HOW TO APPLY ONLINE
1. Candidates are required to apply Online through website http://oasis.mkcl.org/sndt2013 no
other means/mode of application will be accepted.
2. Candidates can get the details and Application Fees and On line application forms for all the
posts advertised at MKCL website http://oasis.mkcl.org/sndt2013and SNDT Website i.e.
www.sndt.ac.in
3. Read the Advertisement carefully.
4. Check the qualifications/eligibility criteria for the post you would like to apply.
5. Application form fees of Rs.200/- (for reserved category candidates) Rs. 400/- (for open
category) should be paid. Ex- Servicemen are exempted from paying this fee. Details of
modes of payment are shown in the website.
6. While filling online application, please keep all necessary documents to be ready. You will
also require scanned images of your latest passport size photograph and signature to be
uploaded while filling the online application form.
7. To apply on line go to the MKCL website http://oasis.mkcl.org/sndt2013
8. Separate application need to be made for every post applied.
9. Select the post you want to apply. One by one select correct options (Yes/No) for the
questions on the screen. Software will check your primary eligibility based upon your
responses.
10. If you are primarily eligible for the post, proceed further.
11. After filling required information, system will generate login ID, password and SBI Challan
which will be displayed on the screen. You will also receive your login ID and password on
your mobile through SMS. (Please enter correct mobile number to get login ID and password
by SMS). This Login ID is also your form number. Please keep your login ID and password
confidential and do not share with anybody for security reason.
12. You need to login using your USER ID and Password for Bank Challan and go to “Print My
Login Challan details” and click on it and take a printout.
13. Applicant should visit nearest SBI bank on next working day along with duly filled Challan
and pay application fee along with bank charges in cash as printed on the Challan. Bank will
accept application fee and give acknowledgement on applicant copy of the Challan or you
can pay through credit card / debit card or net transfer as per the details given.
14. Please pay applicable fee before last date mentioned in the challan. A fee once paid is nonrefundable & non-transferable.

15. Once you have paid the necessary fees you can login again and go to the fill application form
link and complete the application.
16. After making payment of fees in SBI, it takes one working day for the reconciliation of fee
paid by you. Login again on the website, click on “Fill Application Form” link and complete
and approve and take printout of the online application form on the NEXT working day.
Applicant must fill following information in the form.
a. Personal Information.
b. Reservation Details.
c. Qualification Details.
d. Upload scanned copy of Photograph and Signature.
e. Experience Details.
f. Other Essential Information.
17. Your form will be complete only when you fill in on the details. Fill the above information in
online application form, approve the information filled in the form and take printout of the
form for your reference.
Your application process is now complete. Please check the website for regular updates.
18. Candidates shall fill all the information through online only. No papers or Photocopies of
educational qualification etc., be sent to SNDT Women’s University or MKCL. Candidates
shall be responsible if their application is rejected due to incomplete details or for any other
reasons.
19. After completing filing up the form candidates are requested to check their website regularly
for status of the application.
20. Admit card for written examination shall be available in your login ID as well as on the
website before the examination date. There will not be any written communication before
the examination.
21. Even if any of the candidates have registered their names with any of the District
Employment & Self Employment information Centres, it is mandatory for them to apply
online. They have to produce their registration certificate at the time of evaluation of
certificates.
22. If any wrong or false information is given by the candidates his/her appointment will be
terminated with immediate effect and action will be taken as per IPC 199,200

Employees on Daily Wages and Contract basis employees:
Employees those who are working in SNDT Women’s University on daily wages and contract basis
also need to apply if they are eligible.
Application Fee:
1)
On line application website Link will be Open from 17/10/2013 (11.00 a.m.) to Last Date
07/11/2013 (05.00 p.m.)
2)
Payment of fees through State Bank of India (Print Challan) will be from 17/10/2013 to
11/11/2013.
3)
After payment of fees in SBI fill up the on line application form will be from 18/10/2013 to
11/11/2013.
Age Limit:1)
For the posts no. 05 and 06 minimum age will be 18 years (not below) and upper age limit
for open category age will be 33 years (not above). (for reserved category candidates under
SC, ST, VJNT, SBC & OBC categories age will be relaxed till upper age limit 38 years)
2)
For Open category Physical Handicapped Candidates and Reservation Category candidates
upper age limit is relaxed up to 45 years.
3)
For Open category Project Affected, Earthquake, Ex-servicemen and Freedom Fighter’s Child
candidates upper age limit relaxed up to 45 years.
4)
The condition of upper age limit is not applicable those who are already in the service of the
Universities/ Affiliated Colleges/ Recognised Institutions (Aided).
5)
Minimum age and Upper age limit will be effective as on 07/11/2013.
6)
As per the resolution of the Government of Maharashtra dated April 30, 2005 the upper age
limit is relaxable by 5 years for the candidates applying under sports category.
Ex-servicemen and Census (1991) employees will get age relaxation as per rules.
7)
Government and Semi Government Servant:
1)
The Employees working in Government or Semi Government Offices need to submit No
Object Certificate at the time of interview.
2)
The employees who have been terminated from Government or Semi Government service
due to in disciplinary action or had to take compulsory retirement Under MCSR 1981 are not
eligible to apply.
3)
Those who are appointed after 01/11/2005 are eligible for pension as per GR No. vafu;ks
1005@126@lsok&4] fnuakd 31@10@2005 under DCPS Scheme.

