It really is a universal tool with endless possibilities! This book will focus on the use of the Pendulum as the tool for Dowsing. This is simply because the pendulum is a very handy and easy to use tool, that is very responsive and quickly can show results, and it is also very multifunctional as you can program it to show you so many different answers to what you seek for. The old “wishing rod”, basically a split stick, is too limited in what uses it has, since it basically can only point up or down, either as “yes” or “no” or to point down if over a target, such as a underground water source. It also needs the dowser to physically walk around in the terrain to try find what he seeks, if seeking objects or underground water and such. With the pendulum, the dowser can practically do it all from his arm-chair, and find the answer to what he seek, even if it is a lost object, underground water source, a missing person, cures to diseases and so on. This is due to the simple fact that a pendulum can be hold simply in one hand, while the other hand is free, making it possible to use one hand as a “tracker” such as moving the fingers of the free hand over a map if looking 4 for an object, while letting the other hand show the target when reached through the pendulum. Obviously such would be impossible with the traditional split stick “Wishing Rod” which needs to be held with both hands. Learning to use the pendulum for dowsing isn't hard either, it takes practices as anything, just like learning to play an instrument, or drive a car, but if you just keep determined and practice regularly, your results will increase in correctness and you'll be amazed about all the different possibilities the pendulum offers you! And in this mini-course I will introduce you to the basics of how to dowse with the pendulum, along with examples on how to use it to find specific things, or get the answers to questions you have, communicate with unseen energies and non-physical planes, and much more! I hope you will enjoy this little course in Pendulum Dowsing, and find it a useful and helpful tool in your daily life. With all the best of luck, and may you and your pendulum obtain a great and friendly relationship! Congratulation, it is an exciting and fun activity, and quite useful too I might add! First of all I will describe the basics of dowsing, the pendulum, and how to get started – including how to make your own pendulum so you don't have to buy a fancy expensive one! How Dowsing with Pendulum works: Now let me say out right away that there is NOTHING magical or special about a pendulum on its own. It merely functions as a TOOL. To work, it needs YOU. And the way it works is simply through your subconscious, or perhaps we should call it the superconscious since it expands out and beyond your physical self. What it does it let you see visually through its movements caused by your superconscious what your intuition already knows. Thus, we can really call the superconscious and the intuition for the same thing, so I will use the more common word “intuition” from now on. We all got intuition, but we're often bad at listening to it, or understanding it, or even noticing it. The Pendulum lets you SEE it! When you hold a pendulum in your fingers, and ask a question, and it shows you the answer, the process going on is really that your intuition sends gentle energetic vibrations down through your arm and into your fingers making the muscles of your fingers ever so slightly tighten or loosen so that the pendulum will make a specific movement based on what you asked it. This movement is your intuition showing itself to you, so you can see with your eyes what your inner 6 intuition already know. In fact, many dowsers stop needing the pendulum after lots of experience and practice, and can basically sense the answer to their questions as tingling in the fingertips or even just “knowing” the answer in their mind! So that is the secret behind how and why the dowsing with pendulum or any other object works – and it is also the reason other systems using external tools works, such as the tarot cards, or crystal gazing, or items used in magickal practices such as daggers, pentagrams, and other symbolic items. They all function as tools to connect to the intuition or superconscious – on their own none of these objects and items have any special power, except they may at times be charged with certain energies, but everything is charged with various types of energies in either case, and each item or object used for “psychic” or “magical” practices needs the actual practitioner to function. How to hold the pendulum when dowsing Different people prefer different ways of holding their pendulum. I will present some of the more common and useful ways of holding it here. Method 1. Between index finger and thumb, fingers downwards. This is a very common way to hold the pendulum, and for many the favorite way giving the best results and smoothest swing of the pendulum Method 2. Between index finger and thumb, fingers sideways instead of directly downwards. This is another way to hold the pendulum that many find to be the best, giving them best results and most smooth swinging of the pendulum. 