.
XCARET
An hour south of Cancun lies
Xcaret, a vast archaeological
park offering a great day out
for the whole family. The
park brings together wildlife,
history and culture, offering
a plethora of attractions
and activities for the whole
family, from beaches, pools
and lagoons, jungle trails and
snorkelling to discovering
beautiful wildlife including
jaguars, spider monkeys,
flamingos and marine turtles.
FOOD AND DRINK
• For breakfast try huevos rancheros (fried egg on fried
tortilla with salsa), huevos a la mexicana (scrambled
eggs with salsa) or chilaquiles (tortillas in green tomato
sauce with chicken, cheese and cream)
• Sample regional dishes including pozole (a pork soup),
mole (a dark brown sauce served over chicken or turkey),
tamales (corn meal stuffed with meat, cheese or
vegetable and steamed in corn or banana husks) and
menudo (tripe stew)
• Try the national spirit, tequila, in a Margarita cocktail
(stronger and less ‘frosty’ than those served in the UK) or
a Sangrita (sour orange and pomegranate juice with a
shot of tequila)
TRAVEL BUREAU INSIDER

‘The Yucatan Peninsula has so
much more to offer than just
white, sandy beaches. Within
easy reach of the main resorts
of Cancun and Playa del
Carmen are the old Mayan
cities of Chichen Itza and
Tulum. For even more impressive
ruins, take an overnight trip
to Uxmal.’

Sri Lanka & The Maldives
SRI
LANKA
& THE MALDIVES
Sri Lanka is awash with colour, vibrancy and
beauty, from its swathes of gloriously golden
sand to the verdant jungles entwined around
ancient monuments.
HISTORY
Most people will want to
visit Sigiriya (Lion Rock), a
monument of stone rising up in
the Matale District, the cultural
heart of Sri Lanka. There
you’ll find two lion paws at the
foot of the rock heralding you
up to the summit, which is the
former site of a royal palace.
Other historical highlights
12
are the two ruined cities of
Anuradhapura and
Polonnaruwa, which
are hauntingly
beautiful. The
Dutch Fort in the
city of Galle is also
well worth a visit.
WILDLIFE
Flora and fauna are
Travel Bureau | travelbureaugosforth.com
abundant in Sri Lanka, and
a plethora of parks allow you
to really experience the wilder
side of the island. Yala, Sri
Lanka’s second largest national
park, is a particular favourite
with visitors. There you can
see leopards, elephants, water
buffalo, crocodiles and 215
species of bird, as well as a
whole host of other fauna.
At the Pinnawala Elephant
Orphanage you can watch the
elephants being fed and bathed.
If rolling hills and cups
of tea sound like
heaven, head
to Nuwara
Eliya for
restored tea
plantations,
colonial
mansions
and verdant
landscape.
MALDIVES
To get to the Maldives most people take a sea plane,
during which you can enjoy spectacular views of
what paradise must look like, though when booking
your trip make sure you choose your island carefully,
as the number of restaurants and facilities vary
depending on the island – some are small and
intimate, but others are more suited to those who
like a lot of activities.
TRAVEL
BUREAU
INSIDER
Danielle Nicholson
‘To get to Sri Lanka’s must-visit
attractions, Sigiriya and the Dambulla
cave temples, it’s best to hire a private
car and driver, as the distance covered
is quite vast, they’re the most costefficient way of getting there, and you’ll
really make the most of your time in
this beautiful country.’
DESTINATION HIGHLIGHTS
• Head to the Negombo lagoon at
dawn where prawn fishermen
head out in traditional
outrigger canoes and Indian-style
catamarans to trawl the
waters
• The Kechimalai Mosque is
magnificently set and marks
where the first Muslim settlers
landed in the 11th century
• Galle Fort is home to Dutch

Buddha’s tooth is kept
• Make sure you also sample some
traditional Sri Lankan curry and