Reservation for Backward Class:
1.
Maharashtra State Public Services (Reservation for Schedule Castes, Schedule Tribes,
Denotified Tribes (Vimukta Jatis), Nomadic Tribes, Special Backward Class and Other
Backward Classes) Act.2001 has been enforced by the Govt. of Maharashtra from 29th,
January, 2004. As per the provisions under Sub-section 2 (ii) of Section-4 of this Act, the
principle of Creamy-Layer has been made applicable to all categories except Schedule Castes
and Scheduled Tribes i.e. VJNT, SBC & OBC category. The candidates should produce latest
Non-Creamy Layer Certificate (ie. 31/03/2013) in the prescribed form issued by appropriate
authority as per Govt. of Maharashtra Circular No. CBC-10/2006/PK15/BCR-5 dated
5/6/2006.

Candidates claiming the benefit of reservation under SC, ST, VJNT, Spl. BC & OBC categories,
should produce a caste certificate at the time of interview. They will also enclose an attested
copy of caste validity certificate issued by the Caste Scrutiny Committee if available with
them at the time of interview. However, the candidate who applied without submitting
Caste Validity Certificate, if selected, an appointment order will be issued to him as per the
provisions / directives prescribed in G.R. of Govt. of Maharashtra.

In case of VJNT category, if candidate belonging to particular VJNT category for which post is
advertised is not available then the said post will be filled in from the other VJNT category as
per the interchange ability norms.
4.
For claiming the benefit of caste reservation, candidates should submit attested copy of
Caste Certificate, Caste Validity (If available) and Certificate of Domicile of Govt. of
Maharashtra issued by the appropriate Authority of Govt. of Maharashtra at the time of
interview.
5.
The caste certificate issued by appropriate Competent Authority of Maharashtra State only
will be considered as valid for availing the benefit of reservation including application fees.
6.
Backward class candidates should be domicile of Maharashtra State and should be of the
categories notified by the Maharashtra State viz (a) Scheduled castes (including SC category
person who has adopted Baudha Religion) (b) Scheduled Tribes (c) VJNT Special Backward
Class and (e) Other Backward Class.
Rights of University and Selection Committee:
1.
The University reserves the right to make changes in the advertisement. Such
decision of the University will not be notified or intimated to the candidates.
2.
If any false / incorrect information furnished by the candidate is detected at any stage of
recruitment process, his/her candidature will not be considered.
3.
If the candidate knowingly or will fully furnishes incorrect or false particulars or suppresses
material information, he/she will be disqualified and if appointed, shall be liable for
dismissal from the University service without any notice or assigning any reasons
whatsoever.

The decision of the Management in all matters relating to recruitment shall be final and no
individual correspondence will be entertained.

If any candidate directly or indirectly they to influence any officer of the University, he / she
will be disqualified.
Written Examination and Interview:
1.
For Post no. 01 to 04 no written examination will be taken and the candidate will be
directly interview.
2.
For the Post no. 05 and 06 details of the written test will be announce in the MKCL
website http://oasis.mkcl.org/sndt2013
For the posts where the minimum qualification is 10th pass the difficulty level of the test will
be equivalent to 10th std.
For the posts where the minimum qualification is graduation the difficulty level of Marathi
test will be equivalent to 12std. Marathi.

Documents of short listed candidates from the written test will be verified before the
interview.
4.
As per GR no. izkfue dz 2007@ iz- dz-46@13 v] fnukad 27 tqu] 2008] minimum
marks required for passing is 45% in written test for both open and reserved category
candidates. A candidate has to score mimnimum 45% to be considered for final merit list.
5.
Merit list of candidates scoring equal marks will be made as per GR No. izkfue
dz 2007@

No reference books/material will be given by the University for Written Test.

Selection and Appointment:
1.
A merit list (post wise / category wise) Consolidated merit list based on marks of the
candidates (post wise) who appeared for the written test will be displayed on MKCL
website http://oasis.mkcl.org/sndt2013
2.
From the consolidated merit list, final merit list will be prepared as per reservation.
3.
For posts in Sr. No. 05 & 06 in the above table after verification of documents of the
candidates who pass in the written test. Candidates will be called at the ratio of 1:5 for
typing and 20 marks are allotted for merit typing and 20 marks for English Typing to marks
for interview. The total marks will be 250 and the highest scoring candidates will be
appointed.