7 Method 3. Chain over the index finger with thumb holding it in place. Many find this to be more stable and smooth, and personally I usually prefer this way. But everyone are different, so try out different ways of holding it to see what feels most right and gives the most smooth swings as well as best response to your questions. To “calibrate” and test your pendulum, start by holding it in one of the 3 suggested methods above. Let it hang loose and don't move it, just let it stay still. Then in your mind think “Swing in circle to the right” and see if it starts swinging. If it doesn't, then help it a bit by gently moving your hand to make it start swinging. Then you let it rest, and stay still again, before you tell it with your mind to swing in circle to the left direction. Again if needed use your hand to gently start moving it to make it swing. Next, make it still again, before telling it with your mind to sway back and forth in a straight line. Again you can help it starting up with your hand if it doesn't start swinging by its own. Then the forth way is to make it still again before telling it to start swaying from left to right / right to left (whatever you decide) in a straight line. Now make it still again. Then try all four ways of swinging once more, this time really try to just use your thought to make it swing without “helping” it by moving your hand. Let your Will and Mind make it swing. Start by the first direction (circle to the right), then make it still before making it by your mind move in second 8 direction (circle to the left), then make it still again and move on to third direction (back and forth in straight line) and finally still again before fourth direction (left to right / right to left in straight line). Now, you should practice the above on a regular basis such as a couple times a week or even daily – the more often the better – until you make it swing easily by thought alone in the directions you want it to. It should be swaying and swinging smooth from gently and slow to fast. You should be able to increase the speed of how it swings and sway with your mind alone just by thinking of it. Once you manage that, you can move on to the next section, which is the programming of your pendulum so you can start putting it into some practical use! Consider a PayPal donation to: [email protected] (Click to open PayPal) 9 Programming your pendulum Now you are at the most crucial and important part of getting your pendulum ready for practical work. This is the programming of the pendulum, so it responds correctly to what you ask it, and you understand what it is telling you by the way it swings or sways. NOTE: I will use specific directions for specific answers here, you can of course program it differently as this is just my own preferred way. The importance is to keep to the same system each time you use the pendulum, so that you always make one specific direction of swinging or swaying mean the same thing. Step 1. Hold your pendulum in your preferred hand posture. Let it hang down still without moving. Step 2. Use your mind to tell the pendulum to swing back and forth in a straight line (in and out towards your body). This indicates neutral position, the general way it swings when no special activity is being done or when it has not yet found the answer to a question. Once it swings back and forth in a straight line, say out loud or think mentally “Thank you, that is perfect!”. Should it NOT respond correctly to your command, then try again. If it still does not respond, you must practice more with the previous section. Step 3. 10 Now that the pendulum is swinging back and forth in a line, ask it to stop and stand still. Once it does, tell it to swing in a circle from right to left (clockwise). As soon as it swings correctly in a smooth circle clockwise right to left, say mentally or out loud “This movement means “YES””. Then say “Thank you, that is perfect!” again and make it still. Step 4. This time you mentally tell the pendulum to swing from left to right (anticlockwise). As soon as it swings correctly in a smooth circle clockwise right to left, say mentally or out loud “This movement means “NO””. Then say “Thank you, that is perfect!” again and make it still. Step 5. Now for the last step, tell the pendulum mentally to swing from left to right / right to left in a straight line. As soon as it swings correctly in a smooth way and straight line from right to left / left to right, say mentally or out loud “This movement means “I don't know OR I don't understand”. Then say “Thank you, that is perfect!” again and make it still. Should you have problems making the pendulum move correctly at any of the 5 steps, first try the practice part in the previous section for a while again before you start on these steps in this section again. If it still does not want to move correctly, try alternate ways such as telling it “Back and forth in straight line means YES” and “Left to Right in straight line means NO” etc and see if you have better luck programming it with different movements for the different answers. You may also try adjusting the length of the chain or rope your pendulum is hanging from to see if it responds better either with longer chain or shorter. Consider a PayPal donation to: [email protected] (Click to open PayPal) 11 Testing your pendulum's responsiveness: Now that you have programmed your pendulum, it is time to test it out to see if it gives correct answers to things you already know the correct answer to. First of all before using your pendulum, at any time, you should do a short meditation as follows: Sit down, relax, inhale deeply, hold the breath a while, exhale completely. Repeat 5-6 times. Mentally say out “I will now connect with my pendulum, and it will give me the correct answers or answer as good as it can to my questions”. Hold your pendulum in your hands while doing this exercise. After a couple minutes get up to practice and work with it. Step 1. Hold the pendulum in your preferred hand posture. Step 2. Tell the pendulum mentally to go to neutral position (back and forth in straight line from body). Step 3. Once moving in neutral position, ask the pendulum a question you already know the answer to, such as “Am I married?” or “Do I own a car?” etc If the answer that is given is correct, mentally or loudly say “Thanks, that is perfect!” 