Mauritius
MAURITIUS
Cast adrift in the Indian Ocean, Mauritius is a
spectacular island formed of white sand beaches,
sugar cane fields and lush verdant mountains, all
rising from the crystal clear waters.
PARADISE
It is little wonder that Mark
Twain deemed this the
prototype on which paradise
was fashioned. Not much
bigger than Surrey, Mauritius
is an Indian Ocean escape
with something extra. East of
Madagascar, it has some of
14
the most stunning
beaches in
the world, is
surrounded by
a huge reef
sheltering the
shallow lagoons,
and inland there
are waterfalls,
Travel Bureau | travelbureaugosforth.com
pools, forests, golf courses,
family resorts and a number of
world class hotels.
WHEN TO GO
Mauritius enjoys a typically
tropical climate with yearround heat, although the
southeast trade winds help
guard against it getting too
muggy. However, the summer
months are from
December to April and
they can be extremely
humid, and the
winter, such as it is,
runs from May to
November, when the
local climate is cooler
and drier. The best
Travel Bureau Insider
Sue Brown
‘One of my best memories was watching the beautiful colours as
the sun set at the Oberoi Hotel, listening to the evening song of
the frogs while sipping champagne – doesn’t get much better!’
months to visit are May to
early December.
PORT LOUIS
MARKET
The capital, Port Louis, has
an international atmosphere,
with bustling streets and the
intoxicating smell of spices
and fresh tea leaves. Its
Central Market is the best
place for an exciting market
experience, with hawkers
selling leather goods, meat,
sweet foods, herbal teas and
an exotic array of fruit and
vegetables, while Chinese and
Indian merchants will dazzle
you with saris in shimmering
silk or cotton, while shirts,
dresses and even knitwear are
likely to be better bargains
here than back home.
FUN
Mauritius also offers fun
activities for all ages. The
golf is world class, while the
beaches and lagoons are
havens for watersports. Get
your adrenaline pumping on
a quad bike, discover tranquil
seascapes and hidden lagoons
during a catamaran cruise, or
take an exhilarating fishing
expedition to catch marlin
and shark. Alternatively, if
it’s plain relaxation you’re
seeking, the spas here are
heavenly.

Liguria
LIGURIA
Liguria is a jewel in Northern Italy’s crown, but relatively unknown to
many in the UK, creating a heavenly coastline that caters for all tastes and
which you can really make your own.
HIDDEN GEM
Liguria is a coastal region in northwest
Italy, where the country curves round
towards the French border. All the
Ligurian resorts can be accessed through
the airport at the regional capital Genoa.
The best known resorts west of Genoa
are Alassio and San Remo and they can
also be accessed through Nice airport,
just over the border in France. The
resorts south of Genoa, including the
breathtakingly beautiful Portofino can
also be accessed through Pisa Airport.
16
Travel Bureau | travelbureaugosforth.com
HISTORY
This land had seen a lot of different tribes
and populations come and go. The Romans
left behind great roads like Aurelia and
Julia Augusta on the coast, which helped
strengthen the territorial unity and trade,
and a little Ligurian town of Luni is a famous
archeological site because of its rich history
under the Romans. Between the 4th and the
10th centuries the land was dominated by
the Byzantine, the Lombards, the Franks, the
Saracens and the Normans.
The other resorts of Santa Margherita, Rapallo and
Sestri Levante are also delightful resorts and there
are regional flights to both Nice and Pisa in the
summer months.
WHAT TO SEE
The Ligurian Riviera has some of the most
exclusive harbours in Italy. Discover Portofino’s
rugged coastline, dotted with pastel-coloured houses
and a harbour brimming with luxurious yachts.
Along Via Roma browse designer boutiques such
as Hermès and Gucci. Stay in Rapello among
orange groves, with its thriving harbour
and 16th century castle. In Santa
Margherita Ligure, fishermen
unload their catch in the
hazy morning light as
visitors enjoy delicious
ice-cream.
PLACES TO VISIT
To the east and north
of Liguria’s enchanting
coastline is Italy’s sublime
countryside, which is packed
with perfect destinations for trips
far away from the crowds, where you
can find incredible wine and food. Also within
easy reach are two of Italy’s most popular cities –
Florence and Pisa. And in Tuscany and Umbria
hilltop towns overlook emerald hills, cloaked in the
vines or olive groves from which the region’s famous
tipples and oils are produced.
CULTURE
TRAVEL BUREAU
INSIDER
Philip Ross
‘From Portofino, take a boat trip to San
Fruttuoso Bay and dive in the marine
reserve, where you’ll discover the
remarkable underwater statue – Christ
of the Abyss – with his arms spread wide
and his head raised towards the surface.’
The Good Friday Procession in Savona
is a medieval tradition in which devoted
Christians, interested tourists and many
others watch amazed. The procession
starts from the cathedral and continues
for a couple of kilometres until arriving
at the Torretta di Savona (Tower of
Savona). Along the way there is a
crucifix, a holy shrine and 13 wooden
boxes that represent the life of Christ.
It’s one of the most beloved religious
rites in northern Italy.

