How to reach The DHV office
By train, thalys or tgv
Antwerp is well connected by railway to all major cities in europe. You can take a direct thalys tgv from paris
or the eurostar in london. You will arrive in the central station of antwerp. Take the exit to the keyserlei and
turn immediately left into the pelikaanstraat where the heart of the diamond district is located.
By bus, tram & metro
By bus & tram there are stops on the astridplein. The metro stop 'diamant' is right in front of the diamond
district at the central station.
By plane
Antwerp has a small business airport with connections to london city, amsterdam, geneva and other cities in
europe. From antwerp airport, you can take a taxi.
From brussels airport, it is very convenient to take the sabena bus. It leaves from the lowest floor. It goes
straight to antwerp, with stops at the antwerp crowne plaza hotel and on the keyserlei in front of the central
station.
By car - from brussels
When you take the e19 coming from brussels, take the tunnel under wilrijk and follow the signs to the centre
of antwerp (= go straight on). You will automatically come on to the generaal lemansstraat, which then
curves right through the ìkoning albertparkî onto the mechelsesteenweg. You then go right on the next traffic
lights on to the belgiîlei. Keep on going until you reach the railway. Turn left and follow the simonsstraat. Go
straight through onto the pelikaanstraat, and turn left in the vestingstraat at the end turn left to
appelmansstraat the next street on the left is the schupstraat the dhv offices are located at nr 21 on the
second floor.
By car - from the north, east and west of antwerp
If you come from the direction eindhoven-turnhout, follow the e 34 and the e 313, then take the exit to
borgerhout. At the traffic lights take a left onto the small ring (singel) around antwerp. Follow it two more
traffic lights and turn right onto the plantin&moretuslei. Keep on going straight through until you arrive at the
railway bridge. Turn right immediately after the railway. You are now on the simonsstraat. Go straight
through onto the pelikaanstraat, and turn left in the vestingstraat at the end turn left to appelmansstraat the
next street on the left is the schupstraat the dhv offices are located at nr 21 on the second floor.
If you come from the direction amsterdam-rotterdam-breda, follow the e 19 and automatically you will come
onto the outer ring around antwerp. Take the exit borgerhout, go right and you are on the plantin&moretuslei.
Keep on going straight through until you arrive at the railway bridge. Turn right immediately after the railway.
You are now on the simonsstraat. Go straight through onto the pelikaanstraat, and turn left in the
vestingstraat at the end turn left to appelmansstraat the next street on the left is the schupstraat the dhv
offices are located at nr 21 on the second floor.
If you come from the direction ghent, follow the e 19 and you will come onto the outer ring around antwerp.
Take the exit borgerhout, turn left and you are on the plantin&moretuslei. Keep on going straight through
until you arrive at the railway bridge. Turn right immediately after the railway. You are now on the
simonsstraat. Go straight through onto the pelikaanstraat, and turn left in the vestingstraat at the end turn left
to appelmansstraat the next street on the left is the schupstraat the dhv offices are located at nr 21 on the
second floor.
Carpark
If you want to park your car in the garage, you can use the empire parking in the appelmansstraat. To reach
the parking, turn gently left from the pelikaanstraat into the vestingstraat when you reach the central station.
At the end of the vestingstraat, turn left into the appelmansstraat. The entrance to the empire parking is on
your left after ca. 40m.