12 Should the answer be wrong, first of all make sure you still got what you asked about! (That you're not in a divorce without knowing it, or that your car is not stolen! Etc) If what you asked is as it should be yet the answer you got was still wrong, then try again. If you get the correct answer this time, say “Thanks, that is perfect!” If it is still wrong, check that your pendulum is properly calibrating by commanding it to show you the following 4 answers: 1. Show me a Yes 2. Show me a No 3. Show me Neutral 4. Show me I dont know OR I don't understand If any of the above 4 are wrong, then go back and re-program your pendulum, and practice the method in the section “How to hold your pendulum” for a week or two more on daily basis. Then come back and continue with this section. By practicing you should eventually get it right. Once you have practiced this on a regular basis for a week or so it is time to move on to asking questions where the answer is UNKNOWN to you. You can start by things like “Will I get unexpected visitors today?” or “Will it rain today?”, “Will John call me today?” , “Will I get ill this week?”, “Will I get any personal letters this week?” , “Will there be any large disasters this week in my country?”, “Will I get unexpected money this week/month?” etc – use your imagination! Practice that for at least a couple weeks on a daily basis or minimum 3-4 times a week. 13 Moving on to more advanced dowsing Assuming you have started to get good results (at least above 70% correct) it is time to move on to more advanced dowsing work.. Finding the layout of the water pipes in your house Of course, if you already know the layout of the water pipes in your house / apartment, skip this experiment for another one. This experiment also requires that you are able to get the schematics of your house / apartment to see where the water pipes are placed to know if you got it right. How to proceed: First draw up a sketch of the rooms in your house on a piece of paper. Don't worry, you don't need to be an artist, just make a rough illustration of the ground level of your place and the rooms in it. Then get your pendulum ready. Hold it in your favorite position with your hand, and start in one room standing in the end of the room near a wall. Tell your pendulum that you will use it to find the water pipes in the ground of your house. Ask if it understands and accepts. If yes, proceed, if no, try again another day. Ask your pendulum to go into neutral position. Then ask if there are any water pipes in the room you are currently in. If no, go to next room, if yes, ask if you are standing upon one. If no, ask in what direction the water pipe is located while you slowly and gently move the other free hand straight out and turns it around in the room until the pendulum shows a “Yes”. Then ask if it is within X metres / feet in that direction (depending on the size of the room, ask for example “Is the water pipe located within 2 meters in that direction?”) 14 If you get a “No”, increase the length and instead of in my example 2 meters, ask if it is within 4 meters. Continue with this until you get a “Yes”. Then move roughly the amount of meters (or feet) you've been told it is in the direction you have been shown and stop there. Then when you are standing roughly where the water pipe should be, ask “Am I standing on top of the water pipe now?” if “No”, then ask “Am I standing too far left – if no continue with right, front and back until you get a “Yes”. Then move slightly to the direction told, and continue the process until you get a yes to “Am I standing on top of the water pipe now”? Once you have a “Yes” to being on top of the water pipe, ask “In which direction do the water pipe run?” while again gently and slowly moving your hand around the room until you get a “Yes” for direction. When you have found the direction of the water pipe, ask as before about the length: “Is the water pipe running more than X meters/feet in this direction?” (For example “Is the water pipe running more than 2 meters in this direction?” - if the answer is yes, increase the meters until you get a “No”, if you get a “No” decrease the meters until you get a “Yes” and you'll have the approximate length of the water pipe in that direction) Once approximate length is found, move in that direction for that approximate length. Alternatively, instead of asking about the length, you can tell the pendulum to signal a “Yes” when you reach the end of the water pipe going in that direction, and simply walk slowly in the direction given until you get a yes. Once on what should be the approximate end of the water pipes length, ask the pendulum “Does the water pipe end here where I'm standing?”. If it says “No” ask it “Does it continue longer in the same direction? If “Yes”, then move slightly more and continue asking the same question until you get a yes to “Does the water pipe end here where I'm standing?” 