St Petersburg
ST PETERSBURG
One of the world’s most beautiful cities, St Petersburg has all the
ingredients for an unforgettable experience: lavish architecture, wild
nightlife, an extraordinary history and rich cultural traditions that have
nurtured great literature, music and art.
ART & ARCHITECTURE
St Petersburg is a city of
palaces, museums, broad
avenues, winding canals and
a wealth of architectural and
artistic treasures. Alongside
famous attractions such as
the Hermitage, St Isaac’s
Cathedral and the Mariinsky
Theatre, the city has scores
of lesser known but equally
fascinating sights that reveal
the pomp and extravagance of
the city’s political and Imperial
past – the elements that have
touched and inspired so many
of the city’s great artists and
writers.
WEATHER
St Petersburg is never really
cold, at least by Russian
18
standards, with temperatures
rarely dropping far below
-10C, even in the depths
of winter. And, despite
Dostoevsky’s descriptions of
the sweltering slums, summer
temperatures higher than 30C
are almost unheard of. It is the
continual high humidity which
most visitors and residents
find hard to bear at times and,
whether it’s winter or summer,
waterproof clothing
is essential.

‘Being a huge fan of the Russian ballet, one of
my life long ambitions was to see it performed
at the Mariinsky Theatre in St Petersburg. During
my visit we went to the new Mariinsky Theatre for
a performance of Cinderella and although there were
many highlights of the trip, if I had to choose one then my night at the
ballet would definitely be my favourite.’
SHOPPING
St Petersburg has a growing number
of stores offering a variety of goods
including everything from handmade arts,
crafts and souvenirs, to fresh fruits and
vegetables. Shopping along the city’s main
thoroughfare, Nevsky Prospekt, will make
any visitor feel like a native Piterbyrzhets
(Petersburger) and the street offers the
best variety of stores in the city. Bolshoy
Prospekt on Vasilyevsky Island also offers a
good selection of stores, but a little further
away from the tourists.
RANDOM FACTS
• St Petersburg was named in
honour of St Peter and not Peter
the Great, who was the founder
of the city
• The name can be translated as
‘The city of St Peter’
• St Petersburg in Florida was
named in honor of St Petersburg
in Russia by Russian-born
railroad builder Pytor
Dementyev (Peter Demens)
• The city’s nicknames include ‘The
Venice of the North’, ‘The Palmyra
of the North’ and ‘The Northern
Capital of Russia’

New York & Cape Cod
NEW
YORK
& CAPE COD
Get swept up in the thrill and bustle of New
York as you explore the long avenues and their
towering skyscrapers, as well as the quirky
side streets and their thriving shops and
restaurants. Then maybe pay a visit to Cape
Cod, one of the world’s best coastlines.
Shopping
A lot of people come to New
York for one thing: shopping.
The most upmarket shops are
on Fifth Avenue, where you’ll
find designer boutiques such
as Prada, Versace and
Tiffany, as well
as high-end
department
stores such
as Saks Fifth
Avenue,
Barney’s
and Bergdorf
Goodman, and
the iconic subterranean
Apple Store. Another shopping
hotspot is Madison Avenue,
20
home to Jimmy Choo,
Christian Laboutin, DKNY
and other designers. Also
worth a visit is Bloomingdale’s.
Finally, head to Greenwich
Village for independent shops.
Good to know
Though there are
streams of iconic
bright yellow New
York taxis, traffic can
be unpredictable and
the sheer volume of
vehicles means progress
can be slow, so the best way
to get around is the subway.
You can also take a water taxi
along the Hudson River.
Travel Bureau | travelbureaugosforth.com
Tipping is an established and
accepted custom in America.
For good service, waiters and
taxi drivers expect 15 to 20
percent, and counter and bar
staff 10 to 15 percent. Porters
can expect from $3 to $5 per
case, while tour guides can be
given around $5 per day.

Alternatively, go to the observation deck
at the top of the Rockefeller Centre, known
as Top of the Rock. To get a fantastic view of the
Statue of Liberty, take a round trip on the Staten

Visit Cape Cod
Cape Cod is an arm-shaped peninsula
located in eastern Massachusetts that
offers miles and miles of beaches, historic

AN INTRODUCTION TO
CRUISING
Cruising was once the staid holiday choice which, for those under the
age of 50, dare not speak its name. However, it has undergone an image
makeover unlike any other sector of the travel world. Both ocean and river
cruising have morphed into an entirely new canvas of onboard lifestyle.
This elaboration is most evident aboard ships where the emphasis is on
fine living. In contrast to those floating condominiums that appear to have
escaped to sea, today’s small, esoteric vessels are where the champagne
lifestyle puts the fizz in physical as well as the crystal flutes.