For the posts where there are no technical or practical tests, the mark lists will be displayed
in the website http://oasis.mkcl.org/sndt2013 and www. sndt.ac.in. Those candidates who
are shortlisted need to submit the documents for verification as per instructions given. On
the designated date, time and place, the candidates should bring the original documents (as
mentioned in the advertisement) and 3 sets of certified copies. If it is found that any wrong
/ false information was given by the candidates he / she will be disqualified and no
request/arguments / complaints will be entertained.
For the posts where written tests and interview, (as shown in the above table) are to be
taken, the candidates will be called for Practical test / interview, as per merit list. For these
candidates, verification of documents will be done at the time of test / interview. Interview
will not be taken unless the documents are verified and found to be correct.

No TA / DA will be paid for appearing for test or attending the interview.

If two candidates score equal to marks for a post, the selection will be done as per GR No.

prescribed form making online applications i.e. 31.10.2013.
b) Among reserved category candidates reservation order will be followed as per their
reservation.

f) Age (Seniority as per their upper age)
Women will be get first preference on the above reservation.
8.
After verification of documents and considering the total marks in tests and interview,
selected candidates list will be prepared and from the list horizontal reservation list will be
prepared.

Appointment letter will be issued, after checking of all the original documents.
10.
The selected candidate will have to join the place of appointment, at his/ her own expenses.
Other Instructions:
1.
Candidates should be qualified for the post and fulfil other conditions as on 07/11/2013.
2.
Experience as appointment on contract, daily wages, temporary, ad-hoc basis will not be
counted.
3.
GRs issued time to time regarding appointment will be applicable.
4.
Ensure that you are eligible for the post applied as per educational qualification, age,
experience, category etc.,
5.
Do not attach any original document with the application send only attested copies.
6.
Do not send recommendation letters.
7.
The selected candidates will be placed in Juhu Campus.
8.
University is not responsible for non-receipt of call letter for interview/appointment letter.
If the address, mobile number is changed or no longer available or wrong given. No
correspondence will be entertained in this regard.
9.
If it is found that candidates has given wrong / false information or hidden some
information, he/she will be disqualified and appointment letter if given will be cancelled
immediately.
10.
Applications submitted through other modes (other than online) will not be entertained.
11.
If there is a name change, gazette notification should be submitted at the time of document
verification, especially for women candidates, where there is a name change after marriage.
12.
Admit Card / Written Examination / Interview details will be published in the recruitment
website http://oasis.mkcl.org/sndt2013 and www. sndt.ac.in and please do not come in
person / call to get information.
13.
Candidate appointed on approved post after November 1, 2005 shall be entitled for DCPS
Scheme as per GR No. vafu;ks 1005@126@lsok&4] fnuakd 31@10@2005-

Candidate shall apply have to fill separate on line forms for every post he /she wish to apply.

Candidates shall apply only for those earmarked reserved posts, which he belongs to (Caste
& Validity Certificates has to be produced before the verification committee)

Candidate must be resident of Maharashtra as per Government.
a) As per GR. No. fjiHk @iz-dz-66@2011@bZ-10] fnukad 27 tqu] 2011 candidates who
possess domicile certificate shall produce their birth certificate, mentioning his birth in
Maharashtra.
b) In case the candidate does not possess his / her domicile certificate and birth certificate,
he has to produce his school leaving certificate mentioning his /her birth in State of
Maharashtra.
c) The aforesaid terms and conditions shall be applicable to the candidates born in
Maharashtra, others has to produce their Domicile Certificates which is mandatory.
17.
Candidates in service, shall forward their applications through their employers, and
concerned N.O.C. and salary certificates be produced during verification.
18.
As per GR No. iz’kklu 200@iz-dz-2001@32 fnukad 20 tqy,
S 2002 applicants shall produce out
of the certificates as mentioned below for their computer skills.
a)
Passing Certificate of D.O.E.A.C.C. Institute recognised C.C.C or O Level or A,B,C
certificate.
b)
MS. CIT certificate from Government of Maharashtra, Higher & Technical Education.
c)
Computer /Information Technology subject Examinations passed candidate are

19.
Even after submission of application online, candidate can be debarred on grounds of wrong
information, pressuring University Selection Committee by direct or indirect methods. The
candidate shall be terminated even if he/she is appointed without prior intimation and shall
face legal action as per rules.
20.
University shall not be responsible in any manner due to default of Post & Telegraph
Department or if the candidates do not follow the instructions given to them by the
University, time to time online or by letters.
21.
The University reserves all the right to add/ deduct in posts, conduct or cancel any of its
examinations or selection procedure, and the candidates cannot challenge the same in any
manner personally or through court of law.
Grievance pertaining to appointments, interviews or selections shall be dealt by the
University and its decision shall be final.
22.
Candidates have registered their names with any of the District Employment & Self
Employment information Centres, it is mandatory for them to apply online.
23.
No correspondence from the University regarding your application received or not.
24.
The University reserves all rights not to fill some or all the post in the advertisement.