15 Alternatively, you can ask the pendulum to signal you a yes when you reach the end of the water pipe again as before. Remember to ask about it ending in that specific direction as a water pipe usually bends around in different directions within the ground. When you've found the end of the water pipe in that specific direction, it is time to ask “Does the water pipe continue in a different direction?” if “No” then simply end it there and draw up on your sketch of your house where you found the water line to go. If “Yes” then continue by asking “Does it continue to the Right?” and if “No” then “Does it continue to the Left?” which it should be a “Yes” for, if it is a “No” it means the water pipe does not go in a 90 degree angle but differently so you will have to stand on the point of the end you found of the current direction, and slowly move your hand straight out around in the room while asking the pendulum to signal you a “Yes” when you got the right direction. Then continue as before, asking about how far it goes in that direction etc, and at the end of the new direction, ask if it continues in another direction and so on until you've mapped out the layout of the water pipes on your sketch. Also try this in different rooms where you were not led to, as there may be separate water lines not connected with each other. At the end of it all, find the schematics of the building and check with your sketch and see how correct you got it. Remember that practice makes master so don't be frustrated if you didn't get it all too correct the first time, you can always try again in a friends place, in the street, and so on. This above exercise can easily be adapted to find for example ground water in a field etc if that is needed, if you wish to build a well for example, just use the same principles asking about how far away the water is and in what direction etc until you got it nailed down. Time to move on to another exercise ! 16 Finding a hidden object in your house For this exercise you need a partner. You ask the partner to take any object and hide it anywhere in your house in any room, while you step out of the house as he/she does that. Once ready and done, you go back in and find your pendulum. Tell your pendulum that you will use it to find the hidden object in your house. Ask if it understands and accepts. If yes, proceed, if no, try again another day. Ask your pendulum to go into neutral position. Then first of all ask if the hidden object IS in your house! Sometimes partners can be sneaky and try trick you and bring the object out of the house or similar! If «No» then ask your partner if he/she really DID hide the object INSIDE one of the rooms in your house, or if he/she got it on her or put it outside etc! Then maybe you got it solved and found already, unless you want to go out and search if he/she put it outside. If your partner denies that the object is with him/her or that she hid it outside or somewhere else not in any room of your house, then ask your pendulum again if the object is inside your house. If you get «No» again, ask your partner to reveal where the object is. If it indeed was inside your house as it should, then try again another day. If you get a «Yes», meaning the object is hidden as it should somewhere in your house, then proceed. Step into any room, and ask the pendulum if the object is inside that specific room. If you get a «No», proceed to next room, until you find a room where you get a «Yes». 17 Then ask the pendulum if the object is hidden on ground level, within the height of your body, or higher up. Once you establish a «Yes» to one of these, you proceed. Let's assume you got a «Yes» to the object being hidden on ground level. Ask the pendulum then in what direction the object is hidden. As before, slowly move your free arm straight out around the room until the pendulum gives a «Yes» for the direction. At this point you ask the pendulum if the object is within X meters/feet in that direction (for example: «Is the object within 2 meters in that direction?» If yes, then proceed to next step, if «No» then increase the distance until you get a «Yes»). Once you have established the approximate distance, move to that point. Then ask the pendulum «Is the object closer to me than 50cm/1 feet now?» If yes, then you should be able to look around at ground level and find the object within that short distance. Make sure to look behind any other objects you got in your room at that distance such as desks or chairs or other furniture such as sofas etc – look beneath all such objects as well and hopefully you will find the object there. If you still have problems finding the object, once again ask the pendulum to point out the direction with a «Yes» when your hand points in the right direction. Then take a step towards that direction and again look around, beneath, inside etc any objects that may be there already – including looking under carpets! If you find it now, then congratulations, if you don't, ask your partner to point out where the object is and see how close you were. Retry the experiment another day and keep practice until you manage to find the hidden object on your own. 18 Finding an object on a person This exercise is very similar to the above, but simplified, as all you need to do this time is to find a concealed object on a partner. This can be for example