One of the perks of running an online business is that you have low overhead.
There’s no rent to pay for office space, no employees, and typically no expensive
equipment to own (other than your computer and Internet capabilities).

Here’s how you setup a forced opt in page inside your Power Lead System.
1. Login to your Power Lead System backoffice and from the menu, select
Capture Leads ->Create Lead Capture Pages->Floating Capture Form
(see Figure 1)

2. On the Floating Capture Form page, select the green button labeled Create
New Floating Capture form (See Figure 2).

3. When you click the green button, you will land on a page that gives you the
two options for creating a new floating capture page. Select the green button
labeled Go! next to the words Add a Floating Capture Form that I will design
(See Figure 3).

4. When you select the green Go! Button, you will access the Floating Capture
Form Editor (see Figure 4). In Step 1 of the Editor, enter a title for the form you
are about to create. In Step 2, leave the Show the Survey as is and accept the
default field choices. No need to get fancy at this point.

5. Leave Step 3 as it is, because you won’t need to send an automated follow-up
e-mail yet. If you do want to follow-up, send a personal message for initial
contact.

6. Step 4 will show Signup Page as the default. You should change this by
selecting the Do not show the “Want This On Your Site” link from the Step 4
dropdown menu (See Figure 5).
7. Under the Additional Options section, accept the default values for
everything except the question Are people required to fill out the Opt-in form
before viewing your website?. Make sure that the Yes option is selected
(see Figure 6). This setting is what will cause your Power Lead System to force
your site visitors to complete the opt in form to access your free offer.

8. Accept the default settings for the form size, then save everything by
selecting the green Save Changes to Floating Capture Form button at the bottom
of the page. This action will take you to the Edit Floating Capture Form Content
editor shown in Figures 7, 8, and 9 below.

The Power Lead System allows you to choose from a library of pre-recorded
videos to enhance the look and feel of your capture form, or you can add your
own. By the way, if you’d rather add an image to your capture form instead of
video, you can select the second option on the form (see Figure 10) and add
HTML code for an image of your choice in the space provided.

The Set Thank You Page form (see Figure 11) is where you’ll determine what the
visitor will experience after they have opted in to your form and selected the
button to submit their information to access your funded proposal.

After you have configured your opt in form and Thank You page, you’ll be
presented with a screen to review what you’ve put together (see Figure 12). This
screen also allows you to get the HTML code needed to place your newly created
form on your website or blog. However, there’s a shortcut that you can use to
save yourself the time and effort of copying and pasting HTML code. You can
access the shortcut by selecting the Create Simulator button.

The shortcut is the Floating Capture Form Simulator (see Figure 13), which saves
you time and effort by allowing you to create a link that will display your Floating
Capture Form without the need to copy and paste HTML code.

Viral Freebies
A viral freebie is one where you aren’t requiring anyone to provide you with their
contact information – they can just read, watch or listen to the viral freebie with
no strings attached.
You can use one or both of these tactics as a method to get people exposed to
your funded proposal. The media format you use isn’t important – it can be text
(short report or report), a video series or a podcast.
Most people go with text for this purpose. It’s easier to hyperlink to your funded
proposal, although that’s also possible whenever you set up a video or audio
system.
What can your freebie be about? Any topic that online marketers want or need to
know about – where you can provide valuable insight at no charge – is a good
idea.
For example, you could write a free, 5-page report called, “5 No-Cost Lead
Generation Strategies” or “How to Use Twitter for Lead Generation.” You can be
broad or narrow with your topic.
Inside your freebies, you’ll want to hyperlink to your funded proposals with the
emphasis that these are low cost options to help solve one of their most pressing
problems in the online marketing world.
This is not where you promote your high-end systems. The lead you’ve just
generated that opted into your list for this freebie hasn’t been vetted for a major
purchase yet – and if you go from free to high dollar, you might lose them forever.
You have to help them get their footing and see some sort of success online,
before you help them level up to a higher income strategy. So focus on
promoting the low cost funded proposal first.

Drive Traffic to Your Lead Capture Page
Once your freebie is created, you have to send people to it. Your whole goal here
is to get money for your major advertising expenses, so the last thing you want to
do is fork over cash to market this freebie offer.
There are many options for free promotions! These aren’t lesser methods than
paid ads, either. Many of them are extremely powerful. There are six major
methods you can use right away – and not one of them costs a single penny.
Method #1 – Video Marketing
Video marketing can be done on YouTube, Vimeo, or a host of other video social
websites. You can make a simple video talking about a broader view on the tips
that you’ll provide in your free opt in or viral product and then tell them where to
go to get it.
You can also sometimes add a link in the description area of your video but make
sure you follow the rules of the site before you link out anywhere. The key to
getting people to follow the link is in showing value in your video. Make them
want to learn more.
Method #2 – Article Directories
Some people gave up on article directories when search engines gave them a
pounding, but they’re still viable – and you can whip up a series of articles that
link back to your freebie using a closing such as, “For more information, visit
www.mydomain.com and download my free guide called 7 Steps to More Leads!”
Method #3 – Blogging
Blogging is one of the best free ways you can gain more subscribers who want to
download your freebie. If your blog post is fresh and valuable, then the reader will
want to know what else you’re willing to share at no cost to them. Make sure you

add an opt in form under each blog post as well as somewhere on the home page
of your blog in the sidebar.
Method #4 – Facebook Marketing
Just about everyone’s on Facebook – and you should be, too. You can set up a fan
page or group where you provide value to other multi level marketers – from
beginners to advanced levels. This will give you the opportunity to give your
“Friends” or “Fans” on Facebook free access to your report.
Method #5 – Twitter Promotions
Twitter messages (called Tweets) might be short at 140 characters, but you can
create very powerful messages using a few words – including FREE. That’s always
a favorite with any audience.
Find people to follow who are in the MLM niche and engage with them. Don’t
become a Twitter spammer – build real relationships with people who will

Picking the Right Kind of Funded Proposal
As you think about your freebie, consider what you’ll be introducing your readers
to. You’re probably involved with one of the many popular opportunities that you
hope everyone joins. However, that’s not what the funded proposal is all about.
That aspect of things will occur, but a little later – right now we’re just focused on
getting the prospect from “free and curious” to “willing to spend a small amount
because they’re interested.” So, you need some sort of low cost entry product.
You have two options here – promote one that already exists, or create your own!
Most online marketers just go with promoting something that’s already out there
– like Power Lead System or Instant Internet Sales Machine.
The item you choose to promote as your funded proposal should be something
that helps everyone succeed with whatever they’re currently promoting (because
most people will already have a company they’re connected to – they just need
help making it work).
It’s fine, if the funded proposal has an upgrade element built in – that just means
more profits for you! However, be aware that the upgrade should have a low
initial cost to make it both easy and affordable for your customers to accept your
proposal has to offer. You might even want to consider creating your own funded
proposal.
At this point, maybe you’ve already identified a freebie to use as your funded
proposal, and maybe you’ve been promoting it on social networking sites, etc. If
so, why not go one step further and actually create or acquire your own low cost
product?
It’s not hard to do. Find a problem that’s causing pain for your audience and solve

consider writing your own course on that – and selling it for a very low price