OCEANIA
CRUISES
Oceania Cruises are the embodiment of refined yet casually elegant
travel. These qualities, along with impeccable cuisine, decorous comfort
and remarkable service, have been at the forefront of the company’s
ethos since its inception. As the world’s only upper premium cruise line,
their ships are the antithesis of gimmick-driven cruising and deliver
value to inquisitive travellers who want to explore the world.
28
Travel Bureau | travelbureaugosforth.com
>> It is difficult, in
measured terms, to convey
the perfection of life on board
this company’s fleet of ships.
With interiors that boast
a restrained yet luscious
taste, the on-board ambiance
engenders an aura of comfort
and companionship. Nowhere
is this distinctive cruising
élan more evident than
when it comes to cuisine.
Oceania Cruises are a food
aficionado’s Shangri-La and
the acclaimed restaurants
menus boast the epitome of
conscientious cuisine.
With a capacity for just 684
guests, Regatta, Insignia and
Nautica are sleek, elegant
and charming, reflecting a
triumph of good manners
and style over modernist
brusqueness. Decks are
resplendent in the finest teak
and tile work, while lounges
and bars boast luxurious,
neo-classical furnishings.
Somewhat larger, Oceania
Cruises’ two custom-built
vessels are paragons of
eclectic design. Banishing the
stereotype of homogeneous
interiors to the deep, the new
1,250-passenger Marina and
Riviera exude a sense of
sophistication.

29
Far from the time-warp cliché of minimalism,
lavish accommodations on board these awardwinning ships boast an artistic grace and refined
glamour that span the lexicon of decadent

the Vista and Oceania Suites have been designed
by celebrated New York designer, Dakota
Jackson. Amongst the largest at sea, the elegantly
appointed staterooms don’t compromise on

comfort with Prestige Tranquility Beds and
Egyptian cotton linens.
Under the guidance of Executive Culinary
Director, Jacques Pépin, Oceania Cruises have
also taken gustatory delights at sea to a new level.
From the exemplary Grand Dining Room to the
expansive Terrace Café; from the plethora of
Italian specialities in Toscana to the succulent
cuts of meat offered in Polo Grill, each spans
the encyclopaedia of
culinary perfection.
Master Chef Pépin
was personal chef to
three French heads of
state, including Charles de
Gaulle, and has now given
his name to ‘Jacques’ aboard
both Marina and Riviera which draw
inspiration from the fabled bistros of
Lyon and Paris.
‘Here’s the chance to glide
across a lagoon in Bora Bora
searching for black pearls;
walk above a rainforest canopy
in Costa Rica; or explore the
unique ecosystem that is the
Amazon’
A torchbearer in the art of cruising,
Oceania Cruises blend marquee
ports of call with off-the-beaten-path
locations, and no fewer than nine out
of every ten itineraries are new for
2014. For the first time, four of Oceania
Cruises’ ships will be exploring Europe
this summer, setting the compass to
maiden ports such as Antibes on the
stylish Côte d’Azur; Lysekil
at the heart of Sweden’s
caviar culture; and Ullapool
in the Scottish Highlands.
Regatta will spend the
summer amidst the majesty of
Alaska; in the autumn she will
explore the vibrant foliage of Canada
and New England before heading south
to the Caribbean and Panama Canal.
Looking further ahead to winter 2014/15, the sailing
schedule looks like pages torn from an atlas of the
imagination with several cruises featuring overnight visits
and extended evening stays in port. Here’s the chance
to glide across a lagoon in Bora Bora searching for black
pearls; walk above a rainforest canopy in Costa Rica; or
explore the unique ecosystem that is the Amazon. There
are also opportunities to view the Big Five in South
Africa; see saffron-clad monks at Buddhist temples in
Thailand; or enjoy the thrill of sailing into Sydney, past
the iconic Opera House before docking beneath the
imposing Harbour Bridge.

CRYSTAL CRUISES
The ‘Crystal Difference’ starts with the company’s most important
mission: to be the best in the luxury service business, not just the luxury
cruise industry. Certainly no one who sails with Crystal Cruises can be in
any doubt about the refined beauty of its ships.
>> As Lesley Millward, Luxury Cruise
Consultant at the Travel Bureau, said of her
recent cruise, ‘As soon as you step on board,
the difference you feel and see is amazing!
The public areas are so luxurious, the
staterooms are fantastic and beds very comfy.
The crew are so courteous, nothing is too
much trouble and lastly, the food is to die for.’
‘Certainly no one who sails with
Crystal Cruises can be in any
doubt about the refined beauty of
its ships’
Luxury Travel Consultant at the Travel
Bureau, Philip Ross, also waxes lyrical,
‘My Crystal Cruises experience was one
of warmth, luxury and efficiency from the
moment I stepped on board. Everything is
taken care of and the crew seem to second
guess your every need.’