the persons wallet, a coin, cellphone, etc. Ask the person to put the object in a different place on his body than he normally would carry it, he should do this in a different room without you looking of course. Once ready, tell the pendulum you will find the object on the person. Ask if it understands and accepts. If yes, proceed, if no, try again another day. If «yes», then what you do next is first of all again to make sure there are no tricks, so ask the pendulum «Is the object on the person». If «No» then confront the person and ask if he hid it somewhere else than on his body. If he insists that he didn't, and shows you the object on his body, then try again another day. If he admits he hid it in the room he was supposed to use to hide it on his body, then congratulations. If the answer was «Yes», that the object is on the person, then stand close to the person, and tell the pendulum to signal you a «Yes» when your free hand is right by the object. Move your hand slowly and gently around the persons body until it gives a «Yes». Then ask the partner to show if the object is where your pendulum located it. If yes, then congratulations, if no, then try again another day. Remember that these exercises can also be good party tricks, as well as something to make a small group of friends to practice together, the more the merrier and with more people there's always more ideas for more experiments! 19 Finding remote objects using a map Again for this exercise it's best to use a partner, whom can hide some object somewhere in your town. Then get a map over your town, in different scales, preferably all the way down to neighbourhoods with individual houses visible. Tell your pendulum you will find the hidden object using the map. Ask if it understands and accepts. If yes, proceed, if no, try again another day. If «Yes», then take the full city map and split it into four equal sections (upper left, upper right, lower left and lower right). Ask your partner «Is the object hidden somewhere in the upper left section of the map?» If no, continue to next section until you get a «Yes». If you do not get any «Yes», ask the partner if he really did hide the object anywhere in the city. If he claims he did, ask him to show you were, and if confirmed then try again another day. If he admits he didn't, then congratulations. Once you get a «Yes» on one of the 4 parts of the map, bring in a close scaled map of that area, and similarly split it into 4 sections and ask the same question over again. Keep doing this until you get down to the most scaled down map you can, preferably one showing individual houses of the neighbourhood. Then gently move your finger of your free hand over that part starting in one end and moving it slowly up and down all across the map until the pendulum signals you a «Yes». Then ask the partner if this is the correct area. If yes, congratulations, and if wanted you can go to that area and try use the pendulum to find the object in that location as well, the same way you used it before to find objects that were hidden. If no, then make sure to have your partner show you were the object really was, and if in a different area, then try again another day. 20 Finding problematic areas in peoples bodies For this you need a partner. Your goal is to «scan» the persons body to find any area that has some problematic issues such as illness, disease, damage, injury, etc. Tell your pendulum you will find any problematic areas in the persons body, if there are any such in that person. Ask if it understands and accepts. If yes, proceed, if no, try again another day. If «Yes» then stand next to the person and tell the pendulum to signal a «yes» when you move your hand over a problem-area of that person. Then start «scanning» the person by slowly moving your free hand over the person's different body parts. You can start down by the feet, first scanning one feet and up the leg, then the other feet and up that leg as well, before continuing up the stomach, chest, throat, face and top of head. Then do the same on the back of the person, moving your hand from the top of the head down back the skull, down the neck, back, buttocks, hips, legs, feet. Then do the same on the sides of the person, again from bottom all the way up to the top including sides of the head and both arms. Wherever you get a «Yes» signal, tell the person and ask if he has any problems there. If yes, then you got it right, if no you should ask the person to check that/those area(s) with a doctor just to be sure. After the doctors visit, you'll know if you were right with the places the persons wasn't aware of any problem areas. If you work with healing, such as Reiki, you also know what areas you should work on with that person, as long he/she would like you to try treat the problems. 