How to use Wireless Internet at Fairway Lodge.
Step 1
Purchase a prepay voucher from the Fairway Lodge office, during office hours. Vouchers are available in $5 =
50MB, $10 = 100MB and $20 = 200MB. Vouchers can only be used in the Fairway Lodge zone and not at other
Zenbu hotspots. Please note that vouchers are non-refundable. This includes, if the voucher is not used at
all or if the MB allowance is partially used.
Step 2
You must be in the Fairway Lodge Zenbu hotspot zone, which is located throughout the resort. Coverage is
available inside the poolroom area, also around the poolside, at the tables outside each unit and in most cases it
can be accessed within the units themselves.
Step 3
To connect to the wireless signal select the Zenbu.net.nz – Fairway Lodge option from the list of available
wireless networks on your laptop or PDA device. (The example below is from a Windows XP laptop and different
systems may differ in look.)
Some systems may tell you that this is an unsecured network
and ask if you want to proceed, answer YES as this system
needs to be unsecured for you to be able to connect to it.
Step 4
Using your laptop or PDA open a web page (like
www.google.co.nz) using your web browser. You will be
automatically redirected to the secure Zenbu login page.

Step 5
In the box marked Option 2 enter your access code then click on the login button.
(See example below)
When you have entered your access code and clicked on the login button the following screen will appear.
This screen shows your MB
credit.
This link gives you the following

you were searching for. PDA’s
offer a line of texts ‘TAKE ME TO
YOUR REQUESTED WEBSITE’.
Step 6
You are now ready to surf the net.
Step 7
When your credit runs out you will be returned to the Zenbu login page.
If you have another Zenbu voucher you can enter the details at this point just
as you did in Step 5, you can then click on the blue button to return to the page
you were viewing.
Step 8
You can logoff at anytime by going to the Zenbu homepage at www.zenbu.net.nz and clicking the logout
text below your MB credit details OR use the logout button on the menu bar. (See below)
You can then come back later to continue using your remaining MB credit
by simply repeating steps 2, 3, 4 & 5.
IMPORTANT NOTE It is necessary to logoff and then disconnect from the wireless network to
avoid wasting your credit.

How can I check how much credit I have remaining?
You will first need to login using your access code. (See step 5) You have the option to choose a pop up window
that shows the amount of credit you have remaining. (See the black box on step 5 for details) OR You can go to
www.zenbu.net.nz The home page has a box near the top left that shows your access code and your MB
amount remaining. (See example below)
How will I know when my credit runs out?
You are returned to the Zenbu login page.
Can I use another voucher when mine runs out and will
I be able to view the web page I was on?
Yes, you simply purchase another voucher from the
Fairway Lodge office and enter the new code in the option
2 section of the Zenbu login page and hit the login button
(just like before). You can then choose to return to the
page you were viewing.
Can I use the Zenbu voucher at other Zenbu hotspots?
No, it will only work at Fairway Lodge.
Can I use it in my unit and what happens if I lose the connection?
The coverage zone includes the poolroom area, the poolside, the unit outdoor tables and in most cases the units
themselves. You should be able to get coverage inside your unit or in the other areas mentioned. If you lose
your connection move back into the designated hotspot zone and click the reconnect button, on occasions you
may need to login again.
Can I have a refund if I don’t use all the MBs?
No, unfortunately each voucher is sold as a whole item and is non-refundable.
Do I have a set timeframe to use my voucher?
The voucher is not controlled by a timeframe system and is instead controlled by the amount of MBs used.
Can I use this service at any time of the day or night?
The Fairway Lodge hotspot zone runs 24 hours a day but it is important to remember that you must have a
Zenbu voucher to use this service and the vouchers can only be purchased from the Fairway Lodge
Office during office hours.
Can I let someone else use my voucher?
Yes, it belongs to you so if you let someone else use it is your credit they will be using. It is important to note
however that only one person can use a voucher number at a time.
How much are the vouchers and where can I get them?
Vouchers are available at the Fairway Lodge office, sold during office hours, for
$5 = 50MB $10 = 100MB $20 = 200MB
Can I use my voucher again later if I haven’t used up all my credit?
Yes, your MB credit is just that the amount you can use until it the total used up. You don’t have to use it all at
once, you can check your email, then logoff, go away and come back later and check it again.
