The centre is on Roman Road, Shrewsbury at the junction with Upper Road.It is just over a mile south of Shrewsbury town centre. By Bus Service 16: Low floor buses run every 30 minutes from Shrewsbury bus station to Meole Village via Belle Vue Road. Southbound buses (from the town centre) stop on Roman Road by the pedestrian crossing. Northbound buses (returning to the town centre) stop in Upper Road just before turning out on to Roman Road. Service 544 runs from Shrewsbury bus station to Bayston Hill and Little Lyth via Longden Road. The stops are on Roman Road, near the pedestrian crossing and buses run approximately every hour between 8.20am and 5pm. Service 25 is a more frequent service from the bus station to Meole Estate via Old Potts Way and Hazledine Way. This runs every 12 minutes during the day and about every 30 minutes in the early evening. The stops for this service are on Moneybrook Way, about 5 minutes’ walk from Louise House. 0870 241 2216 By Train There are regular services to Shrewsbury from Birmingham, South Wales, Aberystwyth, Chester and Manchester. The railway station is five minutes’ walk from the bus station; there are also taxis at the railway station. There are three spaces reserved for disabled drivers and some short-stay spaces. There is a drop-off area at the main entrance. If you arrive by car and are unable to find a parking space you will probably find yourself parking in the adjacent residential streets. Please be considerate to local residents and pedestrians when doing this; ensure that you do not block driveways or obstruct pavements or dropped kerbs. There is also a good network of footpaths in the area (see map). Cycling The centre is easily accessible by bicycle from the centre of town via Belle Vue Road.There is an off-road cycle route from Shelton Road in the north-west to Ditherington in the north-east which passes along Roman Road and makes cycling a good option from all the residential areas along this route including Radbrook, Reabrook, Cherry Orchard and Monkmoor.