21 Notice that the problems could be with the energy system or aura, and thus not possible to find with traditional medical examinations, in such cases ask the pendulum if the problem area is energy or aura related. If yes, then seek out someone who works with aura and energy related healing that can help treat the problems. Remember it can also be Chakra related, so do a scan over each chakra too specifically asking if there are any problems with any of the chakras. Similarly, if getting any «Yes» on any chakras, seek out anyone that works with chakra healing and energy work, meditations, etc. Consider a PayPal donation to: [email protected] (Click to open PayPal) 22 Psychic Experiments Now that you have experimented for a while with somewhat advanced dowsing it is time to try even more complex dowsing. I call this section “psychic experiments” because it involves subjects such as telepathy, divination, precognition etc. Most experiments here requires a partner, but some can be adapted so you can do them on your own, and a few you can do completely on your own as they are. Finding the card In this exercise you can use a partner to make the result more probable correct if right, but you can also do this one on your own. With a partner, you ask him/her to shuffle a deck of normal playing cards and then select one without you looking. Then ask them to put the card back into the deck and re-shuffle it. Now ask the partner to take the deck and split it into 3 more or less equal sized piles put next to each other on a table. Then get your pendulum. Tell it you will now find the card the person selected by its help. Ask if it understands and agrees. If “Yes” then proceed, if no then try again another day. If yes, tell the pendulum you want it to signal a “Yes” when your free hand is above the pile of cards that have the correct card in it. Then slowly move your hand over the 3 piles, stopping and holding your hand for a short moment over each while looking at your pendulum, until it signals a “Yes” for one of them. 23 If you can't get a “Yes”, ask the person if he remembers what card he got. If he says no, that explains it so start over and make sure he really notices what card he selects. If he insists he remembers, try again another day. Once you get a “Yes” on one of the piles, remove the 2 other piles, and ask the partner to split the pile up into yet 3 more piles on the table. Proceed again doing the same “scanning” with your hand, watching your pendulum, as above until you get a “Yes” on one of the card piles. Now the selected pile of cards should not be more than a handful of cards at max so just spread them out on the table still face down, and slowly move your free hand over them while letting your pendulum know it shall signal a “Yes” when your hand is above the correct card. Once you get a “Yes”, show the card, and if right congratulations! If wrong, or you dont get any yes, then try again another day. Doing the above on your own can be carried out in a similar way, just select a card and shuffle it well back into the deck, spread the cards out in 3 piles etc as explained above and follow the same procedure for yourself as you would for a partner and see if you find your card back. If not, try again another day. Find the number For this exercise a partner is needed. You ask the person to think of a number between 0 and 100 and to write it down on a note without showing you, and keep the note in his pocket. What you do is tell your pendulum that you will use it to find out what number he wrote down on the paper. If you get a “yes” proceed, if “No” then wait for another day. 24 If getting a “Yes”, ask the pendulum if the number is 3 digits (which immediately would tell you the number is 100). If no, ask if it is 2 digits, if no ask if it is 1 digit. If “No”, try again another day but first ask the person if he actually wrote down any number – perhaps he tries to trick you and if so and he did not write anything or a number beyond 100 then congratulations you got it anyway. Once you get a “Yes” to either a 3 digit, 2 digit or 1 digit number it is time to proceed. If it is 3 digits, then the answer must be 100, and thus you tell your partner the number is 100 and ask him to show the note. If correct, then congratulations, if wrong, then try another day. If it is 2 digits, you ask the pendulum if it starts with 1, and proceed asking every number up to 9 until you get a yes on a specific number. If you get nothing, try again another day, if you get a “Yes” on a number, then proceed. Once you know the first number, it is time to ask for the second number. Let us assume first number was 5. Now ask the pendulum to tell you when you reach the second digit of the complete number on the note. Proceed as before, asking from 0 to 9 this time, and once you get a “Yes” you have the number. If you don't get anything, try another day. If you get a “Yes”, in this example lets say 9, the two-digit total number on the note should be 59. Ask the person if this is correct and to show you the note. If correct, then congratulations. If wrong, then try again another day. Should your pendulum indicate that the number is only a 1 digit number, all you have to do is ask it to indicate a “Yes” for the right number as you count from 0 to 9. Once you get a yes, ask the person if the number is correct and to show you the note. If correct, then congratulations, if wrong then try again another day. 25 When will someone come visit you next time? For this exercise you obviously do not need any partner, since all you have to do is ask your pendulum some questions to nail down the date and time someone will come visit you next time, regardless of it being friends or relatives or someone unknown. You start by letting your pendulum you will ask it different questions to find out when someone will come visit you next time. Ask if it understands and accepts. If “Yes” then proceed, if “No” then try again another day. If “Yes” then start by asking “Will I get some visitors today?” if the answer is “No” then continue with the next day until you've reached one week. If it is still “no”, then