Our community exceeds the national average in poor mental health days. Increasing screens for adolescent depression will help improve social and emotional wellness. A recent survey of students in Central Illinois found: More than 1 in 10 th th More than 2 in 10 th th of 10 and 12 graders indicated they had seriously considered a suicide attempt in the last year.
