What is WSFEE?
What is WSFEE?
Founded in 1992, the Western Springs Foundation for
Educational Excellence (WSFEE) is a non-profit volunteer
organization with a mission to acquire and distribute
financial and other resources for the benefit of Western
Springs School District 101 students.
What Does WSFEE Do?
WSFEE provides funding, via grant requests, for innovative educational programs and projects that will extend
and enhance the quality and depth of education that are not part of the District 101 operational budget. Grants
support every aspect of education, such as the arts, science, technology, literacy, social studies and physical
education.
Details regarding the grant application process can be found on www.wsfee.org.

 Donate: Your financial contribution will help WSFEE continue to fulfill its mission of enhancing the
educational experience of children in District 101. Visit www.wsfee.org to donate online. Be sure to
take advantage of your employer’s matching gift program. This is a great way to double your support
of WSFEE.
 Sponsorship and Silent Auction Donations – Sponsors and silent auction donations are vital to the
success of all WSFEE fundraising events. Sponsors and silent auction donations are currently being
sought for the WSFEE Dinner Dance in February 1, 2014.
 Submit Grant Applications: New this year – Grants are now being continuously accepted September
2013 through April 2014. Do you have an idea for an innovative classroom/school program for your
children or students but do not know where to seek funding support? Learn more about the grant
process by contacting a WSFEE volunteer or complete and submit grant applications online at