ask “Will I get visitors within 2 weeks” and keep on asking weekly until you get a “Yes”. If it doesn't give you a yes even after longer time such as one month, ask if you will get any visitors within 1 year. If still no, I assume you either don't have that many people visiting you and you live rather isolated and alone and remote, or your pendulum is not responding correctly – in latter case try again another day. Once you do get a “Yes” you got to nail it down more to the exact moment. Let's say you got a “Yes” on “Will I get some visitors today?”, then you simply start asking at what hour the visit will be. Start asking it if it it “AM” or “PM” and once you get yes on either you know what part of the day. If you live in Europe, skip that step and move on to the hours, which we will cover now. If using AM/PM system, you got 12 hours to go through, if you live in Europe or elsewhere that uses 24 hours military time as standard, you got to start with 1 and go all the way to 24 (midnight). In either case, whether you got 12 hours AM/PM or 24 hours clock, you start asking the pendulum “Will the visit be at 1?” and continue on like that through all the numbers from 1 to 12 (or 1 to 24) until you get a “Yes” on a number. If you don't get a “Yes”, try again another day. When you get a “Yes” the next time you need to find out is the minutes. We can make this simple and just split the hour into 4 quarters of 15 minutes each. Thus ask about the hour you got and which of the quarters of the hour it will be. As an example, we'll say the pendulum told you the hour will be “4”, then ask it “Will it be 26 within the first quarter of 4?” If no proceed to next quarter until you get a yes on one of the 4. If you dont get any, it could be that the moment the visit will be will be exactly at the hour “4” so take a note and check anyway, or try another day. If you get a yes on one of the 4 quarters of the hour, then start asking the pendulum about which minute of the quarter of the hour the visit will be. Since one quarter of an hour is 15 minutes, you simply start counting from one telling your pendulum to signal “Yes” when you reach the correct minute. Once you get a “Yes”, you have the hour and minute you can expect visitation! Let's say the hour was 10, and the quarter of the hour was 6 minutes – then you should get a visitor (or more) at 10:06 o'clock. Easily verifiable, and if no visitors come, then try again another day (make sure to check your door bell is working, could be they've been there but thought you were not home!). Now if the pendulum initially indicated it would NOT be today but a different day, you simply go through the days for the week it signaled, and do the same procedure there, and voila! Then all you need to do is wait and see if the visitor(s) turns up as predicted. If not, then try again another day. Finding the amount of items For this exercise you can either use a partner or do it on your own. You can use any type of small items that easily can be put into an envelope, small box or jar, etc. In the example I will use grains of rice. Either you have a partner take an amount of rice grains, and count them while you are not looking, and place them in a container (envelope f.ex) or you just put your hand into a pile of rice grains and pick up a handful or so and slip them into the container. 27 Next you tell your pendulum you will use it to find the amount of rice grains in the envelope (or other container). Ask if it understands and accepts. If yes, proceed, if no, try again another day. Assuming a YES then continue by asking your pendulum «Is it less than 100 grains?» If yes, then continue asking the other way «Is it more than 10 grains?» and add 10 for each time until you get a «Yes». Lets say it says «Yes» to is it less than 30 and also a «Yes» to more than 20 – then simply ask 1 by 1, «Is it 21 grains?» - «Is it 22 grains» etc until you get a yes. In our example, it says yes to «27 grains» - if correct, then congratulations, if wrong then try again another day. This is the simplest part of all when it comes to this brief course in pendulum dowsing. Basically, you can make your pendulum from any object that is small yet heavy enough to dance around on a string. Examples can be: A key on a string A ring on a line of wool A stone on a fishing line A real pendulum bought from a store or handmade Examples goes on - any object of a small size with some weight to it connected to some form of string will do, you just have to test how it is moving, if it is smooth and consistent or not. You want the smooth and consistent! So with this I end this brief course, and you may continue experimenting with your own ideas, thoughts and creativity! You have the tools you need, it is all mind, string and object! Good luck on your path as a pendulum dowser, I hope you have enjoyed this brief course and will find pleasure in playing and experimenting with it. 29 There will be more advanced courses coming, so look for them, as they will be available through my publisher site www.lulu.com/spotlight/maggador or my personal sites www.Maggador.com , www.PleiadianTalk.com and www.AscendingTimes.com I wish you the best of luck on your pendulum dowsing journey, and hope you have a lot of fun and interesting times whether doing it alone, with a partner or in a group! Good luck, and may the Pendulum show you the way! -Edward Alexander The End Consider a PayPal donation to: [email protected] (Click to open PayPal) 30
